02/01/2026: A very well-maintained and welcoming pub, with an inviting appearance and a traditional atmosphere that invites you to linger. Excellent parking and a convenient location, just a short distance from the center of Orta San Giulio. A good selection of beers and perfectly pub-style tables, ideal for an informal meeting or an evening with friends. The sandwich was authentic and made with quality ingredients: the piadina and vegetables tasted fresh and well-sourced, although overall the flavor was a bit delicate and lackluster. Truly excellent service, with attentive, helpful, and always present staff who make the difference and make the experience very pleasant. Overall, a recommended place, especially for the atmosphere, the beers, and the customer service.

25/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding reception here. The staff is super friendly, the service is great, and the location is fantastic because you can party until late. The view of Villa Crespi was also lovely, and they make great cocktails! A really nice place for a drink.

14/05/2026: A wide selection of restaurants like this one offering wine and charcuterie and cheese platters. The products are high quality, and the portions are generous (one platter is enough for two). There's also a wide selection of wines. The terrace, set back a bit from the main square, is pleasant and allows you to soak up the local atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, though a little high.

02/05/2026: We joined friends who were already seated at a table at 6:00 PM (the time the aperitif began). After ordering drinks and waiting a good half hour at the table for the aperitif, we inquired. We were told that since our friends had already been seated at the table earlier, the aperitif couldn't be served to us.

01/05/2026: My experience with this restaurant went something like this: "Hello, good morning, can we sit down?" "How many of you are there?" (There were two of us, clearly visible to the waiter). "There are two of us." The waiter nods, indicating the *empty* tables. He doesn't even say, "Please take a seat," or "Sure, go ahead." As soon as he nodded to us to sit down, we continued on and left. Goodbye.

27/04/2026: Everything was great, the pizzas were delicious, the staff were friendly, and above all, the prices were very reasonable, so I highly recommend it. However, it's best to book ahead, as the pizzeria is very popular.

09/05/2026: Restaurant in the central square, excellent lake view. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, excellent value. I recommend booking in advance to ensure a spot, especially during busy periods.

23/11/2025: Friendly staff but the food was poor quality, especially the pumpkin soup was more a ‘mash’. Focaccia was similar level to a 5€ sandwich.

10/10/2025: Nice ambiance, but that's about it. Apeol 13 euros. (As of 2025) The most expensive we've had in the area. There was nothing to go with it either. No chips, no olives. Never again. What a shame.

07/02/2026: HORRIBLE! Rude staff. We say hello (obviously without a response) and ask the waitress if we can sit at a table, but she responds with a huff and a huff in an annoyed and rude manner. So we move to the bar next door (where they were nice), and as we walk away, we hear the waitress loudly commenting on what happened with her colleague, using discriminatory and offensive terms.

06/05/2026: Pizzoccheri alla Valtellinese – good, under-seasoned, lacking sage. A modest portion. Shank with baked potatoes – tasted like pork, but differed significantly in size. Served Italian-style, without the burnt skin, but still delicious. Very good desserts: lemon tart and a delicious dark chocolate soufflé.
