A wood-fired oven and delicious Roman-style pizza, thin and fragrant. Small space and a dated atmosphere.
If you're looking for a nice place for a first date, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for substance (a pizza, a beer, and a crostini), you're in the right place, with fair, average prices.
The menu also features some good first and second courses.
The menu you see in the photos is outdated; add an average of €2 per pizza for the new prices.
23/03/2026: It feels like an old-fashioned osteria. Thin Roman-style pizza. Good appetizers. Homely service, and best of all, no TV. You can hang out and chat. For a carefree evening.

A 50-minute wait for a table despite the restaurant being 70% empty.
I'm not describing the pizza just out of pity.
We hoped until the very end that at least the wait would be worth it.

21/12/2025: A welcoming restaurant with 1970s decor, spacious, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed excellent ricotta and spinach ravioli with a white porcini mushroom and truffle sauce, fettuccine with tomato sauce, two side dishes, water, and a generous glass of house wine. Attentive service from the young man. The unique dessert was presented with two teaspoons, on their own initiative. The bill was fair, exactly in line with the menu price (€47).
14/12/2025: The pizza is very good, the service is good but be careful with the bill, every time I go there I pay 7 euros more outside of the cover charge 2 euros per person... who knows

22/12/2025: The food is excellent, the pizza is spectacular, the best in Avezzano, I always go there. Renovated and spacious environment with excellent service, only pizza by the slice and better to order it on the spot.

12/11/2025: I called to order "spianata" pizzas. Where I come from, "spianata" means a larger pizza, placed in a larger box, to be shared at parties. The lady, not understanding, made annoyed jokes and rudely rejected my request. I had never spoken on the phone with someone so unprofessional and unpleasant.

Otherwise, zero stars.
17/01/2026: A horror experience that I won't return to and won't recommend! Creepy! Lazy and unprofessional service, acidic and incisive! The food deserves a 4 (the restaurant is another matter). 50 euros for these things with water, 4 euros for bread (strictly stale).

Buona pizzeria con vasta scelta di pizze e prodotti affini.
Qualità degli alimenti più che soddisfacenti.
Positivo il tovagliato di tessuto e non di carta.
Notato personale numeroso ma un po'
confusionario.
Tempi d attesa normali (siamo arrivati alle 20).
Prezzi per primi piatti e pizzeria contenuti.

30/06/2025: Serata veramente spiacevole,personale completamente all'oscuro di un servizio ristorativo del 2025 vino Rosato caldo servizio pessimo improvvisazione totale pizza bruciata e ore di attesa.
.alle critiche *l'imprenditore " ha risposto con maleducazione e arroganza. Su una capienza di 60 persone eravamo 150.

04/03/2025: Era molto tempo che non pranzavo alla Giara , e devo dire che sono rimasto molto soddisfatto, come ricordavo del resto.Un pranzo infra di lavoro, ospite di amici del posto. Sapori autentici: bruschetta semplice accompagnata da legumi, mezze maniche alla carbonara ed un assaggio di secondo, ottima carne tagliata. Vino cerasuolo bio. Sicuramente un punto di riferimento culinario in zona Alto Aterno.

29/06/2025: Una comida memorable en Pescacasseroli fue nuestra cena en La Rotonda. Se trata de una pequeña pizzería familiar (muy cerca del Hotel Daniel donde estábamos estacionando), un montón de opciones vegetarianas en el menú, pizzas frescas que salen de un horno de leña, con un servicio amable.
22/02/2025: Piccola pizzeria, ottima pizza cotta nel forno a legna, semplice, servizio veloce.
Purtroppo l ingresso e l esterno poco curati.
