At the table, you're on the safe side: Mediterranean cuisine, well-crafted dishes, and fresh ingredients. Nothing fancy or "crazy chef"-esque, but solid quality and just the right portions—the kind that leaves you satisfied, not angry 😄. The service is another plus: the staff is kind, present, and attentive, without being on your nerves every two seconds. That perfect middle ground that's rare these days. And let's face it: it's one of those places that's perfect for special occasions—birthdays, ceremonies, or simply an evening when you want something more than the usual local restaurant. 23/02/2026: Upon entering you are immersed in a fantastic place, order, cleanliness and hospitality are top notch, excellent cuisine to satisfy guests at weddings, birthdays, communions and 18th birthday parties, children safe in a fantastic playground, I always gladly return.

06/11/2025: The food is good and the views are great (if you're lucky). It's expensive, on par with Capri in general. I tried gnocchi alla caprese, since I was in Capri. Very tasty, but the portion was small. The waiter was very friendly and spoke Spanish. I gave him an €8 tip and then regretted it because I'm broke.

Disappointing, if not downright poor, service: pizzas arrive cold, and drinks arrive after you've already finished your appetizers. You have to settle for water. Among those taking orders, some seem to be there by chance: they have no idea what's on the menu. The atmosphere is in line with other restaurants in the area. Given the prices, you'd expect better.

08/01/2026: We went here for dinner through local relatives who have known the place for a long time, and it didn't disappoint. The pizza is among the best we've had in the last 10 years! There's not a huge selection, but you can find everything from classic to more elaborate, and they're delicious. They also make fantastic fried pizza. Prices are average. The location is super cozy and elegant during the Christmas holidays. The waitress was very kind and cheerful. Service was very fast despite the place being almost full. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small and has limited spaces, but otherwise, I definitely recommend it. Congratulations.

23/11/2025: We chose this pizzeria because it was mentioned in Gambero Rosso. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is quick and efficient. The pizza is good, with a truly excellent dough, although the ingredients didn't seem to be of the highest quality as Gambero Rosso claims. The menu offers a wide selection, perhaps even too many options. Overall, the experience was positive, but I must admit I've had better pizzas.

09/03/2026: Everything I could say about this historic venue is superfluous: one of the best pizzas by the slice I've ever eaten. Highly recommended, especially to tourists who get trapped in places not frequented by Neapolitans and which have significantly lowered the standard of food in Naples. A place of resistance in a city slowly abandoning its soul. Thanks to all the staff for brightening up our evenings with their products.

08/03/2026: The food is exceptional. A pizza I will never forget. As a Neapolitan, this pizza is better than the one at Mergellina. The staff is also exceptional. I go every Saturday and I recommend the red pizza with Wagliu salami! P.S.: they also make sandwiches and saltimbocca.

16/11/2025: WHAT a discovery!! Just off the main pedestrian street in the town centre, from outside the place looks very small whereas they have a large side area so plenty of room. We went for lunch on a Sunday and we will visit again for sure!. Nello himself does the greetings (he is from Naples so the food is also Naples based) and is a very charming host, then a very happy lady came and took our order. We ordered food and drink and despite the number of customers the food arrived quite quickly. We both chose the "Genovese" pasta which is pasta in a special meat sauce and was totally delicious, plus a side plate of broccoli. Together with a carafe of the house red wine (which was also good) we spent a princely 23 Euro per head, EXCELLENT value for money for sure.

09/11/2025: We found ourselves in the alleys of Castellabate by chance and noticed this restaurant... the lady's welcome makes you feel right at home, and Mr. Nello's sweetness is the best. We ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed anchovies, oh so delicious. Spaghetti with clams and pasta and seafood beans were incredibly delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients; we had to mop up the sauce with the bread. I truly recommend it; everything was delicious.

06/03/2026: A delicious croquette and an equally good pizza. Perhaps the dough could use a little more salt, but overall, it's really good. It's a small place with only about fifteen tables. They don't take reservations, so I recommend arriving early. Very good prices.

30/12/2025: A restaurant with warm and welcoming staff. The location is charming, and you can eat outside surrounded by nature. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. I'll definitely be back if I ever pass through Marigliano again. :)

13/02/2026: I'm in Naples for work, and almost by chance, a colleague and I discovered the Vincenzo Costa pizzeria. It was an incredible discovery. I can say without exaggeration that it's the best pizza I've ever eaten. The dough is incredibly light, well-leavened, with a high, soft yet fragrant crust. The ingredients are top-quality: stringy, flavorful mozzarella, balanced and fragrant tomato sauce, and generous, perfectly balanced toppings. We had two different pizzas, and both were exceptional, meticulously crafted and cooked to perfection. You can taste the Neapolitan tradition in every bite. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is simple yet authentic. It's one of those pizzerias you don't expect, but instead immediately wins you over. If you find yourself in Naples, you absolutely must try it. For me, it's a true reference point.

25/01/2026: I'm Neapolitan and haven't lived in Naples for 10 years. Many years ago, the pizzeria had a different name, and I'd already been there once. Yesterday, I wanted to try the experience again, remembering an impeccable fried pizza, and they made me try that experience again. I had a complete round fried pizza!!! That's the only way I eat it, plus a Margherita and a crocche (panzarotto di patana). Everything was excellent and quick, 5 minutes and it was all ready, I took it back to the hotel and I was delighted!! Today, I had a Panzarotto frittata and an Arancino, plus a Margherita a portafoglio. Excellent, I recommend it; few make a product like this!! I'll be back.
