22/01/2026: Excellent pizza.... That's why I gave it three stars. We were there on Saturday, supposed to be seated at 9, but there was already a half-hour wait. There were a lot of people, and I noticed only one pizza chef working. That's why there was such a long wait even for the pizzas. We expected at least an apology, which never came... We definitely won't be returning, though I'm very disappointed about that, because the pizza is truly delicious. Perhaps the best I've eaten in Savigliano.

03/01/2026: We met up for dinner with some friends, we made last-minute plans, and found a table available here. When it came to the bill, the waiter made a mistake, overcharging us by about 50 euros. He couldn't recalculate the bill by going back to the order we'd just placed, exclaiming that it wasn't possible to do that. I'm not saying much, though... we all have calculators. To avoid an argument, we left, and in exchange, he wanted to offer us a liqueur, which we didn't order. We won't be returning; let's just say he could have handled the situation better by admitting his mistake and recalculating the bill by hand. (The octopus isn't worth the price, nor the linguine; there was more garlic than clams, the burger had half a very thin slice of bacon, and the pizza crunch didn't match the photos.)

01/01/2026: Good morning, we went for New Year's Eve. The place was nice and welcoming. The pizzas weren't the best. The waiters were unprofessional and served us inedible desserts (we asked the waiter why the cheesecake tasted like onion. He still hasn't given us an answer yet!!). I'm sorry but it was a negative experience considering what we paid. Thanks, goodbye.

26/01/2026: I went to dinner with a friend of mine on a Saturday night. We didn't reserve, but we found a table and were seated right away. We both had pizza. The ingredients were very good. I ordered the Monviso pizza, and both the leeks and sausage were very good. I also had the fried calamari, which was good and plentiful. The desserts were also good.

18/01/2026: A well-kept and welcoming place. We had the pizza: excellent! Judging by the tables next to them, the other dishes, meticulously prepared, must have been delicious too. The owners and staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Highly recommended if you're passing through Savigliano.

21/12/2025: Artisanal quality and courtesy: a guarantee in Savigliano. I've been frequenting Pasticceria Sabena for years and can confirm that it represents absolute excellence in the local scene. It's my go-to place for any time of day, from breakfast to aperitivo. Why I recommend it: Homemade: The difference is immediately noticeable. Their freshly baked pastries are spectacular, as is their freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, pastries, and gelato. Even their savory selection is meticulously crafted and always fresh. Top-notch coffee shop: The coffee is excellent, thanks in part to the always friendly, knowledgeable, and fast staff, capable of starting your day with a smile. Value for money: The prices are absolutely fair and in line with the high-quality ingredients used. Paying a fair price for such a high-quality artisanal product is a pleasure. A historic establishment that never disappoints. If you're looking for a truly home-made pastry shop, Sabena is a must-visit.

29/12/2025: I waited for over twenty minutes for it to open, since the sign on the door said it would open at 5 PM, but at 5:20 PM it was still closed.

26/11/2025: I promised myself I'd never eat a kebab after visiting Istanbul, but now that I've been persuaded to try it, I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely repeat the experience because I found both the food and the service truly excellent. The place is unfortunately small, but everything else gets top marks!

15/02/2026: It took a very long time even though no one was there, but okay. The two arancina were overpriced, huge, and tasted awful. Too much breading, the rice was too hard, and the filling was a mixture of hard and slimy – not recommended.
