08/01/2026: I had already been there for dinner with colleagues and I gladly returned, having booked for lunch. This is a quaint place where you can have lunch and dinner, but also enjoy excellent cocktails. The service is courteous and fast. The dishes are expertly cooked, tasty, and light. Excellent wine selection. Vitello tonnato with a pink heart and a rustic tuna sauce, just like in the olden days. We also had a first course: pumpkin ravioli, sausage, and parmesan cream, excellent. The Fassona Bavetta with vermouth is a must-try, as is the diaphragm as a second course; exquisite, flavorful meat. To finish, tiramisu and pistachio semifreddo. I will definitely be back.

Wide selection of pizzas, delicious arancini and chips, not to mention the cleanliness—always clean—and the staff are very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. When you come in, you don't just eat, you feel at home!! Mimmo's pizza is a part of Asti's history!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

01/03/2026: Preface: I don't usually write negative reviews, assuming we all make mistakes, that we have bad days, and that we're all human. Let's get back to the point: yesterday I had dinner with my partner at Violetta, and because I have an allergy, I made sure to call for the first time last week to ask if my allergy would be a problem for their management (which was perfectly legitimate, and my question could have been answered with a response along the lines of "no, look, we're not organized for allergies"), and the owner told me there was absolutely no problem, just let me know in advance. So I did, and booked Tuesday for Saturday. It's a shame the offer wasn't the same for everyone, and in fact, the entree arrived accompanied by the elegant owner, who had given me a completely different impression on the phone, adding, "You can't eat this," so I have to ask, "Why are you bringing it to me?" And above all, are you making me pay for it? Yes, in fact, for 2 people, €115.00 with 2 appetizers. My cardoons, without Toma cheese (which I needed), were half a cardoon strip without even a drop of oil, with a few flakes of Parmesan and a pepper flan. Two second courses, which in theory should have been accompanied by seasonal vegetables, were in fact accompanied by 2 carrot sticks and 1 artichoke segment, to the point that, due to my still-hungry nature, I ordered a slightly larger plate of vegetables. My companion ordered dessert, but obviously I couldn't because I had no options due to my allergy, as were the prohibited first courses. All accompanied by 3 glasses of wine and 2 liqueurs, no coffee. Total cost €115, and I swear I was hungry. Now, let's overlook the lack of management of my allergy, which I made two phone calls about and was a prerequisite for my going. Let's overlook the ridiculous portions, but €115 is an insult to those who work honestly. Then again, the receipt only lists the total... old school... so you can't dispute it because you don't have a list of prices right away. To be honest, the food isn't excellent, but it's average quality, and the price, on the other hand, is almost Michelin-starred. Reading the positive reviews, it makes me think they charge different prices to their friends; otherwise, I can't explain it. Never again!

22/02/2026: Very light piadinas, very good, with truly fresh ingredients, freshly sliced ​​cold cuts. We went for lunch today with my partner. I had a piadina with prosciutto, arugula, and squacquerone cheese, and he had a piadina with ham and mozzarella. We spent less than €10. The staff were very friendly, and the place is beautiful. We'll be happy to return. (We're from Turin.)

Everything in the bag spilled out like liquid, like you eat a liquid piadina, so everything spills back into the bag, so I only ate the piadina! From now on, it's better to get a classic piadina with ham and cheese!
