10/01/2026: Disgraceful staff. Today we were served by a large, curly-haired, dark-haired guy with glasses. When we ordered, we insisted on putting mayonnaise on the piadina, since almost every time we went, they forgot to put it. The guy goes into the kitchen and yells at his colleague, "Make sure you use mayonnaise, we're idiots here." My daughter and I were truly devastated. I hope it doesn't happen again, and honestly, I'd advise you to choose your staff a little better.

10/12/2025: I've always wondered why, when I was walking down a crowded street, the piadina shop was always, and I mean, always, empty. I paid 3 euros for the chips. It's a shame I can't take a photo. There must be 10 of them. Managers and inspectors should check, because if a shop goes bankrupt, you are the ones primarily responsible.

08/01/2026: The drink was missing, everything was cold, and honestly, service like this cannot be acceptable from Mac. Never again.

21/11/2025: I'm leaving one star because zero isn't acceptable. I ordered three takeout pizzas: one with mixed fried fish, one with fries, and the last with potatoes and sausage, and I have to say that rarely in my life have I eaten so badly. Given that the cheese was spread thinly over the ingredients, the mixed fried fish on the pizza was not only subpar (consisting only of shrimp and calamari rings), but the fish hadn't even been cleaned. I don't think I have unrealistic expectations when I order a pizza with shrimp on top, assuming they're already cleaned. The sausage was also decidedly subpar. I feared it had gone bad, so I decided to remove it and continue eating. So, between the blocks of undistributed cheese and the poor ingredients, I think I can safely call this one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. Congratulations. I should also point out that the only reason I continued eating was because it was 11pm and I didn't have the energy to prepare anything else.

07/10/2025: The atmosphere was very noisy and not very clean, especially the restrooms. The service was extremely slow, and sometimes, despite the slowness, they even got the order wrong. My wife, my brother-in-law, my wife's sister, and I waited over an hour one Saturday night for two pizzas (not good) and two grilled meats (not good). The beer was awful, either bitter or overly flavored. Never again! Disgusting place!

22/11/2025: The shop isn't big, and there aren't many tables. Some seats are located outside on the roadside, which helps avoid the smell of the kitchen inside. Because there's relatively little traffic, it's also dust-free. I ordered a wrap; the filling was quite generous, and the price was reasonable. Although the taste wasn't particularly outstanding, it was a decent option for filling my stomach.

10/12/2025: Beautiful, expanding campsite near the lake. We stopped by to view it before going on holiday. The staff were friendly and dogs are allowed.

19/10/2025: Our recent stay at this campsite left us with mixed impressions. The location right on the lake was undeniably the highlight, offering beautiful views and easy access to the water—a perfect spot for relaxing by the shore. However, the surrounding area wasn't ideal, as there wasn't much of interest nearby. Unfortunately, the facilities felt tired and in my opinion are in need of an upgrade. On a positive note for families, the football pitch and the playground were excellent and proved very popular with our children. A major inconvenience arose at check-in: we were never reminded by the staff that we needed to pre-order sheets. Discovering this late was frustrating and something that could easily be avoided with a simple heads-up upon arrival. Finally, we felt the price point was quite expensive for what was offered, especially when comparing it to a higher-quality site we previously enjoyed at Lake Garda.

27/12/2025: Unfortunately, in the last year the quality of the food, the organization and the service have drastically declined, which is a shame because I felt at home, I have been a customer for almost 10 years, unfortunately I am re-evaluating and it is a shame.

26/12/2025: At this eatery you are served well and with tasty food. Choices include very passable Italian and Chinese, at a very low price point. Would definitely recommend for a hearty lunch.

07/01/2026: Excellent bar and pastry service, friendly and fast staff...what can I say? The only elegant place in Castelletto Ticino. Normal prices for a pastry shop, so anyone who isn't happy should go get their hair cut in Arona.

16/11/2025: The pastry shop is excellent, the service very disappointing, the clerks are annoyed, and, in my opinion, there are too many mocking faces. It's a shame to get takeout pastries and not tare them. The scale was at zero, so you pay for the wrapping as if they were pastries. It's a shame, small details that can make a difference. It's still the best pastry shop in the area.

07/01/2026: We often come to Castelletto Ticino, taking advantage of a visit to the shopping center, and never fail to stop for lunch or a coffee at this place. It's perhaps the nicest place I know in our area, near Lake Maggiore. We had lunch here again today. The space is spacious and bright, relaxing and soothing thanks to the tasteful decor and the abundance of plants. They offer excellent ready-made dishes, a variety of drinks, and a lovely selection of desserts. The staff at the counter are very kind, professional, and friendly. We've always had a great experience and will definitely be back. See you next time!

31/12/2025: Terrible. We ordered four piadinas: two with cooked ham and two with raw ham. They also served the ones with raw ham... cooked. Yes, you read that right: the raw ham was no longer raw. We pointed this out to the guy (I think he was the owner's son), who immediately walked away, ran away, saying he wasn't the one making the piadinas. Shortly afterward, a lady who works there arrived and apparently made them herself. Her "brilliant" response was: "This is how we make piadinas with raw ham." In Italy, evidently, some people still don't know that raw ham shouldn't be reheated. It's raw. Obviously, no one did anything to fix it. The piadinas with cooked ham were of terrible quality, and even though they told us there was mozzarella, what they served wasn't mozzarella. This place was beautiful years ago: the food was good and it was even organic. Today, it's truly disgusting. The staff, and that guy in particular, were terrible.
