The guys who run it are fantastic, kind, cheerful and clean. I often get pizza from them and they are never wrong, always delicious. They really deserve a lot. Well done. ❤️

24/02/2025: Visiting from London, UK, and loved this pizzeria so much we came twice during our trip to Catanzaro! The variety of pizzas is fantastic, and the freshness and flavors are top-notch. Huge compliments to the chef and a special thanks to Andrea for his kindness and effort in explaining the menu in English. Highly recommend!

02/01/2025: I've known Sombrero practically since it opened. I have seen its evolution from all points of view. From the aesthetic aspect to the choice of flours for the pizzas. Franco has an exceptional staff and above all guarantees a quality pizza that melts in your mouth. If you have been there or if you haven't been there in both cases I invite you to go and return again and again. The pizza, the location and the hospitality were spectacular.

16/02/2025: The experience lived by “La Strega” was more than positive. The restaurant is located near the Cosenza aqueduct. Inside it is spacious, typical. The managers of the restaurant warmly welcome customers and manage orders and service impeccably. The choice is vast both in starters and pizzas as well as desserts and drinks. All exceptional, the initial stregotti, in particular those with sausage and friarelli and those with cooked ham and the pizzas, above all probably the pizzas: witch, Cosenza, buffalo and tasty. This is a restaurant which, due to the goodness and traditionality of the preparations, but above all the kindness and involvement of the staff members during the service, deserves even more than five stars 😁🍕🍺

29/03/2025: Esperienza pessima! Abbiamo prenotato per 6 persone, specificando chiaramente che mia moglie, incinta, non avrebbe accettato un tavolo all'aperto per evitare il fumo passivo. Purtroppo, la richiesta è stata completamente ignorata. Arrivati in pizzeria, la nostra prenotazione è stata trattata con superficialità, come se non esistesse. Ci siamo ritrovati senza tavolo e, data l'ora tarda di sabato sera, non siamo riusciti a trovare un'alternativa. Un modo di gestire le prenotazioni inaccettabile, che sembra puntare solo a massimizzare i coperti senza rispetto per i clienti. Avete perso 6 clienti. Mai più!

24/03/2025: The "crazy" pizza. Congratulations! You are fantastic and at least twice a year I go down to Calabria, from the north, to enjoy your pizza. Very good, light, with always fresh ingredients, even in winter. The staff is very kind, young and capable! See you soon.

29/03/2025: The hotel is in a great location, facing the sea and close to the center, reachable in 5 minutes on foot. The room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom, although not very big, was complete with everything necessary, and a nice shower. Good value for money for the period. Excellent choice for breakfast. Bicycles available for guests to visit the surroundings... Small criticism for improvement: replace the plastic glasses for breakfast with glass ones!

26/03/2025: We were last week at the weekend... but do you want to wash those windows or do we have to come with the glass? Dirty rooms and poor buffet! I won't go back even with the beach view!

08/02/2025: Hosted in the second shift, i.e. after 2.30pm, the service was not fast enough, the first courses were excellent, the second courses could be improved, the strong point was the fried focaccia with oregano salt oil

04/02/2025: Rustic and welcoming place, excellent food with quality raw materials and fast and impeccable service, kind and helpful staff and, what should not be overlooked, the cost is absolutely adequate for the meal. Practically a must try and try again absolutely! Highly recommended.
