17/03/2026: We were at the restaurant. Everything was very fast, the service was friendly. Very tasty meat and beer.

18/02/2026: Apres ski. Indoors when it snows. Outdoors when the sun shines. DJ beats, beer, chips, nuts, pizza. Friendly service. What more could you ask for? A great way to end a day of skiing.

30/11/2025: Great place to stop for a hot meal on the hike to the peaks. Reasonable prices. They don't have Satispay, but they do accept credit cards. The South American waitress was friendly and helpful!

21/07/2025: We booked an aperitif dinner for 15 people two weeks in advance for 7:30/8:00 PM. On the appointed day, at 6:30 PM, the owner called us in a very rude and impolite manner, slurring his words, and claimed they'd canceled a birthday party and were closing and going home because it wouldn't be convenient for them to only be open for 15 people, forcing us to hastily find another place. What can I say? Kudos to you for your professionalism!

04/04/2026: squalid experience, incompetent and rude staff, I got a toast that looked like a brick (my 5 year old brother makes them better), the food in general is of poor quality, you only get by because you are in the middle of the mountains and there are practically only you, the Triplex at cartoggi gives you three turns

28/03/2026: We went for lunch after a long day of skiing and they took great care of us—it was surprisingly fast, too. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I’d definitely go back!

22/02/2026: Fabulous restaurant. Our favourite up on the mountain. We had lunch as a party of 5 three times and tried lots from the menu. The pizzas are delicious, the nicest we ate on our trip to Sauze, the sausage and mushroom pasta was fab, the gnocchi too. The schnitzel was the stand out favourite for the boys by far! Stefano and Salvatore were the perfect hosts and all of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Great white wine, fabulous Aperol spritz and the limoncello finished the week off nicely. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back next time we are in Sauze.

13/02/2026: Peep poor service We were at the restaurant and not the hotel We told the lady when we arrived at the restaurant that we were ready to order: But she said we had to sit down first and then she would come down to us. We sat down and she never came, we went up to get her after 10 minutes and then she said she would probably come right away but she didn't we waited another 10 minutes and then she finally came… The waiter couldn't speak a word of English and couldn't even read their own menu…. Hopeless service The food was mediocre but shut up how bad is this Not recommended They are a disgrace compared to all the other good Italian restaurants

08/03/2026: Welcoming place, friendly and attentive staff. In the main room, there's a grill where the meat is expertly cooked to order. A wide selection on the menu, including wines. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!

07/03/2026: The risotto was also good, but... A smile to the customer who enters is a must; the registry office is more friendly; feeling people staring at you while you're eating because you have nothing to do isn't good, I felt uncomfortable, a lot of cringe; The lady (the mother) is smiling, but her children aren't; they can do other jobs, customers aren't taken for granted... and do smile; talking badly about other customers while you're tapping the receipt is a no-no, because I think you'll do the same to me. Kids, learn from your mother. We won't be back, bye.

13/08/2025: Yesterday I returned to the Derby and experienced the change in management. The service girls began by saying, "We're great at drinks." They brought me the list. Of the drinks invented by the bar, there weren't even two I would have tried. A chapter on the gin and tonic. The worst thing I've ever had!! And it takes a lot to make a mistake with a gin and tonic. They basically served me a lemonade. I asked for gin, which they charged me for, and the taste didn't change. I left it there after paying 12 euros plus the gin. Friends joined us for dinner. My son asked for Fanta, which wasn't available, and got a Sprite, which he left there because he said it was flat. My boyfriend got a Cuba Libre, which was a Coke without rum. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND APERITIF THERE.

04/04/2026: The restaurant looks inviting but it was a real disappointment. I thought any pizzeria in Italy would be a hit. Our pizza was equivalent to a frozen supermarket pizza. Small in size, thick white base, covered with tomato puree, the burrata was small in the middle of the pizza & my husband & I agreed that it was low quality, more like Philadelphia cream cheese. Two small basil leaves were added which was laughable when the description of the pizza was with basil rather than it being a garnish. The upside was we did laugh a lot at what we were eating and we put it down to experience. If you decide to go after reading this, I would strongly recommend trying to see what others are eating before ordering.

26/03/2026: One of the best places in Sauze D’Olux for drinks, food and music! Every night they have a live band/singer on. We visited here several times during our trip, and both times the music was fantastic. The band always gets the audience involved, and the song choices are always fun and enjoyable. English is spoken each time, so dont worry if you do not speak Italian! Staff are all friendly, professional and welcoming. Both times we visited we didn’t have a booking, and both times they managed to accommodate our group of 8 without an issue (even though the place was busy both nights)
Drinks are cheap, and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend the burgers, it’s one of their specialties. The pasta is also good, and if you’re feeling adventurous, the sharing steak is also incredible. This is one of the best places in Sauze D’Olux for food, drinks and atmosphere, we highly recommend a visit!

23/03/2026: Had 2 very different nights here. Watched a 4 piece band and had some drinks and the night was excellent. Band really good and atmosphere was great and audience all singing along. Went again 2 nights later hoping for similar but it was a male 'singer' who was distinctly cabaret and not very good so we left. Good range of drinks and table service. Overall was good but entertainment was variable in my experience.

19/02/2026: The variable price based on availability makes it seem like they're taking advantage of us, offering five-star prices but lacking the amenities: bathroom without shelves in the shower, very few cleaning products, no daily towel change, empty minibar, no way to contact reception except with your cell phone. I'd also add misleading advertising about a spa on the premises: there is one, but it's outside the hotel and under a different management. Avoid.

16/02/2026: Pros: The rooms are renovated. The food is decent. The location is pleasant. Cons: There is no kettle in the room - you cannot make a tea or anything warm to drink. The hotel is very popular with young groups, which is a problem because they are extremely loud — shouting, running around, and playing loud music. After a day of skiing, you return to your room and from 4 p.m. until late at night you can hear everything happening in the corridors. In the restaurant, the teenage groups are so noisy that you just want to leave as soon as possible. And this happens every single day. So, if you’re not 16 years old — it’s better to avoid this place.
