14/01/2024: Il 4 gennaio Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per festeggiare insieme io e mio fratello i nostri compleanni e pensionamento con una magnifica cena con le nostre famiglie. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dal servizio con camerieri molto professionali, e il cibo di qualità; ottimo antipasto di mare, paccheri all'astice cotti alla perfezione e saporiti, infine il secondo di pesce molto buono. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima e indimenticabile serata fino a mezzanotte in bella compagnia, allietata dalla bella musica suonata con violino dalla bravissima violinista e nuora di mio fratello. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità del titolare e di tutto lo staff, sono stati molto attenti alle nostre esigenze e ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo, purtroppo abito a quasi 1000 Km di distanza, ma quando capiterà l'occasione, ci ritornerò.

01/05/2024: Seconda volta che con family pranziamo presso trattoria da Bartolo a Vibo valentia. Dal sig Bartolo qualità assicurata. Abbiamo preso antipasto tipico, pasta con funghi e pancetta, pesce stocco cotoletta e patate e pennette al sugo. Tartufo pizzo e tortino 5 minuti da uscita di s. Onofrio. Si consiglia vivamente. Sicuramente da ritornare x pizza serale. Complimenti

28/04/2024: Di passaggio, di sera, abbiamo preso il pollo con patate al forno, gustoso ma anche dietetico, se si toglie la pelle e si condisce con un filo d'olio. Per inizio delle bruschettine deliziose. Servizio veloce, prezzi onesti

06/08/2024: If this is a pizzeria my grandfather is Brad Pitt Hard pizza with frozen dough (in my opinion) Staff who were in a hurry, so much so that when ordering, the waitress asked us "can we hurry?" This mystical experience ended in the bathroom when I realized that the bathroom window (without a glass window but with a curtain) communicated with the kitchen, that's what that mix of flavors on the pizza was! 🤢

06/08/2024: Pizzeria? Bah più che una pizzeria sembrava un posto messo su così per gioco. Pizza forse con impasto congelato, non digerita al massimo. Personale abbastanza maleducato, la cameriera al momento dell’ordinazione mi ha chiesto “possiamo sbrigarci?” Che dire di più? Niente, non ci torneremo

15/08/2024: terrible place!! even with a reservation they made us wait an hour on the sofas at the entrance, which were also wet, which we obviously dried ourselves. another hour and a half to get some good pizzas to eat, which only made us feel bad the evening and the next day! inexperienced waiters, 30 minutes to bring us two bottles of water and despite the many thanks for everything they brought us they only managed to look at each of us badly and disgusted. I know it's hard work but you can at least pretend... in conclusion, terrible restaurant with exaggerated prices for the crap they make you eat

15/08/2024: As usual in Reggio Calabria it works "u sai cu sugnu eu e cu si tu", last night after we had booked at 9.30pm we queued up (considering that there are two queues for both the pizzeria and the restaurant), after more than half an hour of waiting the queue became quite long and the less polite people moved forward past the queue because a guy from the club who was shown the door only let them pass because he knew them or they were friends, and I don't think it's correct considering that we had all made the reservation and waited our turn, and obviously they passed in the restaurant line to go to the pizzeria just to do a favor or to do it first...so have a bit of respect and common sense for everyone because the people who see these scenes "even if they are not from Calabria" are disgusted to see these things....

18/08/2024: We stopped for an aperitif and I think the photo speaks for itself. I've been wondering since when in Calabria a small bowl of discount chips (for four people) can be considered an aperitif. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

22/06/2024: I’ve read that the place has only a 3.5 tripadvisor mark; however, it was hard to find another nearby open before 7 PM. And then it was miraculous. Tasty food, kind service. It was not expensive. This place should have five stars.

18/08/2024: For the review I consulted my granddaughter who is learning to judge the places we frequent and this is her opinion: "excellent pizza, good chips, friendly and quick waiters, small but well furnished place". Seven years later. August 16, 2024. A special evening at the Calypso camping village in Marina di Caulonia. La luna, the restaurant by the sea, a beautiful and large company of various European nations (Italians, Germans and a Dutchman), who for years have chosen Calypso to spend the summer on the sea of ​​the Ionian coast of Calabria. A special dinner with a single dish "fusilloni with cucuzzelli spinusi", the famous spiny wild artichokes widespread on this coast. A "five-star" cook, Antonella, who was able to introduce and enjoy a typical local dish that will remain in the memories of all the participants (18). And, finally, local ice creams (truffles) proposed by the village director, Marco, concluded a well-presented and well-served dinner. The positive opinion on the dinner was shared by all the guests, including children and teenagers (5 out of 18).

17/08/2024: The former restaurant and pizzeria no longer exists. We ate there last summer and, like all the years before, it was very good. It is closed or moved to a hut on the beach. The quality is no longer what it was back then. The pinsa was a finished floor with little covering. Coperto per person 2 euros. In a beach shack... That's it for the Calypso chapter. Too bad.

22/08/2024: Locale che non delude le aspettative. Alto livello, con ingredienti di qualità e abbinamenti ricercati sia per la pizza che per la cucina. Personale cordiale, preparato e veloce nel servire.

Le meilleur endroit de Santa Domenica ! Ottimo posto… si mangia benissimo… il personale è molto attento… Tutto ottimo! La pizza è molto molto buona! Ambiente familiare e amichevole.. Il posto migliore a Santa Domenica!

30/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato con il secondo giro di tavolo perché prima era tutto pieno. Arrivati alle 21.30 come pattuito il tavolo era pronto. Servizio veloce, cortese e professionale. Buoni gli antipasti e ottime le pizze.

02/06/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in una giornata piena di gente, nonostante tutto, cibo di alta qualità, personale attento e gentile, portate rapide senza lunghe attese, ottimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

21/07/2024: Polite staff and nice place, the food is good too. It's a shame that I ordered a first course of linguine with mussels and clams which cost €14 on the menu and I was given an “off-menu” of linguine with clams at the price of €22. Asking the waiter for explanations about the price difference I was told if we wanted a bitter. First time I've seen something like this.

20/08/2023: Polite and helpful staff. Clean and ventilated place. Good pizzas. Tasty dough and toppings. The frying is decidedly tasteless. Ditto fish first courses. They also have food for celiacs. Excellent care and attention in this.

29/07/2024: Takeout pizzas are small, flat and almost without cheese. We didn't eat there because we thought it was decadent.

22/06/2024: They don't have a menu, it's hot in the place, you wanted to eat pizza but they brought us bread with cheese and ham or something like that... we didn't feel comfortable. we would not return
