09/03/2025: There is a QR code on the table, and when you open the menu on your smartphone, you can see menus in languages other than Italian, which is tourist-friendly. Also, the pizza was delicious and satisfying. For two people, two appetizers, two pizzas, and four beers, it cost less than 60 euros.

On the advice of some residents I come across this local Osteria Tipica.
The welcome from the staff and the manager Valeria was impeccable.
I immediately understood that the management is entrusted to a young kitchen brigade with a great desire to satisfy the palates of all customers.
The proposals of the Chef and manager of the restaurant are not at all predictable.
They work with high-quality materials, enhancing the typical products of the area.
A round of applause to Daniele, Victor, Valeria and all their staff.
Keep going down this path.

10/05/2025: Really very good. Delicious. Price-performance ratio is also great. It doesn't look or feel very comfortable from outside, but it's enough to eat. We didn't score for long either.
24/04/2025: I ordered from them this evening with Just It. The delivery arrived on time and the white pizza with mozzarella, ham and rocket was rich in ingredients and the dough was soft and didn't weigh you down. I also ordered a portion of large fries and I must admit that the quantity was really a lot. The only flaw was the rice balls... for goodness sake they were very good, but perhaps a little too small for the price at which they are sold. I will definitely order again!! Congratulations also to the rider. Educators and kind!!

16/03/2025: I had written a poem but it didn't pay off and I deleted it; I think it's more poetic to sit there enjoying Eugenio's wonderful pizzas and smiling with Simona while she serves. Simple environment, polite and friendly people. You can easily make friends with other customers while waiting or eating. We're all happy in there, even the dogs😂

01/03/2025: Very thin pizza but fortunately it remains dry in the center. However, it looks more like a piadina than a pizza. Good quality products, especially the oil. Friendly but slow service. Prices (not for pizza) a little too expensive. A panna cotta in a little glass of coffee costs the same as a (normal) portion of Sachertorte (5 euros). 3 euro cover charge for a paper napkin is not even an adequate price. Dated place. Overall sufficient for the quality of the products (pizza). Courteous and helpful staff.
23/02/2025: This pizzeria is a guarantee. The pizza is very thin and very easy to digest. They definitely use top quality ingredients because the flavors are exceptional. Compliments!

We showed up last night at 17, at 10:40 pm hungry and tired after a concert and she welcomed us with kindness, friendliness, availability and without making us feel the late hour. Thank you so much, if we return to sing in Lanciano we will be with her!!! Il Coro delle 9
I add: all this, after the pizzeria la Torre (which we had booked for 10:20 pm) left us outside in the cold for half an hour saying that we had to wait....listen to this...for a table to become free...if they want to do a double shift they should organize themselves!

01/02/2025: Inconspicuous but concrete pizzeria.
Wood-fired oven and delicious pizza, fine and fragrant Roman style. Small spaces and dated environment.
If you're looking for a nice place for a first date, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for substance (a pizza, a beer and a crouton) you're in the right place, with honest average prices.
On the menu you will also find some good first and second courses.

06/04/2025: We were in this place on Saturday evening (after having booked the day before) 4 people seated at a table large enough for a maximum of 2 positioned between the cashier and the pizzeria counter... Overall very good pizza... Asked for 20 kebabs at 9.45pm but they were finished 😵 (in Abruzzo on Saturday evenings at the same time even pharmacies serve kebabs).... Pos not "working" payment in cash without receipt 🤷..... It's a shame because it doesn't take much to make the customer feel at ease.....

07/02/2025: Monticchio branch: Closing "00:00", I order a takeaway pizza at 10.15pm for 10.30pm ..answer "we closed the bakery". I point out that on Google the closing time is 00 and twice I get the response "I can't hear you". I hung up on the triple tease. Lazy and ill-mannered.

30/03/2025: We went for a perfect dinner, my companions decided to return shortly, a nice place as it used to be more concrete than to show, I recommend the fried foods and the pizza, as well as the first courses, I will be back soon, the girls are also good, the service is excellent

15/05/2025: Unfortunately very bad, 1 hour and 40 minutes to wait for the pizzas that never arrived. We left and only consumed the chips. I understand that there may be problems in the kitchen, but after asking numerous times the answers received were after an hour "they are arriving" and after an hour and 15 minutes "the pizzas are coming out". Very bad experience.
11/05/2025: We just went for lunch. Up to the starters, apart from a single episode of the waitress who picks up the fried onion with her hands and puts it back on the plate, everything is ok, but then we wait an hour for the second courses, we ask how long it takes and then after a further quarter of an hour they arrive. The food wasn't bad overall but the mixed grill seemed dry to us and seemed "reheated", in any case (there were four of us) we ate separately because two second courses arrived first and then the other two when the others had already finished. The side dish never arrived. When we go to pay we tell these things to the cashier, who didn't agree with some things, apologizing for others, however everyone has their own ideas, we pay and go out. In the meantime the staff talks about the "table 15" issue but they do it when I was still inside the room and heard everything. I'm sorry, but although everyone can agree or not, you don't talk to customers with expressions like "these people" "only argumentative" etc. We were uncomfortable and lunch really went sideways for me. You don't do this after making us eat after an hour of waiting or even together.

05/03/2025: Festa di carnevale: animazione e box merenda bimbi 10€. Organizziamo con la classe dato che sembrava carino. Arrivo con bimba di 3 anni e uno di 12 mesi appena compiuti, la signora mi dice che anche il piccolo deve pagare.. Le faccio notare che non cammina e non mangia, perché deve pagare il box merenda? Se ne esce con "anche se aveva 6 mesi pagava!"
Box merenda? Un micro spicchio di pizza e una bottiglietta d'acqua
Animazione terribile, saranno loro che avranno arrangiato un po' di musica.. E che musica? Bomba e simili.. Ma baby dance, giochi, no? Coriandoli e stelle filanti vietate.. Cosa organizzate a fare feste di carnevale per bambini? Solo per spillare soldi.
