It's a dish that tastes of home, of family Sundays, of timeless traditions. It's precisely for the cazzarielli that I've been coming here for years, and every time I find the same unique flavor and the same care in preparation. The portions never disappoint, the main courses—like the grilled lamb—confirm the solidity of the cuisine, while the homemade desserts round out every meal with simplicity and sweetness. The cellar offers a limited but well-chosen selection of local wines, perfect to accompany these authentic flavors. In short: a sincere trattoria, built on substance and tradition, that deserves all four stars. You come, you return, and you return again... especially for the cazzarielli.

17/09/2025: I ordered a red artichoke pizza and it was spectacular. The only thing was that I had to wait for the rest of the orders, but it was worth it. They also have medium-sized pizzas ready to eat. The waitress and pizza maker were super nice. Very good service.

11/10/2025: Terrible experience. Rude waiter. We were a group and they mistakenly brought an extra pizza to the table. When we pointed this out, the waiter told us we could eat it because they'd add it to our bill. We paid for an extra pizza we didn't ask for, brought to the table by mistake!!! Something like this has never happened before, and we've been to a lot of places! Not recommended!

05/10/2025: A small but welcoming pizzeria. The mixed fried fish appetizers were excellent, but the pizza, with its light and easily digestible crust, was exceptional! The "Antonio" pizza with provola cheese, pepper, sweet salami, and eggplant was sublime. The staff was extremely friendly, and they offered a complimentary limoncello at the counter. Top!

02/07/2025: My favorite pizzeria❤️. Very good quality of ingredients, excellent value for money, only thing is that the calzones are a bit dry. When there are a lot of people it is a bit difficult to order and there is not a real queue

21/06/2025: My favorite in ABSOLUTE, both the old and the new management, the taste of Ottavio's tomato is super recognizable, hot, tasty, without mozzarella (which I LOVE and prefer) or with, both are excellent. Kind, courteous staff and attentive to customer requests. I have been eating pizza at Ottavio for 25 years and it has NEVER disappointed me once, absolutely TOP of the range among the various pizzerias that are in the hills, for me the best, better than Giampiero or Odissea ... the only one that can stand the comparison is Frate Tac, but that's another story ... Keep it up guys ❤️

02/09/2025: It looks like a bar, but it has every indication of wanting to be a nightclub. The atmosphere is dark, with music of a single genre pounding at a volume that doesn't allow for conversation at the table. The staff, at times bored and a little annoyed, quickly dismisses requests. Not recommended.

07/08/2025: I've never had a better pizza!!! It came with an aperitif, a drink, and a selection of appetizers, all delicious. I went back to eat at this lovely place last night. Everything was delicious and appetizing. The service was excellent; the girl who brought us the platters, pizzas, drinks, and chips was incredibly kind and helpful! And we didn't spend much either... We'll be back as soon as possible.

26/09/2025: What can I say? For me, this is the best restaurant ever. Everything was superb, top quality, the staff was always available, the place was truly stunning and impeccable. Highly recommended!

18/09/2025: Excellent quality (we tried the Piedmontese Fassona carpaccio and two Spanish beef steaks), followed by arrosticini and tagliata with various sides, such as baked potatoes and broccoli rabe, with their recommended Montepulciano wine. Fast service and friendly staff. The price is reasonable for the quality.

28/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant at the recommendation of the owner of the apartment where we're staying, and we can say we were truly satisfied. We had an appetizer and three pizzas, one of which was for our daughter, and it arrived practically minutes after we ordered. Everything was truly delicious! We were greeted with kindness and helpfulness. Mr. Tony came to our table and was truly an excellent host. The ladies who took our order and brought the food to our table were incredibly sweet and kind. Congratulations!

14/08/2025: Great experience! The place is welcoming and well-maintained. The staff is truly friendly, and one of the owners is passionate about local history. We're three people, and we've been there twice: the first time we had two pizzas and a burger. What can I say, the best pizzas we've ever eaten. The "Appruzzium" in particular is truly remarkable! The burger is also delicious, not just the meat and bread, but also the toppings: the Montepulciano mayonnaise is exquisite. The second time, however, we came back specifically for the pizza, because it's truly worth it. Thin, light, and crispy dough, and excellent, high-quality ingredients. Both times, it was paired with an excellent local Cerasuolo. Worth noting is that each dish on the menu comes with a craft beer or wine to pair with it. The price is perfectly in line. Overall, a great experience; if we're ever in Ortona again, we'll definitely be back!

12/08/2025: Solo Pizza in Atri is a charming pizzeria in the heart of the old town. The pizza, especially the pizza al taglio, is delicious with a variety of toppings and perfectly cooked dough, earning much praise from guests. The outdoor terrace on the picturesque Piazza Francesco Martella creates a cozy atmosphere. The staff is mostly friendly, and the prices are fair. One minor criticism: service can be slow during peak hours due to a lack of organization. Nevertheless, highly recommended for delicious pizza in a great atmosphere!
