19/10/2025: This was one of the best meals we've had in Italy! The setting can't be beat - you're right over the water with a direct view of the castle, and the menu offers much more than pizza. The anitpasta seafood board was generously portioned and had a variety of tasty samplings. My wife had the roasted swordfish for dinner, and I had the swordfish panuozzo. Both were delicious in their own distinct way. We felt very welcome despite limited Italian language skills, and the price was very reasonable for such great quality food. We hope to return someday!

18/08/2025: Beautiful location... you can practically dine right by the sea. The peppered mussels were excellent and plentiful, and the grilled tuna was delicious; it melted in your mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

14/11/2025: Pizza 🍕 Delicious Really delicious pizza! The dough was light, well-leavened, and easy to digest, while the toppings were generous, fresh, and excellent quality. Every bite was a pleasant surprise, with balanced flavors and perfect cooking. Kudos to the staff: an absolutely recommended experience!

07/11/2025: Good place, dedicated dough, not excellent but a good product. The location is the only thing: the bathroom is a bit hidden. I would remove the fake plant that creates confusion. Otherwise, the dining room is modern and the staff are friendly. The dessert I tried, ricotta and figs, had nothing ricotta in it but more cream. For the rest, nothing to add. I don't recommend the table at the entrance on cool evenings because every time you open the door, you get cold, but a divider could solve this. Also worth trying for takeout.

15/09/2025: What a disappointment. I've been coming here every year for the past six years to eat raw crab and pasta. I've always asked for it to be cleaned in the kitchen, which has always been done. This year, I was given pasta with sauce and crab on the side, without claws or anything else. I asked for it to be cleaned, and the ashtray brought it back with broken claws, saying it was buckets of junk. Too bad the entire body without claws was inedible. I also pointed this out on the bill, where the replies weren't any better. In short, I won't be coming back. However, I found out from Mimmo later that I'd been snubbing him for years.

01/11/2025: All in all, a good pizza, if only it hadn't been all burnt. The menu? Extensive, but when you go to order, they have less than half available. They shoved our plate away with the pizza still in our hands. As if that weren't enough, they had a self-service checkout to speed things up, but of course, no receipt. Mediocre experience.

02/11/2025: At Castagneto, everything is almost magnificent, from the breathtaking view to the meticulously prepared food. The appetizer, featuring traditional products, is a triumph of flavors: cured meats, peppers, various pickles... all excellent quality, perfectly balanced, and tastefully presented. We were hesitant to decide on the first courses (a difficult choice, given the selection), but in the end we opted for the spaghetti with crumbled sausage, yellow date tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes, and the ravioli with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and speck. Both were fabulous, rich in flavor, and well-balanced. A special mention also goes to the spicy oil, which "kicks" just the right amount: a real treat for lovers of the genre. Attentive and courteous service, a relaxed and genuine atmosphere. An experience that exudes authenticity and care for the local area. Highly recommended! 🌿🍷
