19/07/2025: Pizzeria La Rosa is a historic pizzeria near Colli di Fontanelle. We've known this place for many years because, when we were young, it was one of our favorites. I returned after many years and must say I was pleasantly surprised (let me start by saying we only had pizza, but the restaurant also offers a nice selection of dishes that we'll try next time): fast service, friendly staff, cloth napkins, tables on the terrace where, especially in the summer and in the evening, you can enjoy a pleasant coolness, delicious pizzas, well-cooked, well-topped, large, with a shallow crust. Overall, a great place (again, as a pizzeria for now). The wine selection is also good, and wine by the glass is available. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend it. The prices are very reasonable, even for the made-to-order pizzas.

09/07/2025: Siamo stati domenica a pranzo con menù fisso 35 euro tutto mare , un ottimo antipasti abbondante poi abbiamo scelto primo piatto sempre molto abbondante e un secondo con il contorno e le bibite , stavamo scoppiando davvero da ripetete al più presto

11/05/2025: Good pizza and fried food, as well as beers. Really large place, quick service (there is a lot of staff available). On a Saturday there were 2 of us without a reservation, at 9pm we waited about twenty minutes and went in. The parking outside is really convenient, controlled by one of their employees. A personal suggestion: perhaps TVs are superfluous, as they cannot be heard (noisy environment) and above all no one watches them.

25/07/2025: Disfrutamos de un entrante de calamares fritos, una pasta de pescado y pizza - todos eran geniales, en particular los calamares y especialmente la pizza. El servicio es cálido y eficiente. Nos sentamos dentro, que era fresco, pero se perdió el bullicio de Sorrento ocupado, pero hay algunas mesas en la calle si se puede manejar el calor. Lo que es aún mejor es que incluso con el vino, la factura era de menos de 70 €.

20/07/2025: Quaint little steakhouse tucked away on a quiet side street in Sorrento — a nice escape from the busy tourist spots. We shared a tomahawk steak that came with veggies and potatoes, and it was perfect for the table. I had the lamb and house wine; the lamb was slightly overcooked but still tasty. Overall, a good experience and worth a visit if you’re looking for something authentic and less crowded.

03/08/2025: I'm very sorry to have to write this review, because Trianon is a place my husband and I are fond of, and we usually eat excellent pizza there. But last night, just as we'd decided to take two French friends there, the worst happened. The fact that the pizza was nothing like what we're used to (it was small, overcooked, and had a crust that turned chalky after just a few bites) is the lesser of two evils. The most serious thing, however, is the carelessness and superficiality with which certain situations are handled. Let me explain. We sat outside in the beautiful piazza. After a few minutes, a group of kids aged around 8-11 started playing soccer quite violently. They were small, but they were kicking balls that, if misdirected, could have been dangerous. At the very least, the ball kept ending up between the tables, with children running to retrieve it, annoying us. I asked one of the waiters to intervene, but he did so with a very half-hearted attitude, so much so that the children continued playing calmly. After yet another ball-bump (and that was our mistake, because we should have gotten up and left), I insisted that the same waiter do something, but he replied, "What can I do, other than ask them to stop?" So, I'll answer the question here. What can you do? You can ask the parents of the kids, who are also customers of the pizzeria, to intervene. Or to leave. What can you do? You can call the police, because, after all, Piazza Flavio Gioia is not the Arechi Stadium, and if no one—especially the business owners—ever complains about how the city is managed, those who should care remain convinced that everything is fine. What can you do? Possibly, offer to change seats, with many apologies. That's what you could have done. But no, because those customers outnumbered them, so perhaps it wouldn't have been economically advantageous to upset them. Plus, they were also quite large, so putting us at risk would have been the lesser of two evils. At this point, we, as customers, were definitely the losers. So, the pizza could have been a culinary miracle (and no, it wasn't, not at all), but it wouldn't have made up for the terrible way the situation was handled: with indifference, laxity, irresponsibility, and bad faith. A restaurant whose staff doesn't know how to command respect and doesn't know how to make its customers respect it (while also putting them in danger) should, in my opinion, seriously rethink its approach to both customers and institutions.

28/07/2025: The food and drinks are delicious in Trianon!!! Staff is also super cool and helpful with recommendations. You should go there and try it out. Will come back 🫶

02/06/2025: Very convenient place to reach, just outside the Caserta Nord exit, welcoming place, clean, very kind, friendly and welcoming staff. The food was excellent, fresh fish and fair prices. At the end there was some wine left and the owner gave us a cork and had us take the bottle away. Be careful, not everyone has this. Highly recommended
