02/05/2026: Finally, an authentic old-fashioned pub. These days, they're rare. Everything was perfect! The food, the beer, the location, and the music! Thanks for existing.

05/02/2026: Make the effort to get to this pub if your are looking for a retro atmosphere. The two ladies who run it are excellent. It not as popular as the really busy bars in the town but that adds to its own charm.

09/04/2026: Small nice hotel with very friendly staff. It was good and tasty breakfast. A good three course dinner was served. When we were there there was enough snow so we had ski in ski out.

17/03/2026: We were at the restaurant. Everything was very fast, the service was friendly. Very tasty meat and beer.

06/04/2026: This restaurant is located right on the ski slopes of Sauze d'Oulx, in the upper part of the town. It's truly ideal for a lunch break between ski runs or to spend the day relaxing under the beautiful sun, like we did today. Surrounded by the mountain scenery, you can enjoy delicious dishes, such as a mix of Piedmontese antipasti, platters of locally sourced cured meats and cheeses, various types of polenta, and the tartiflette, which I found truly amazing. The restaurant, which also serves as a hotel, is family-run with extremely courteous and attentive staff. This historic local business is a definite must-see for all holidaymakers.

10/03/2026: Thank you for an excellent stay! Our group of 11 friends and family stayed for one week and all had a brilliant holiday. Highly recommend! Nicolo and team ensured we were fully looked after. The chalet has about 10 rooms, all very similar, comfortable and clean. There’s a good sized boot and ski room that’s lockable, great sun-soaked terrace for an Apres ski drink, good sized restaurant serving authentic local food (including great pizzas) and a hearty continental breakfast. Good value for money. Ideally located by the home-run piste, it couldn’t be more ski-in, ski-out! A highlight was a surprise trip to their partnering restaurant on the slopes, via skidoo, for one of our evening dinners.

24/02/2026: We sat at the caffe. Once the waitrees (maybe she is the owner's wife) understood where we are from she statrted cursing, hitting the table, rabbing her face on our celulars (!). We tried to talk and calm her down then tried to ignore but nothing worked. So we had to leave. I told the owner what happened but he did not apologize nor offered any solution or refund.

10/04/2026: A good place for lunch or tea while skiing

06/03/2026: Good food, surprisingly spacious also on week 8. Locals dont seem to do after ski in the slope, we were only customers after four.

28/06/2026: A very disappointing experience at this place. We were sent away shortly after 2:30 PM on the grounds that the kitchen was closed, even though many tables were still being served and hot dishes were being served. One of the staff, a blonde Eastern European woman, was unhelpful and very rude and impolite. We then returned about an hour later just to ask if it was possible to have at least a quick toast, but she again said no, while another colleague, much kinder and more understanding, told us that it would be possible to prepare one without any problems. Only after a discussion between them, were we finally allowed to sit. Despite this, we noticed that the next table was still being served hot dishes, which made the experience less than coherent. The only positive note: the helpfulness of one of the waitresses, who tried to accommodate us. The owner should be aware of all this, and of the rudeness of one of his employees (a blonde Eastern European woman).

04/04/2026: squalid experience, incompetent and rude staff, I got a toast that looked like a brick (my 5 year old brother makes them better), the food in general is of poor quality, you only get by because you are in the middle of the mountains and there are practically only you, the Triplex at cartoggi gives you three turns

07/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! A truly beautiful place, with professional and friendly staff. We ate outside on the terrace, it was spectacular!

08/03/2026: Welcoming place, friendly and attentive staff. In the main room, there's a grill where the meat is expertly cooked to order. A wide selection on the menu, including wines. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!
