20/07/2025: Unfortunately, the pizza was very heavy and we couldn't stomach it. The service was quite slow, and they forgot to bring us a pizza, so one person ate later. The dessert was too sweet. It's a shame, but we hope it goes better next time.

31/08/2025: The pizzas I've eaten there, even though it's a takeout pizzeria, are a bit larger. But the exceptional thing is, beyond the wide selection, the quality of the ingredients. The prices are also lower, as there's no table service. It's a shame I don't live nearby because it's really worth it.

25/08/2025: One of the best pizzerias ever, without a doubt! Every time I return, I'm always satisfied with both the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff is truly kind and helpful, always ready to accommodate customers' needs with a smile and a courtesy that is not so easy to find these days. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas, all made with fresh, authentic ingredients and cooked to perfection. The dough is light, easy to digest, and has that touch of crunch that makes all the difference. The option of eating in or ordering takeout is a great advantage. Another aspect worth highlighting is the prices, which are truly fair! In a time when you can often find outrageous prices for even just a pizza, here you can enjoy an excellent product without having to spend too much. This detail, combined with the courtesy of the staff and the excellent quality, makes the pizzeria a reference point that I highly recommend to anyone who loves to eat well and feel at ease. In short, a place worth exploring and experiencing for its quality, affordability, and impeccable hospitality. I highly recommend it!

From your arrival to your final greeting, the staff is attentive to offer a welcoming and friendly experience unlike any other in Alghero. The price is extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food and service received. The location offers a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy the finest food. La Pergola is highly recommended for anyone visiting Alghero for business or pleasure.

02/09/2025: We actually only wanted to eat here once. But we ended up enjoying our landlady's favorite restaurant so much that we came here every evening! Gennaro, Maria, Daniele, and the team are passionate about their work, offer a great selection of food and wine, and deliver high quality. We've always enjoyed coming here.

19/07/2025: What can I say... It was a fabulous discovery, and above all, I've never had such a good, albeit very unusual, pizza. A cross between a pan pizza and a pinsa, a very light, delicious dough with excellent toppings and a good selection on the menu. For those still hungry, I recommend trying the Chef's "fuzion" creations: truly delicious combinations. It's now become a regular stop when I go downtown.

02/06/2025: We come back periodically and the quality of the food is always high, this time we tried the "scrocchiarella" pizza, really good and digestible, the other dishes are also excellent, from risottos to pastas, fish, fried foods....etc.; obviously the welcome and attention of the staff are to be highlighted positively. The environment is beautiful. We will definitely return.👍

29/07/2025: Relax and enjoy. I had the opportunity to stop for an aperitif and everything was perfect. The staff was polite and friendly; the aperitif was plentiful and very tasty at a fair price, and the setting was very well maintained, overlooking Piazza Annunziata in the heart of Venaria Reale's historic center.

01/09/2025: My wife and I came for a Sunday dinner to celebrate our last day on vacation in the area. This was the most expensive and bland meal we had in the area. Our waiter Tom made a mistake and brought us a different meal than we ordered. I tried to catch his eye to let him know but several minutes went by and it became uncomfortable to have our food just sitting there so I began to eat it anyway. After several more minutes I caught Philip’s attention and asked him what the plate was. He explained in detail, and then I let him know it is not what we ordered. By this time our drinks and meal were half consumed. Phillip asked if he could bring the correct meal . I tried to not make my wife more uncomfortable by saying it was okay and we will keep it. The conversation did make her uncomfortable and I did not want to create a scene so we just dropped it. I would have thought the owner would offer a drink or desert to make up for it, but Phillip did not. When we returned to our hotel I called Phillip to personally let him know we had a bad experience at his restaurant. I spoke with both Tom the waiter and Phillip the owner. Yes, mistakes happen and no one is perfect. I am writing this review because I don’t think the owner cared what kind of experience we had.

07/09/2025: Everything from start to finish was incredible. As a native Sicilian, finding authentic Sicilian dishes in Taormina is very difficult. We were wandering the streets when we met Nibir who greeted us with a smile and a very warm welcome. We soon met Anjura whose family owns Gambero Rosso. She was kind and truly felt like family from the moment we met her. The linguine pescatore was the best I’ve ever had. The service was beyond exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond. I truly cannot wait to come back a domani! A great and genuine experience!
