22/08/2025: We ordered a Ceviche and a Zucchini pasta. What we got had nothing to do with what was promised on the menu. Instead of ceviche, I was served a fish carpaccio with fruit and soy sauce on the side — basically sashimi. Fresh fish, yes, but no vinaigrette, no seasoning, just a splash of passion fruit. When I asked if they even knew what a “leche de tigre” was (the essential base of any real ceviche), they had no idea. That explained everything. When I challenged the manager, he tried to pass it off as a “revisited ceviche.” That’s not creativity — that’s ignorance dressed up as innovation The Zucchini pasta was even worse: it tasted like pure shellfish with a couple of zucchini slices thrown in. The flavor was so overpowering... The only logical explanation? They didn’t even bother to wash the pans. It was careless, sloppy cooking at its worst. One of the servers admitted we were right, but the manager’s response was dismissive and insulting. Excuses instead of accountablity. This place wastes good ingredients with terrible execution and even worse management. If you’re expecting what you order, you’ll be disappointed.

04/09/2025: I can only review the tiramisu, and it's probably the best I've ever had. The view is the perfect complement to the tiramisu.

31/07/2025: Pizzeria Reginella in Sarno is a true destination for lovers of light, thin-crust Neapolitan pizza. Every bite is an explosion of flavor: the dough is fragrant yet light, well-leavened, highly digestible, and impeccably cooked to highlight the quality of the ingredients. The unique flavor of the pizzas, the result of carefully selected ingredients and artisanal craftsmanship, makes for a truly memorable dining experience. Strengths include: • Light, thin-crust, and delicious pizza • Easily digestible and well-cooked dough • Fresh, expertly paired ingredients However, there are some areas for improvement. The restaurant, while well-maintained, is rather cramped, with tables very close together, which can make the atmosphere a bit stuffy, especially on busy evenings. Furthermore, the acoustics don't help: the general buzz tends to echo, making it difficult to chat or talk on the phone. Added to this is the lack of convenient parking, which can make getting there difficult, especially on busy days. Reginella is a must-visit for anyone looking for excellent pizza in Sarno, but greater attention to soundproofing the restaurant and a solution, even partial, to the parking problem would be desirable.

31/07/2025: Overall the pizza is delicious and seeing the cooking and preparation process is beautiful. The service is a little slow if there are a lot of people and they don't cut the pizzas.

22/05/2025: Pizzeria leader of the Tuscolano quadrant I ordered a round amatriciana pizza, truly spectacular, fresh and good ingredients that all stood out. The supplì alla tennent's was also excellent :) The rider was kind and professional, nothing to say Highly recommended

18/07/2025: Easiest 5 stars. We came here without expecting much looking at other reviews, were we in for a treat! The host is a sort of Italian Robin Williams combining a unique dynamic flair, easy hospitality and personal interaction. This seems to reflect in the food that is not just tasty, made and presented with attention but also engaging and interesting. Loved the spaghetti with black garlic, and the pasta with goulash was to die for. Not to mention the lasagnetta with pesto and pea sprouts on top. Served with excellent local Vitovska wine and an excellent tiramisu this lunch approaches what is for me the perfect restaurant experience.

13/09/2025: The orecchiette with cime di rapa were disappointing. The come di rapa were blended into a smooth cream that didn't taste like much and removed the nice texture that cime di rapa usually adds. The dish was a little bland overall, lacking salt and perhaps a touch of peperoncino. The pizzas were generally decent, and pasta with meat ragu was pretty solid too. The Tiramisù didn't have the biscuits soaked in espresso and had Nutella in it so was not a traditional tiramisu as you'd expect. The mascarpone cream lacked lightness and was very heavy. Overall, the dish ended up being too sweet and too heavy, lacking the bitter notes that usually complement the sweeter flavours. The food and drinks all came quickly. Slightly untypically quickly for Italy. Very nice place to sit outside but a touristic restaurant with service and prices in line with that.

12/09/2025: Very unfriendly. We'd been waiting 20 minutes for a table. A waiter told us to sit at an outside table, but the manager suddenly told him we should go inside. We asked him why, and he laughed in our faces.

29/05/2025: Wide selection of both sweet and savory at fair and honest prices (one of the few) If I have to go for breakfast or buy some pastries I definitely choose it over others. Very welcoming renovated environment. Super friendly and helpful owner.

We specifically requested a millefeuille, confirming our willingness to pay for any additional weight, and we paid the full amount in advance with enthusiasm and trust in your professionalism. On the day of the celebration, at the moment of cutting, to our great surprise and disappointment, we discovered that the cake was not a millefeuille as agreed, but rather a simple sponge cake. This caused some embarrassment among our guests, to whom we had joyfully anticipated the arrival of a millefeuille, creating an expectation that unfortunately was not fulfilled. We understand that mistakes can happen, and we appreciate your apology. However, given the importance of the occasion and the significant discrepancy between the order placed and the product received, we would have liked a more concrete gesture to demonstrate your sincere regret. A partial refund or a small discount on a future order would have been tangible signs of customer care and a willingness to remedy the inconvenience caused. 29/06/2025: We just fancied something simple to take back to our hotel balcony for a chilled evening after a busy day out and all the various resturants we had tried previously. We didnt know what to expect but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I know its only a pizza and chips but it just goes to show that simple food, sensibly priced and cooked well can beat many of the up market places if done with pride. Well done. Give it a try!

07/08/2025: Tried it recently. Pizza with a regular dough made with 50% flour and 50% semolina. A simple dough but with fresh ingredients. The location is neat and clean, but nothing special. The pizzeria is always busy, so I recommend calling ahead. Even for takeout, I recommend going in person. The idea of filling the place with citronella to ward off mosquitoes is a great one. The only downside is the prices. I'm sorry, but the price doesn't match the pizza I picked up. The dough is too simple to cost so much.
