30/03/2024: great address, the welcome, the meal, the atmosphere, everything was perfect! possibility for vegetarians (like me).

28/03/2024: It's not the first time we have dinner at Al Portego. And it won't be the last..... It's a great experience every time. It may be the quality of the food and the wine, the sincere and warm environment, but also Davide's mastery in proposing the dishes and serving them making you feel at home (I'm from Rome and therefore biased), the fact is that dining at Al Portego won't make you never disappoints. And every time you return to Venice, an evening is dedicated to them.

07/04/2024: Great place, i got the pasta with fresh tuna which was delicious. The spinach and grana padano starter was good too. We sat right on the edge of the canal which felt mildly precarious but no one fell in so that was good.

28/03/2024: A very busy restaurant. Perfect for beautiful evenings in Caorle. Eating is a pleasure and the ambience invites you to linger longer. Waiters are very quick and friendly. No reservation is necessary, but you do have to allow for a little waiting time from time to time. Definitely worth a visit.

29/12/2023: Maybe update? We were convinced to have lunch there since it said open... it was once closed there... well, we found a new restaurant for the next holidays... We usually had dinner there, so no complaints on the menu, well done 👍

11/12/2023: It has gotten worse, once it was a decent restaurant with a good price and good quality, now little attention to the customer and insufficient management, waiters shouting in the room, excessive prices for the quality offered.

07/04/2024: Restaurant is really cozy, seated us quickly (we had reservations) and has a beautiful romantic table for 2 outside on the canal (we saw a proposal there!). The food was all consistently good. There were other restaurants on our trip that knocked our socks off a little more than this one, but Ai Barbacani is still a fantastic dinner option in Venice.

07/04/2024: I used to frequent this restaurant very often years ago. Now unfortunately I feel like strongly against it. Even to tourists. A great disappointment. I can only mention the courtesy of the staff to find a positive element. But nothing more.

30/03/2024: Very accurate service from start to finish. The cuisine absolutely wows and also the space pizza The only thing, it would be nice if the portions of the pasta were slightly more generous

14/03/2024: We were in Jesolo in March for work, and luckily we found this place. The dishes are delicious and beautiful, they look like paintings... the owner is very nice and so is his staff. At the end of the meal they also offered us an amazing home-made dove. To return... maybe in the summer with a beautiful sun outside.

06/04/2024: Walking by chance, from outside, it was crowded and chic, intrigued, we entered and boommm! Delicate and well cared for environment. Very formal service at ELVIS very pleasant! Prepared and fun. Excellent food and well served. The warm bread with oil as a wait for the service is ingenious and delicious. Bread made by them. Too bad it's a quick lunch but if we're in the area we'll return for a delicious dinner full of nice surprises. Compliments. I HIGHLY recommend! Polenta and schie....top! Shelled clams and bottarga SPECIAL...sublime! GOOD

03/04/2024: A very nice experience. It's ideal for families and small groups. The staff is very kind and the food is very good. I had the opportunity to go with a group of friends, we all served different types of pizza, and we all agreed that it was great.

03/04/2024: Pleasant atmosphere. But we were disappointed with the food. The swordfish and pulpo were on the grill too long. All dishes, including our daughter's spaghetti Bolognese, tasted bland.

05/05/2024: Tasty and well presented food, friendly and hospitable staff, lavish wine selection. It takes about one and a half up to two hours for a 6 course meal. The staff made us feel at home and had great ice breaker jokes. Really enjoyed the Barone Pizzini Franciacorta Golf 1927 wine they recommended.

28/04/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante l’ultima sera del nostro breve soggiorno a Venezia, ed è stata tutto sommato un’esperienza positiva: location forse un poco asettica, non c’era molta privacy tra un tavolo e l’altro, una saletta di passaggio, forse le sale adiacenti erano più curate …. Per quanto riguarda il cibo mi ha impressionato positivamente l’entree di benvenuto dello chef, veramente notevole, poi le portate successive non da wow le mie, a differenza di quelle ordinate da mio marito, che si è detto molto soddisfatto ( io avevo preso l’uovo fritto con fonduta e tartufo e il branzino con crosta alle mandorle e paprika , dove la spezia copriva totalmente il sapore del pesce e la crosta di mandorle forse è stata dimenticata , non c’era )… Il dolce ottimo, per i dolcetti finali non avevo più spazio ! Nel complesso positivo, ma x l’eccellenza c’è da lavorarci

15/03/2024: Every 2 months ..+ or - I stopped for lunch with friends, without infamy and without praise, still OK. - Yesterday (14.3.2024) unfortunately the smell of fried food could be felt everywhere and above all fried food that was poorly accepted by the stomachs. -

21/03/2024: Place discovered by chance, in the first days of August, after an aperitif in Bibione with my parents... the pizzeria is really large, with a beautiful garden in which to dine... As soon as we arrived they made us sit: the staff is very helpful and the pizza is really good and was served very quickly... The pizza with burrata was excellent... we will definitely be back... recommended!
