23/10/2025: There were six of us, and we ordered different dishes: some pasta, some pizza, and a cured meats appetizer for everyone. We were very happy, we really had a great time. Highly recommended.

02/11/2025: This didn’t happen today, but on September 15th - I’m only writing now, when emotions have cooled down. Still, the experience was very disappointing. I completely understand the restaurant was full and we were willing to wait for a table. However, the waiter was extremely rude and arrogant, and refused to let my 6-year-old daughter use the toilet until we were seated. That’s basic human decency, especially when it concerns a small child. No matter how good the food might be, such an attitude is UNACCEPTABLE!

19/10/2025: This was one of the best meals we've had in Italy! The setting can't be beat - you're right over the water with a direct view of the castle, and the menu offers much more than pizza. The anitpasta seafood board was generously portioned and had a variety of tasty samplings. My wife had the roasted swordfish for dinner, and I had the swordfish panuozzo. Both were delicious in their own distinct way. We felt very welcome despite limited Italian language skills, and the price was very reasonable for such great quality food. We hope to return someday!

06/01/2026: This restaurant is located just steps from Gambarie's main square. The atmosphere is very quaint and welcoming on cold or snowy days, thanks also to the fireplace. Excellent selection of wines and delicious dishes, from appetizers to dessert. Recommended!

19/02/2026: We stumbled upon this pizzeria in Praia a Mare this evening somewhat by chance. I must first compliment the owner for his kindness and courtesy. We pestered him a bit with the child who needed a screwdriver to put the batteries in the helicopter he'd just bought, and even though it wasn't a standard pizzeria tool, he provided one and even helped us install the batteries. Obviously, it started off great, but everything else was truly up to par. The first thing I generally evaluate in a place is the restroom, because it tells us more than we're given to see. In this case, it easily exceeded our expectations. The restroom was spotless beyond our expectations. After returning from the restroom, we moved on to the pizzas. The menu (all digital) offers traditional and innovative pizzas. We tried both, starting with the queen of traditional pizzas, the Margherita, followed by the Tropea with tuna and onion, and finally a touch of innovation with the Bronte with yellow cherry tomatoes and Bronte pistachios. The pizzas were truly delicious, the dough light and flavorful (they didn't float in the oil), and the cooking and consistency were just right. Overall, an excellent experience in every way: the welcome, the cleanliness, and the quality of the food. I'd say it's a place I highly recommend.
