07/12/2025: We were truly satisfied! The staff was helpful and friendly from the start. The food was excellent, with attention to detail and quality ingredients. At the end of the evening, they even gave us an unexpected discount, which was much appreciated. Recommended!

18/03/2026: Food was great we had a party of 8 we all shared some of the pasta dishes all tasted great I had the boar one it tased nice but I found the pasta a bit too thick for my liking but all my other family enjoyed it. Would recommend for a good meal out just make sure to book a table cause it fills up fast

08/03/2026: The fish and cuisine were good, and above all, they were very careful about gluten-free options and offered a variety of lactose-free options. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a bit dated but welcoming, and we paid €120 for four people, including two people sharing an appetizer and a main course each—fairly reasonable.

14/03/2026: The perfect spot for a drink after skiing. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and always smiling 😊. They're generous and offer excellent local products! We had the small mixed platter for €20. The cheeses and charcuterie were superb. The small terrace is sunny in the late afternoon until the sun dips behind the mountains. A must-try!
02/03/2026: A very beautiful place, all in solid wood, with exquisitely kind and attentive owners and top-quality products. The wait can sometimes be a bit long for a quick breakfast.

05/02/2026: Make the effort to get to this pub if your are looking for a retro atmosphere. The two ladies who run it are excellent. It not as popular as the really busy bars in the town but that adds to its own charm.

Excellent staff with great sense of humor. They will make you feel like home.
Definitely recommend for a fun night out after skiing.

06/04/2026: This restaurant is located right on the ski slopes of Sauze d'Oulx, in the upper part of the town. It's truly ideal for a lunch break between ski runs or to spend the day relaxing under the beautiful sun, like we did today. Surrounded by the mountain scenery, you can enjoy delicious dishes, such as a mix of Piedmontese antipasti, platters of locally sourced cured meats and cheeses, various types of polenta, and the tartiflette, which I found truly amazing. The restaurant, which also serves as a hotel, is family-run with extremely courteous and attentive staff. This historic local business is
a definite must-see for all holidaymakers.
10/03/2026: Thank you for an excellent stay! Our group of 11 friends and family stayed for one week and all had a brilliant holiday. Highly recommend! Nicolo and team ensured we were fully looked after. The chalet has about 10 rooms, all very similar, comfortable and clean. There’s a good sized boot and ski room that’s lockable, great sun-soaked terrace for an Apres ski drink, good sized restaurant serving authentic local food (including great pizzas) and a hearty continental breakfast. Good value for money. Ideally located by the home-run piste, it couldn’t be more ski-in, ski-out! A highlight was a surprise trip to their partnering restaurant on the slopes, via skidoo, for one of our evening dinners.

24/02/2026: We sat at the caffe. Once the waitrees (maybe she is the owner's wife) understood where we are from she statrted cursing, hitting the table, rabbing her face on our celulars (!). We tried to talk and calm her down then tried to ignore but nothing worked. So we had to leave.
I told the owner what happened but he did not apologize nor offered any solution or refund.

17/03/2026: We were at the restaurant. Everything was very fast, the service was friendly. Very tasty meat and beer.
18/02/2026: Apres ski. Indoors when it snows. Outdoors when the sun shines. DJ beats, beer, chips, nuts, pizza. Friendly service. What more could you ask for? A great way to end a day of skiing.

04/04/2026: squalid experience, incompetent and rude staff, I got a toast that looked like a brick (my 5 year old brother makes them better), the food in general is of poor quality, you only get by because you are in the middle of the mountains and there are practically only you, the Triplex at cartoggi gives you three turns
28/03/2026: We went for lunch after a long day of skiing and they took great care of us—it was surprisingly fast, too. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I’d definitely go back!

In the main room, there's a grill where the meat is expertly cooked to order.
A wide selection on the menu, including wines.
Excellent value for money.

A smile to the customer who enters is a must; the registry office is more friendly;
feeling people staring at you while you're eating because you have nothing to do isn't good, I felt uncomfortable, a lot of cringe;
The lady (the mother) is smiling, but her children aren't; they can do other jobs, customers aren't taken for granted... and do smile;
talking badly about other customers while you're tapping the receipt is a no-no, because I think you'll do the same to me.
Kids, learn from your mother. We won't be back, bye.
