02/11/2025: The grandfather owner is so hilarious and nice. Food were above the noms. Will visit this restaurant again!!

26/10/2025: Not impressive. Don't get the beef tenderloin, a meager piece of meat lost in its sauce. Not appetizing. Too expensive for what it was.

23/10/2025: La Mirella was once a historic restaurant where every visit was a pleasure: fresh food, carefully prepared dishes, and Signora Mirella's pleasant company made the experience truly special. Unfortunately, with the change of management, all of this seems a thing of the past. The quality of the food has drastically declined: the panna cotta served like a piece cut and thrown on the plate, the four-cheese pizza completely melted, the mascarpone lacking flavor and a poorly whipped egg, the coffee sorbet served warm—all far from the standards of the past. Even the fish appetizer is no longer the fresh and tasty we remembered, but reduced to tasteless surimi, comparable to supermarket seafood sausages. It's clear that they're trying to save money at the expense of quality, but by doing so, they're losing loyal customers and ruining the reputation of a historic establishment. A real shame: what was once a pleasant and welcoming place has now become a place to avoid.

05/10/2025: Nothing special. I also found it expensive: we waited about 20 minutes for the pizza. The menu isn't very varied, so don't count on mussels or fish. There are cheaper and better places.

18/09/2025: We ate "octopus with pesto sauce" as an appetizer, "tortellino crema di parmigiano e zafferani" and "pizza parmigiano" for the main course, everything was very good, the portions are okay! At the end of our lunch, our excellent waiter (Michele) suggested a "pistachio cheesecake" which blended perfectly with the other flavors of the dish and the homemade Pignoletto sparkling wine! We will be back again!

05/10/2025: I had the pleasure of trying this restaurant for a birthday party. The staff was truly friendly and always available. The atmosphere was welcoming to everyone, with good food and especially excellent desserts. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

28/09/2025: I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance, but I have a few criticisms. First of all, I ordered the "Ventaglio di mare" appetizer, which was all good, except for the fact that I didn't like the surimi in the seafood salad portion, which gave me the impression of frozen rather than fresh produce. The marinated anchovies tasted too much like vinegar; otherwise, I wasn't entirely satisfied. Another diner ordered the tuna tartar, but it had too much oil and lemon; it should be plain to fully appreciate the flavor of the fish. It's up to the diner to add whatever they want, if they want. The raw fish with fried gnocco was excellent, while the fried gnocco could be better. The swordfish was excellent and cooked to perfection, and the grilled cuttlefish was good but nothing special. The staff was friendly and efficient, and there was nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was very casual, and the food was good for people with no expectations. In conclusion, I enjoyed it, but not entirely satisfied.

20/10/2025: We had an excellent experience here; none of the criticisms mentioned in the reviews were accurate. Lovely ambiance, plenty of space, very friendly staff, all the food was of very high quality and delicious, the ice cream (especially the olive oil variety) was excellent, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars!

22/10/2025: I'm a longtime friend of Franco and his amazing team, and since I live right here in Loria, I can tell you that the first choice here for festive occasions over a delicious pizza with friends or for an excellent meal is ALWAYS "Al Ponte Levatoio." The quality and deliciousness of the dishes is fabulous, the atmosphere is welcoming, simple, and with an old-fashioned feel: pleasant. The welcome and service are distinguished by their warmth and innate friendliness. This place is esteemed and LOVED even by the locals, so you know that this is not a given, and that the locals are the strictest and most credible "judges." A well-deserved five stars. Last night it was super crowded, everyone was in a rush, and despite that, the food was served without long waits and was delicious, as always. The wait staff was always courteous and smiling (which isn't a given when you're rushed, under pressure, and tired after hours of work). 11/11/2025: The staff were truly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the service was quick. We arrived late, but they seated us right away. We had a house appetizer and three first courses, all delicious and well-priced. A rustic yet pleasant location that makes you feel at home. Recommended!

If we then add the kindness, courtesy, hospitality, and professionalism of the staff in their service and hospitality, the result is truly excellent!! Traditional food, but not predictable: everything is carefully prepared and beautifully served! The pasta is all homemade, the rabbit is cooked in a wood-fired oven, the pizza is well-made... all for a very, very fair quality-price ratio!! 💯 It's truly a great time! With family! 🤩 Braviiii!!!
