22/02/2026: The food was really good, I can't say anything about that. The dishes were tasty and well-prepared. But unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the bill. We were charged a €2 service charge per person that wasn't listed anywhere on the menu. Furthermore, the prices on the menu didn't match those on the receipt. We were honestly shocked. As tourists, we felt very judged in this place: we were stared at as if we were stupid and often even laughed at. It made us feel really uncomfortable. It's a shame, because the food deserves better, but transparency and respect are essential. Two stars. ⭐⭐

12/04/2026: Relaxing atmosphere with a beautifully kept garden (formerly an oil mill). Excellent food (potato casserole, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and paccheri with cod) at the right price (not too cheap, not too expensive). Highly recommended!

25/01/2026: I can't rate it as a restaurant, but the pizza was truly awful. We had a table of seven, seven pizzas that needed a chainsaw to cut, and they were incredibly tough. And then the annoying thing was that frying smoke was coming from the kitchen and filling the dining room. Perhaps the kitchen exhaust system needs to be improved. We had to take our jackets to the dry cleaners; I've never had anything like that happen in all the restaurants I've been to.

04/05/2026: A bad experience with a stretched pizza made with low-quality dough: rubbery, undercooked, and lacking in ingredients. Watch the prices (no receipt, no details, everything justifiably verbal doesn't justify exorbitant prices). Poor management.

11/06/2026: Excellent value for money and generous portions. We ate really well. Superb mixed grill with five types of fish. The Tropea salad was excellent. The eggplant scapici and fish appetizer were excellent. €81 for two, including wine, mineral water, and coffee. We left the table feeling full and satisfied.

08/06/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was very pleased with my visit. I ordered the Tropea pasta and a pizza, and both dishes were truly delicious. The pasta was delightfully flavorful, with fresh ingredients and excellent preparation, while the pizza was perfectly baked, with crispy dough and aromatic toppings. The pleasant atmosphere and friendly service were also a plus. The fact that the chef was Polish was also a pleasant surprise, which made me feel even more at ease. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates delicious cuisine and high-quality dishes.

16/06/2026: My experience was extremely negative. The customer is never right here because the manager doesn't listen to his customers' needs. On the contrary, he accuses them of mistakes that hide a serious disorganization within the Siderno McDonalds environment. 3 out of 3 wrong sandwiches and 2 replaced, a chicken sandwich with a pink cutlet... all seasoned with a lack of respect for the consumer's health, since the incident was downplayed and treated as a customer whim... shame, shame because throughout Italy McDonalds works great but here unfortunately it is to be failed... some time ago problems with the air conditioning, a hair in the sandwich, lack of products bought at the drive thru... but yesterday we hit rock bottom... in front of other customers we felt accused of errors that were clearly not attributable to us since, equipped with receipts, we had to fight to obtain 2 out of 3 replacements... compliments to the manager, who instead of understanding the situation and addressing the problem with determination and courtesy towards the customer, thought to place the blame on us. Basically, sandwiches are, fighting for a sandwich makes no sense... it means that the poor way in which we were treated will be brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities.

14/04/2026: Last night, only thanks to a phone call we made to confirm, did we discover that the private room we had booked well in advance was no longer available. They gave us no advance notice. We were therefore forced to organize my mother's birthday party at the last minute at another venue, with all the inconvenience that entails. We were told that the room had been assigned to regular customers, demonstrating a total lack of respect for those who book ahead for an important occasion. Unprofessional and extremely rude. A decidedly negative experience.

27/12/2025: Truly remarkable. Top-quality food. Nice parking lot, convenient for both walking and driving.

26/09/2025: Disappointing experience. The second week of September, the Cirò Marina waterfront was completely deserted and all the restaurants were closed. Only Malibú was open, so we settled in for a few snacks and perhaps a drink of the renowned Cirò wine. We ordered a Cirò red wine, which was served at 38°C (98.4°F), explaining that "red doesn't go in the refrigerator." We agreed, but not even at 40°C (104.4°F). In fact, once opened, the wine had turned to vinegar, to which the owner explained, "We're not in the bottle of wine." In short, two embarrassing moments later, we insisted on having it returned and opted for beer. To our surprise, he didn't charge us for it. We were surprised, because the outlook was dire. Tourism in Calabria could boom if only the Calabrians were more hospitable, more friendly, and less Calabrian.

11/05/2026: A few days ago we had a meal for 6 people...the appetizers were poor, spaghetti allo scoglio lacking any fishy flavor, spaghetti with squid ink ditto...gnocchi and scilatelli with ragù let's not even talk about it...not recommended

09/02/2026: Really nice place, very kind staff, they were really quick to bring the appetizers and first courses, the thing that impressed me most was the risotto alla pescatore really good, it's a marinated fish dish. We will definitely be back.

13/06/2026: Nothing to complain about the service and friendliness, but I didn't find the music volume pleasant, like an extension of the Kursal in full jet lag. Then the smell of used foundry oil takes away your appetite and makes you forget why you came here.

12/06/2026: It's a shame to review a place I've been to several times and will definitely return. I was having lunch with a colleague and ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail. I noticed that the bartender, to improve the taste, had added pineapple juice, which wasn't on the menu. So I immediately stopped him, saying that my colleague was allergic to pineapple and that this addition would have caused her to go into full-blown anaphylactic shock with airway obstruction. In a friendly and cordial tone, after having to have the drink remade, I said, "Can I give you a suggestion? Next time, if you need to add something off the menu, please share it, because I assure you I would have had to call an ambulance urgently." I expected, not just an apology, but at least an "OK, thanks." The reaction was one of complete indifference, with the bartender looking at me and, without saying anything, asking me to settle the bill. A little more politeness would have been enough, and I wouldn't have written this review.

04/09/2025: Clean environment, courteous and friendly staff. Normal wait times. The pizza is crispy with excellent leavening, fresh ingredients, and the quality is evident. Normal prices, a variety of options, and excellent customer service. In the summer, if you order takeout, I recommend booking in advance so you can at least get it at the time you choose.

13/06/2026: The first and last time I'll come to this place. We booked a table for three. We arrived at this pizzeria around 9:45 PM. We ordered pizzas, and they arrived around 11:30 PM. It was a disgrace, and there weren't even many people there. We tried the pizzas, which were truly inedible. They were so salty they made our stomachs turn, as indigestible as they were, with poor-quality ingredients, and the service was nonexistent. It felt like we were talking to a brick wall. I hope they close down soon, never again. 👎
