31/07/2024: Delicious pizza. I didn't expect it to be so big. The staff are nice guys who ask if everything tastes good and everything is fine. While waiting, we got bread with fresh tomatoes "I don't like tomatoes, but here they taste like gold 🙈". I think the price is very nice

28/07/2024: An extraordinary experience after a bucolic visit to the refreshing “communal villa” park next door. We opted for specialties based on “stoccafisso” (we would say cod). But what a lovely surprise to discover this historical-culinary adventure. You absolutely have to stop this way.

20/07/2024: We stopped in this restaurant by chance and I have to be honest, looking from the outside I would have bet that we would not have eaten well. Once inside, however, the environment was warm and welcoming. The spacious tables and the lady who accompanied us was very kind and competent. Few course menu, absolutely a plus and all or almost all based on stockfish. I didn't think to take photos of the menu or even the dishes, too bad. We split an appetizer in two, stockfish carpaccio with marinated Tropea onion, almonds and other things I don't remember. As second courses we had a grilled stockfish fillet, fantastic, and a sweet and sour stockfish fillet with peppers, very good. We accompanied it with a white wine (Madre Goccia from Tenuta Iuzzolini) which was fragrant and full-bodied enough to handle the stockfish recommended to us by the lady who accompanied us to the table and who we later discovered was the owner and chef of the restaurant. The stockfish fillet was treated very well in all cases, among other things it was very high and had an exceptional consistency, especially as regards the grilled stockfish. Absolutely positive experience, recommended place without a doubt. It is absolutely worth a stop or a few kilometers to reach it. You will be rewarded. Generous but not exaggerated portions and fair quality/cost ratio.

29/08/2024: The place is not at all nice from the outside, but the inside is huge and well kept. The staff are good-looking and professional. We ate three pizzas that were a little crunchy but with good ingredients. Fair price, 5 arancini, three pizzas 2 minerals and a coke €47.

25/07/2024: As a customer and a nutritionist I can say that Alternativa is an excellent pizzeria and rotisserie. Family atmosphere, helpful and courteous people, quality preparations with carefully chosen ingredients. It is possible to request pizzas with different types of flour according to your needs. The aperitif is also highly recommended with always different products based on the preparations of the day, always different and fresh.

13/08/2024: We ate a first course, a pizza, an Aspromontana salad, a typical appetizer, a dessert, two coffees, water, 1/2 wine and 1 beer for a cost of 60 euros. Food quality pretty good, service prompt.

25/08/2024: We came in the evening. Dish served cold. The service 0 no water served during the entire service nor salt anything. We have to get up to ask for things because the waitresses pretend not to see you :) I give 3 stars for the kitchen because my dish was good (pasta) but not the rest.

27/08/2024: Spartan place, the pizzas are really good and the sandwiches are very generous. The takeaway service is also excellent. We often pick up pizzas and take them to the beach at sunset. All very good. Also recommended for celiacs.

16/08/2024: So we ordered 2 little fish with seafood and they brought us tagliolini (which I don't like) without warning, with fish that was clearly frozen and of poor quality, dry, truly among the worst I've ever eaten. For the second course, 1 fried dish with prawns and calamari and 1 mixed fried dish... again frozen, of poor quality and the portion also leaves something to be desired. To my question about wine, I was offered a local house wine... when at the checkout I see that the house wine is from Calco (Lombardy). Bad.

07/06/2024: Titolari e personale molto educati, gentili e premurosi. Un comportamento che ci ha messo a proprio agio. Il ristorante è comodo, ampio e molto pulito. Sono abituato a frequentare spesso dei ristoranti di prestigio e sono anche un ottimo cuoco. A occhi chiusi posso dire che la cucina è di grande livello. Ho mangiato la miglior pizza di tutta la provincia della Calabria. Genuina, gustosa, grande, croccante e tenera. Il pesce viene cucinato in modo tradizionale ed è ottimo. Non è una critica ma un incentivo. A mio parere dovrebbero avere nel menù più verdure cotte e dessert, tipiche Calabresi. Il rapporto servizio/costo è molto buono. L'Hostaria Antico Borgo lo considero una vera e propria destinazione gastronomica eccezionale. IL MIO VOTO DA 1 A 10 è 9,5. Posso garantire che vi tornerò anche in futuro. Cene impeccabili, servizio carino ed attento! Locale ottimo per chi cerca una cena di qualità in un ambiente accogliente e rilassante. Sicuramente una dei migliori ristoranti che abbia mai provato in tutta Italia!

07/06/2024: The worst place to eat or have an ice cream, if you are not Italian they don't treat you well, the food takes a while, they serve extremely poorly, they hate dogs, they have no respect, they don't care if you are a tourist or you just live in Italy but you are from another country, I will not come here again, I do not recommend it
