05/09/2025: Very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. We had a delicious meal. We recommend the Italian pizza with gorgonzola and the steak strips on a bed of arugula with Grano flakes 🤤.

28/08/2025: Review: 5 out of 5 stars Il Passo di Giano – Passignano sul Trasimeno An unforgettable gastronomic experience on the shores of Lake Trasimeno! At Passo di Giano, we were captivated by authentic cuisine, showcasing the flavors of lake fish with skill and passion. We began with a rich assortment of lake appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, which alone were worth the visit: delicate yet bold flavors, thoughtful pairings, and top-quality ingredients. The highlight of the lunch was a spectacular mixed lake grill, with perfectly cooked and flavorful fish, followed by two memorable dishes: eel in white wine, tender and intense, and grilled carp, surprisingly tasty and served impeccably cooked. To accompany everything, an excellent local wine, carefully chosen and perfect for enhancing each course. To finish on a sweet note, a simply delicious caramel panna cotta: creamy, velvety, and with an aromatic caramel that won everyone over. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly and helpful staff who were able to offer excellent advice. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch, with a view of the lake that makes everything even more special. Highly recommended for those who love authentic local flavors and seek authentic yet refined cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

29/06/2025: Beautiful place, great atmosphere and view, lovely people, great service and carefully made dishes that go beyond 'local specialties'. The spaghetti alle vongole was tasty but could have tasted a bit more of the sea.

04/06/2025: Su consiglio di gente del posto io e mia moglie abbiamo lasciato i luoghi piu' turistici del lago e siamo andati a San Feliciano con lo scopo specifico di assaggiare un menù fatto esclusivamente di pesci di lago. Scelta azzeccata. Il ristorante é elegante anche se un pò datato e forse poco adatto ai giovani ma la location é bella e la cucina senz'altro valida. Abbiamo assaporato l'antipasto misto di pesce del Trasimeno, i filetti di codregone in tre modi diversi, ottime tagliatelle alla tinca affummicata. Mezzo punto in meno forse per il capitone alla spiedo, un pò troppo piccolo come taglia. Se un giorno passeremo di nuovo da quelle parti ci rifermeremo senz'altro da Settimio.

27/05/2025: A San Feliciano splendidi panorami alimentano sensazioni di pace e cari ricordi (visita a "la Zizaia" con Faliero Marcianti). Francesco e il suo staff ti coccolano con ricette antiche e nuove. Pesce fresco, preparato perfettamente, ti mette in crisi per una scelta. Per fortuna la bravissima Sofia ci aiuta. Applausi allora per: -latterini fritti -tegamaccio -grigliata e frittura mista -carpa regina in porchetta -capitone allo spiedo. A presto.

26/07/2025: Disappointing. At €100 per person (excluding alcohol), there was no room for error — yet several dishes fell short of expectations. The tuna and salmon sushi and nigiri were good, but the fish-to-rice ratio felt unbalanced, with too much fish. Some pieces even had seaweed coming loose. The fatty tuna sashimi was excellent, but the medium-fatty tuna was stringy and lacked finesse. The Wagyu nigiri was especially underwhelming — the meat was bland and offered none of the rich flavor one would expect. The waitress described the fruit sashimi dessert as a mix of exotic fruits like mango, passion fruit, and kiwi. In reality, there wasn’t a single exotic fruit on the plate — just apples, melon, strawberries, watermelon and plums. The free appetisers were really good. We waited a lot between each sushi plate. The decor resembled that of a hotel restaurant — polished, but lacking authenticity or atmosphere. All in all, we expected much more for such a steep price.

07/07/2025: The best restaurant in Perugia! Incredible food prepared fresh by a talented team of chefs. I have had the pleasure of dinning here many times so I have tried almost everything on the menu. Chef Marco is always innovating with new recipes so I still have some new items to try! His dishes are works of art and he takes great care of every plate that leaves the kitchen. The people who are apart of the restaurant treat every customer with care. I have had so many amazing nights at Il Vizio because of the kinds of the staff. My favourite dishes that I would recommend are: • The Chirashi Bowl • Roasted Miso Eggplant • Chu Toro Nigiri • Teriyaki Tuna Tataki • The White Chocolate Namelaka with Mangos and Matcha. 04/10/2025: We've been enjoying excellent dinners at the "Da Massimo" restaurant for over 20 years. Delicious dishes, cooked with love and carefully presented, excellent service, and a stunning location with a breathtaking view of Lake Trasimeno. Congratulations to Massimo, the chef, Maurizio, Lorenzo, and Manuela, who, with their expertise, manage to bring the sea to Umbria!

03/09/2025: Perugia is a beautiful city, and one of its trendiest and most bohemian neighborhoods is Via della Viola. Strolling through the narrow streets, we noticed this place, which has a terrace in a small square enclosed on four sides, from which you can walk down to an arthouse cinema. We immediately decided to dine here. Seasonal menu and a wide selection of natural wines. We opted for seafood, because after several days in Umbria, I couldn't stand eating meat! The dishes were all delicious, from the first to the last. Even the desserts. And to finish, they offered us a delicious sour cherry liqueur. Lovely atmosphere. Top service. Good price. I definitely recommend it!

13/09/2025: We kindly asked for a plate of tagliatelle with meat sauce for a 2-year-old girl. (Half portion). When we paid, we were charged in full for the "baby" portion, which was confirmed at the cashier. Do you think that's fair? I don't think so. The star is only for the service staff... They were very nice.

11/10/2025: I can't give 0 stars, otherwise I would have. Never again. Business dinner for 30, classic pizza round. I told them I was ALLERGIC to sulfites. They told me not to worry, they wouldn't have any. MORAL OF THE STORY?! I only ate one appetizer pie. Full of sulfites, I spent the evening outside in the garden, unable to breathe, shaking. I reported everything, but they told me there were leftovers in the pans. I paid €25 anyway. I DIDN'T TOUCH EVEN A PIECE OF PIZZA, NOT EVEN A DROP OF BEER. I paid just to feel sick. The owner at the cash register wanted to convince me at all costs that they have an allergen list, but I didn't see or read anything on the tables. They still made me pay for a disgusting evening. The second round of pizzas (4) arrived at midnight. Poor quality food, cardboard pizza. None of us were satisfied, from the pizzas to the dessert (a thin layer of sponge cake and a mountain of non-dairy cream). I'm going to the doctor today. He'll tell me what to do. One thing's for sure: they'll never see us again, not one of us in our 30s. IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES, STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!

03/09/2025: Spent our final night in Perugia here and was our favourite meal by far for both quality of food and service. Excellent food and drink and really friendly service from Luca. We love sushi and this made a nice change from the more regional meat and cheese options, but even so, it surpassed expectation. If we ever come back to Perugia we will return 🙂

02/09/2025: Excellent sushi. Good, creative food. I suggest installing strings of small light bulbs outside, though. It's too dark.
