03/11/2023: Excellent solution for those who visit the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere and want to have a quick but good lunch. The sandwiches are excellent, made with freshly baked bread (the managers own a bakery) and the desserts are delicious. The outdoor tables in front of the abbey provide the right space to eat in peace.

09/05/2024: Went for a meal at the hotel on the recommendation of the receptionist. Super tasty, real Italian food like La Nonna cooks, very busy, lots of locals, always a good sign. Will definitely do it again.

05/04/2024: The food was good although the prices were perhaps a little higher than average. Unfortunately, the service lowers the rating as the waiter brought us an unsolicited focaccia, passing it off as a complimentary gift from the house, when in fact it was charged to our bill, which is certainly a questionable attitude. The clean and elegant environment.
25/03/2024: From the outside the restaurant appears a bit anonymous, while upon entering it overturns expectations by an elegant and formal restaurant with great attention to detail; a very interesting detail is the glass which leaves the meat cooking area exposed. Excellent quality pizza and meat, fast service which however did not fully satisfy us.

03/03/2024: I came into the restaurant and just wanted to have a beer. It was only sparsely occupied at around 10% with other guests. When I paid, my previously positive impression of the visually appealing interior design suddenly turned negative. In addition to €3 for the beer, I was charged €2 coperto. When I protested that I hadn't eaten anything, the waiter said very arrogantly: "But I would have taken a seat." And no, I wasn't offered or given any bread, nuts or other accompaniments. I paid, but the store no longer sees me.

27/11/2023: I was last Friday and Saturday for dinner with friends at the great Tonino's Scialuppa della Nave. What to say? Great cuisine, yes I am referring to the cuisine and not to the fish specifically. You can see that behind those stoves there is over half a century of experience. The service is attentive and scrupulous. Definitely coming back.

01/04/2024: Welcomed with extreme kindness, in particular Roberta who was very kind even on the phone, we had pappardelle with wild boar ragù and paccheri with sausage, pistachio and stracciatella which were truly sublime, not least the kebabs and sliced veal cooked au point. Excellent quality, impeccable service. Highly recommended we will return.

11/05/2024: The restaurant has a pleasant, rustic, very particular atmosphere. The pizza on the plate is nothing extraordinary. The shovel one, on the other hand, is more pleasant, soft and consistent.
06/05/2024: I ate the pizza with the gluten-free base and I must say very good compared to many others I've tried, definitely one of the best. Very nice and well-maintained location, shame about the changing table missing in the bathrooms which forced me to change the baby on two chairs. Unfortunately, the explanation given to me by the staff is more than acceptable: "We had to remove it because they left it". Incivility is always upon us. The service three stars because it was very slow. We went in at 8pm and left at 11.30pm eating only a portion of chips and pizza. Very slow and not taking into account that there were also children. Price normal all things considered. Overall, absolutely recommended..
