03/04/2026: I find it unacceptable that the owner would say, "These things happen" when a hair is found in the pizza and he wanted to charge full price. Never again.

28/11/2025: Historic Hotel Restaurant in Castelnuovo Don Bosco. The cuisine is carefully prepared and of high quality, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the local wine list is also good.
And after returning for the Truffle Fair for two years, I confirm my review of the truffle menu as well. Congratulations.

13/07/2026: It's hard to find places like this... excellent for a simple aperitivo but with the option of dinner or tasting various delicacies or incredible raw fish. It's a nice place, you feel at ease and it's almost a shame to get up at the end of the aperitivo. I've read reviews that I don't find realistic about the prices, which are always indicated and in line with what you order. It's the only place I've been to that offers the wine list and menu even if you sit down for a Negroni and a Spritz (which were excellent, by the way!). Probably some people have never actually been there or they like champagne but would like to pay the same price as Tavernello. Rating 10!
12/07/2026: We had an aperitivo here. Unfortunately, although the quality is quite good, the price is quite high. The charcuterie board only features prosciutto, mortadella, and one other sliced meat, so the variety isn't commensurate with the price. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere, albeit a bit noisy.

25/05/2026: We were there for a family birthday party. The food was excellent, Piedmontese and plentiful. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The place is well-kept, with lots of flowers, a playground for kids, and outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back.

05/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, one of the best in Asti. Besides excellent sushi (fabulous sashimi, nigiri, and hosomaki), they also have an excellent ravioli section (I especially recommend the shrimp ones) and fried food (crispy and fresh tempura). I'll be back to try the rice and ramen too.

14/04/2026: A pleasant surprise, the quality is evident even from the sparkling water, which is truly sparkling!
Small but welcoming and warm.
Friendly staff
Good, very light pizzas.
Prices are a bit above average, especially considering the location and lack of parking.
I'm not giving you a 5-star rating because:
- the tablecloth was too small for the table, €2 for the cover charge (we ate with half a plate outside, and the table underneath was a bit sticky).
- the tomato sauce was just a pulp thrown on top, for my taste; I found it a bit acidic, but that's just a matter of taste and not everyone is the same.
We'll definitely be back, and I'm sure we'll change our minds. Take this as an incentive, not a reproach.

08/11/2025: We stopped at this bar by chance for an aperitif.
We have no complaints; the service was friendly and fast.
The platters brought to us with each order were very generous and varied.
Well-made cocktails.
The prices are more than fair.
I recommend a visit!
02/11/2025: Located right in front of the famous "Campanon" in Nizza Monferrato, the bar offers a varied and interesting selection of drinks. After a very long wait of almost an hour, apparently due to a technical issue, we received an apology from the staff and a small discount, which was appreciated and certainly not trivial. Prices are a bit above average (€7 for a spritz), but the drinks are very good. I would make a small comment about some of the tables outside, which are a bit run down. First impressions can be very important to customers, and this could influence the choice of those who, passing by and looking, might feel pressured to pass by.

05/07/2026: Five of us had Sunday lunch. After ordering, we didn't get the peppered mussels because they ran out of mussels. The meat counter was more or less empty, with no more than 5 kg of meat in total. We finished eating three coffees and one coffee cream. No, because they ran out. 👎
