24/08/2025: We dined here on the evening of August 15th with friends. Everything was excellent despite the restaurant being packed. All our requests were met, as there was even a celiac person there. The pizza was super easy to digest!

22/08/2025: It was one of the few restaurants open in mid-August. Large selection of pizzas. Tasty and generously sized. Service is friendly and fast. The nonnas in the kitchen do a great job. 2 people, 2 main courses + 3 drinks = €27

07/07/2025: I stayed there last night. What is striking is the impeccable cleanliness of a hotel that, however, is a 3 star. Spacious, clean rooms, with air conditioning. Even the corridors smell clean. Friendly staff and a breakfast buffet with a wide choice. Located a stone's throw from the center. I absolutely recommend it.

03/09/2025: Tonight we went to a restaurant for a family dinner, hoping for a pleasant evening, and so it was. However, one of the people at the table had to wait an interminable amount of time for the dish they ordered. When we pointed out the missing dish, we were told it was being prepared and would be out shortly. However, the wait got even longer, so it's not hard for me to believe the dish hadn't even been considered before the note was made. Otherwise, I would avoid keeping a dish on the menu that takes so long to prepare, even when the room is practically empty. I've worked in the restaurant industry for many years, and honestly, I'd be mortified to see a guest eating their order while coffee was already being consumed at the table. The pizza is good.

18/07/2025: Not only excellent thin-crust pizzas, but also first and second courses, side dishes, and desserts... a historic pizzeria in Monopoli Nord, with seating both inside and on the veranda, spacious, and easy parking... it's a shame its 'history' is coming to an end... but with best wishes to the owner, who has always been kind and friendly, and a special thank you for all these years. 27/04/2025: The food is good, especially the kebab and squid, the pizza is also ok. Parents with children will find something for themselves. No non-alcoholic beer and an atmosphere reminiscent of Mussolini's times;)

26/08/2025: A beautiful place, without a doubt; with a large area where you can eat outside and enjoy the atmosphere, and why not, a gentle breeze that occasionally blows through. Moving on to the food, the fish starters are good, and I'm sure the meat ones are, too (perhaps the speck in one of the two dishes was just a little too brown). The prices don't dampen your appetite, which is instead satisfied by the generous portions! Courtesy and attentiveness complement the attentive service. Overall, a high rating and the idea of ​​returning, or even a recommendation, to stop at "La Vecchia Posta" conclude this review.

20/07/2025: A very charming restaurant in the open countryside, run by very kind and attentive staff. The food is excellent, especially the mixed seafood appetizers, grilled octopus, grilled shellfish, and generously portioned side dishes. We visited twice in four days. Excellent value. 18/07/2025: Following a recommendation we came here today, July 18, to have a early dinner. According to what we read in the Internet, it should be opening at 6:30 pm. We arrived there 6:40 and no one was actually there and we were the only clients. Approaching the inner area a waiter came by and answered my question: hi, are you open? as follows: we only open at 7pm and we are anyway booked out. A very gentle manner to send us away. I can imagine that they might be booked out but knowing that this is a restaurant outside in the middle of nowhere it should be mostly visited by locals who usually do not go to dinner before 9 pm. So, why not trying some customer friendly behavior and trying to keep us there, telling that time would be limited? No way, I did not even have the feeling they wanted tourists. Maybe this message could wake up anybody in this location, hoping that other potential customers do not have the same experience as we had today (travelling 30 Kil x 2) and being just send away..

07/09/2025: I ordered a Caesar salad of deplorable quality: no attention paid to the presentation or the ingredients. As if that weren't enough, one of the waitresses asked me to justify why I found it bad, in a rude tone, insisting that it was me who was mistaken and that the dish was excellent... A frankly unacceptable attitude. The service was very slow, and even the appetizers (drinks as well as a charcuterie and cheese platter to share) were of mediocre quality. Overall, a disappointing experience that I absolutely do not recommend.

21/08/2025: I live a kilometer from the pizzeria. I call and order two pizzas cut into slices for home delivery. Luckily, before hanging up, I ask the final price: €27.50! On the menu I found online, my pizzas were €9 and €9.50. They're sorry, there have been price increases and they'll try to adjust the online prices as well. My pizzas are €12. I could have given up right there, no one was forcing me, but I continue. I ask to exchange one pizza, opting for a €10 Capricciosa. 40 minutes for delivery, and they were precise about that. The courier arrives. The pizza box on top is covered in handfuls of grease, the smeared receipts are stuck to the packaging by the grease. I grab it from underneath: the corners are moist, I ask, what's going on? The guy: Hey, they're fresh pizzas! I open the boxes: none of the pizzas are cut into slices. The pizzas are very thin. I open the second box, the one below. The pizza is stuck to the packaging. There are peppers and asparagus (?), which I don't like. Reading the menu, I see that it's the Quattro Stagioni. In short, for having ordered two pizzas, without any modifications or anything, sliced, and living a kilometer away, I expected a little better. I received a similar pizza, but the wrong one, the pizzas unsliced, and the packaging greasy. For the money I chose to pay, more needs to be done.

21/08/2025: The pizza is good...but if you ask for a beer, you have to ask for it three times and it arrives after 15 minutes (after the pizza is finished). You ask for three coffees and only two arrive. The inside is hot...too hot. Too bad. Reservations are required.

19/08/2025: We sat down at 8:30 PM, ordered a portion of fries, two pizzas, and a sliced ​​steak at 8:40 PM (for which we would have had to wait an hour). The fries were delivered at 9:25 PM, and at 9:43 PM, after two reminders to the staff on duty, the pizzas arrived. VERY, VERY POOR SERVICE.

23/07/2025: Slow service Pizza not particularly good, we've had better. Very kitschy and chaotic atmosphere. If you want to drink Coca-Cola, you won't find it here. I'll explain the 🌟 given, given the owner's response, I believe. 1. The service... 15 minutes for the menu... being a Wednesday, the pizzeria wasn't crowded. My son ordered Coca-Cola, and they didn't mention that they don't serve the "well-known Coca-Cola," but a craft Cola. It would have been fair to say so, since he didn't drink it because he didn't like it. 2. The pizza... chewy dough, and 2 arrived lukewarm... mozzarella not the best... watery. 3. The atmosphere is deceitful, but I don't have to justify myself here. We didn't like the veranda, but they sat us there without indicating the inside dining area. I certainly think it's positive that the owner (I think) responds to criticism, but criticism must be respected and serves to improve... you will never please everyone... and I think it's my right to give a 🌟 if I didn't have a good experience.

22/07/2025: We visited Il Bruco in Iseo, and overall the experience was very positive. The place is well-maintained, with well-organized spaces, although the spacing between tables could be slightly improved. The pizza is good, with a well-leavened dough and quality ingredients, although not exactly unforgettable. The highlight, however, is undoubtedly the 2-for-1 promotion on pizza, which is truly convenient (the cheapest one is free): a great way to spend an evening with friends or as a couple without breaking the bank. Excellent service: the waitresses were kind, quick, and very helpful, always smiling. A significant plus. Overall, we definitely recommend trying it: pleasant atmosphere, impeccable service, and a concept that works. We'll gladly return!
