13/06/2026: THE BEST ICE CREAM IN THE AREA AND MORE!!! For a year now, I've been frequenting this ice cream shop with my family, and it's almost become an addiction. The difference lies in the excellent ingredients the owner uses, and of course, her skill in preparing the vast variety of ice creams she offers. The display case always features a variety of ice cream flavors, and each month features a "ice cream of the month." The display case is visually harmonious and beautifully color-matched. She also offers other flavors, which are found in a well-shaped counter behind the main display. Beyond ice cream, the selection is varied: you can enjoy excellent Sicilian granitas with unique flavors, a truly delicious yogurt, Sicilian cannoli filled on the spot that very few people know how to make, crepes, and waffles. In the winter, you can also enjoy an excellent hot chocolate with cream, also delicious. The owner has always been extremely kind and helpful to everyone!!! If you want to enjoy excellent ice cream and more, I highly recommend it!!!

01/05/2026: Ma Bro Tony Sushi is a small Japanese restaurant in the center of Varallo Sesia. The owner is very kind and extremely good at what he does. To eat in or order takeout, you must make a reservation. You should let us know your order the day before, ensuring the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The menu isn't extensive, but it contains all the must-haves of Japanese cuisine, with a touch of fusion. The sushi is very well made, with a good fish-to-rice ratio, allowing you to taste the quality of the ingredients. The highlight, however, were the gyoza, with their incredibly thin hand-rolled noodles and irresistible sauce—truly mouth-watering. The service was a bit chaotic (he forgot the pieces), but the owner was really kind, so we'll overlook that. I recommend trying it at least once!

23/04/2026: The place is nicely decorated, there is room for 6 diners and they sit at the bar, but we were very disappointed that the food is prepared in bags in advance and he simply boils water and puts the prepared bag in and adds some sauce and that's it, you can just as easily buy the ingredients at the supermarket and prepare it at home, a big disappointment! The only thing he does prepare on site and also looks good is sushi, the prices are very high compared to the town, for example a pizza tray at a pizzeria costs the same as one roll of gyoza thawed from the freezer

22/04/2026: If you want some advice, go to another pizzeria. I had a bad experience. They make you a burnt pizza, the dough is old and the rest is not good either. The price is very high and then it's thrown away. No, no, never again. From my side, a 0 review.

01/03/2026: Me and my friend were there every night (7 nights) and played cards for hours, partied w the bartender and everything in between. The workers and the owner were really kind and genuine, the prices were exceptional, and the atmosphere was great (what kind of atmosphere it is depends on the time of the week). Would highly recommend! Prob the best bar in Alagna.

16/05/2026: Don't ask for bread or you'll pay €2! The beer was awful, €7. The waitress's friendliness was nonexistent. We ordered fries to go with our meal, and they arrived after we'd finished eating. We refused them, but to our surprise, we were still charged. Luckily, we checked the bill to get them removed.

04/05/2026: Highly recommended. Quite centrally located, quiet atmosphere, the food was traditional and very good, and it has the feel of a family-run business. Prices were perfect (1/4 liter of wine = €2.50; I paid a total of €33 for antipasto + pasta + second course + coffee + wine). They have a page of daily specials; it's best to just ask the waiter for recommendations. Hardly any tourists, attentive service. I'll definitely come back next time.
