06/04/2026: A good place to stop in downtown Vercelli. It has an outdoor seating area, while the restaurant is located upstairs, above the bookstore. Excellent salmon toast and good service.

The food was excellent, the place was clean and tidy, the service was quick despite it being busy, and the staff was all kind and friendly. It was a great experience. I don't understand those who left negative reviews about things I absolutely didn't experience. I'll definitely be back for dinner on my next business trip.

27/12/2025: I was with my family, poorly organized is an understatement, it's unclear how it works. Usually in shelters, in all the ones I've been to, you go inside and order, here you go inside and start ordering, then they tell you it's better to go outside to the totem and order, exorbitant prices, while you're ordering at the totem, we ask if we can sit inside to eat, yes there's a table free for an hour, a girl who works there replies, okay we go inside they tell us there isn't one, outside tables without mushrooms, at least they can heat it up a bit, after half an hour of all this cinema we left, away......never again.

01/05/2026: Ma Bro Tony Sushi is a small Japanese restaurant in the center of Varallo Sesia. The owner is very kind and extremely good at what he does. To eat in or order takeout, you must make a reservation. You should let us know your order the day before, ensuring the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The menu isn't extensive, but it contains all the must-haves of Japanese cuisine, with a touch of fusion. The sushi is very well made, with a good fish-to-rice ratio, allowing you to taste the quality of the ingredients. The highlight, however, were the gyoza, with their incredibly thin hand-rolled noodles and irresistible sauce—truly mouth-watering. The service was a bit chaotic (he forgot the pieces), but the owner was really kind, so we'll overlook that. I recommend trying it at least once!

23/04/2026: The place is nicely decorated, there is room for 6 diners and they sit at the bar, but we were very disappointed that the food is prepared in bags in advance and he simply boils water and puts the prepared bag in and adds some sauce and that's it, you can just as easily buy the ingredients at the supermarket and prepare it at home, a big disappointment! The only thing he does prepare on site and also looks good is sushi, the prices are very high compared to the town, for example a pizza tray at a pizzeria costs the same as one roll of gyoza thawed from the freezer

19/05/2026: I must have been having a bad day, but they started saying there was a change on the menu and then came up with: the salmon trout isn't salmon, the venison I don't remember isn't venison but something else, and another change I don't remember. Oh well, at least they warned us, so I ordered a priest's hat with polenta and was told that the last one had been given to the man next door, so the priest's hat was sold out and they'd give me the veal tip. I said okay, but the meat arrived, tough and inedible, full of sinew, all while 4 or 5 flies kept circling my plate. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend it and I don't think I'll go back.

12/04/2026: Weekend in Scopello with friends, and for dinner we opted for takeout pizza at this historic establishment that doubles as a bar, restaurant, and pizzeria. The pizzas were prepared on time and reasonably priced. They were delicious, filling, and filling. My only complaint was that they were supposed to have burrata, but they only had buffalo mozzarella, and it was a bit greasy from the mushrooms, which perhaps hadn't been drained properly.

17/12/2025: We booked for a quick business lunch. The atmosphere is a bit dated but well-maintained. The dishes were well-presented and the food was quality.

16/05/2026: Don't ask for bread or you'll pay €2! The beer was awful, €7. The waitress's friendliness was nonexistent. We ordered fries to go with our meal, and they arrived after we'd finished eating. We refused them, but to our surprise, we were still charged. Luckily, we checked the bill to get them removed.

04/05/2026: Highly recommended. Quite centrally located, quiet atmosphere, the food was traditional and very good, and it has the feel of a family-run business. Prices were perfect (1/4 liter of wine = €2.50; I paid a total of €33 for antipasto + pasta + second course + coffee + wine). They have a page of daily specials; it's best to just ask the waiter for recommendations. Hardly any tourists, attentive service. I'll definitely come back next time.
