06/01/2026: Service is sometimes a bit slow, but the atmosphere is very pleasant (especially in the summer) and the food is decent. The menu isn't particularly surprising, but it's very balanced and, while a bit classic (or perhaps because of that), it's excellent. The wine list is also very good. Highly recommended, both for events and for an occasional (and certainly pleasant) stop.

15/01/2026: A historic restaurant in the city where you can also enjoy top-notch rotisserie. The selection is vast, and despite the fact that it's always crowded, the wait is minimal thanks to the excellent organization. You'll realize the overall high quality when you digest the food perfectly and don't go home with the smell of fried food clinging to your clothes. Highly recommended.
09/01/2026: Nothing special. Arancini with ragù and minced meat can be seen under a microscope. They're no longer the usual arancini, they're even smaller.

06/01/2026: This restaurant is located just steps from Gambarie's main square. The atmosphere is very quaint and welcoming on cold or snowy days, thanks also to the fireplace. Excellent selection of wines and delicious dishes, from appetizers to dessert. Recommended!
29/12/2025: We had a family lunch on Boxing Day. The atmosphere was welcoming and attentive. We ordered first and second courses. The pasta was very good, in my case with a delicious wild boar ragù. The meat dishes were also excellent, from lamb to stew to pork shank. We paired our meal with the organic Cirò wine recommended by the owner. The staff was courteous and friendly. We'll be back!

Try the pizza with figs, a culinary masterpiece. If you go to Ischia, you can't miss it.

02/11/2025: This didn’t happen today, but on September 15th - I’m only writing now, when emotions have cooled down.
Still, the experience was very disappointing. I completely understand the restaurant was full and we were willing to wait for a table. However, the waiter was extremely rude and arrogant, and refused to let my 6-year-old daughter use the toilet until we were seated. That’s basic human decency, especially when it concerns a small child. No matter how good the food might be, such an attitude is UNACCEPTABLE!
19/10/2025: This was one of the best meals we've had in Italy! The setting can't be beat - you're right over the water with a direct view of the castle, and the menu offers much more than pizza. The anitpasta seafood board was generously portioned and had a variety of tasty samplings. My wife had the roasted swordfish for dinner, and I had the swordfish panuozzo. Both were delicious in their own distinct way. We felt very welcome despite limited Italian language skills, and the price was very reasonable for such great quality food. We hope to return someday!

22/09/2025: I ordered from this place after seeing the photos online, which looked really inviting. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I had ordered a selection of focaccias specifically to try different types, but none of them convinced me: the flavors were all very bland and lacking in character. I was expecting bolder, richer flavors, but the result was rather bland.
Honestly, it's not a place I'd return to.

Beautiful place, a rich and friendly menu, with pizzas named after Calabrian sayings! We were given free zeppole as a welcome gift, and the pizzas arrived almost immediately... each one better than the last, with excellent, light dough that didn't weigh us down, and quality ingredients! The staff was very friendly and fast, and the price, considering the high quality of the products, was even lower than other pizzerias in the area. This time, in addition to the welcome zeppole, they also gave us a free dessert... a Montanarina with various flavors to choose from.
The surprise was the "focu grandi meu" pizza with its flame-grilled crust and pancetta!
You really have to go to Tre Farine!!!

But regarding the atmosphere, I can say that rudeness and unhelpfulness are their forte. They almost didn't let us in (at 9 pm!) because when we arrived, they "were too busy"...
Unheard of, but there were only a couple of people in front of us.
It would have been much more elegant to say there was a bit of a wait and then we could have decided whether to stay or not.
But you don't turn away customers.
