At Passo di Giano, we were captivated by authentic cuisine, showcasing the flavors of lake fish with skill and passion. We began with a rich assortment of lake appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, which alone were worth the visit: delicate yet bold flavors, thoughtful pairings, and top-quality ingredients. The highlight of the lunch was a spectacular mixed lake grill, with perfectly cooked and flavorful fish, followed by two memorable dishes: eel in white wine, tender and intense, and grilled carp, surprisingly tasty and served impeccably cooked. To accompany everything, an excellent local wine, carefully chosen and perfect for enhancing each course. To finish on a sweet note, a simply delicious caramel panna cotta: creamy, velvety, and with an aromatic caramel that won everyone over. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly and helpful staff who were able to offer excellent advice. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch, with a view of the lake that makes everything even more special. 04/06/2025: Su consiglio di gente del posto io e mia moglie abbiamo lasciato i luoghi piu' turistici del lago e siamo andati a San Feliciano con lo scopo specifico di assaggiare un menù fatto esclusivamente di pesci di lago. Scelta azzeccata. Il ristorante é elegante anche se un pò datato e forse poco adatto ai giovani ma la location é bella e la cucina senz'altro valida. Abbiamo assaporato l'antipasto misto di pesce del Trasimeno, i filetti di codregone in tre modi diversi, ottime tagliatelle alla tinca affummicata. Mezzo punto in meno forse per il capitone alla spiedo, un pò troppo piccolo come taglia. Se un giorno passeremo di nuovo da quelle parti ci rifermeremo senz'altro da Settimio.

27/05/2025: A San Feliciano splendidi panorami alimentano sensazioni di pace e cari ricordi (visita a "la Zizaia" con Faliero Marcianti). Francesco e il suo staff ti coccolano con ricette antiche e nuove. Pesce fresco, preparato perfettamente, ti mette in crisi per una scelta. Per fortuna la bravissima Sofia ci aiuta. Applausi allora per: -latterini fritti -tegamaccio -grigliata e frittura mista -carpa regina in porchetta -capitone allo spiedo. A presto.

Drinks (glass of red wine, espresso, and grappa) were also reasonably priced. The small, atmospheric dining room and friendly staff make it a must-visit.

17/11/2025: We love this bar/restaurant. It is ‘alive’ and friendly. A great antmosphere. All the staff welcome you like friends and make you feel ‘at home’. They take a pride in everything they serve. Even a cappuccino is made perfectly to your liking and served with love. We ordered a Gnocchi Di Zucca last week and it was absolutely delicious. A feast for the senses.

13/11/2025: If you want a seafood meal without the fuss, this is the place for you: simple, no frills. I opted for the tasting menu, which costs €36 and includes everything—water, coffee, dessert, and service charge. I must say I was surprised; I thought it was just the food. I couldn't eat everything, so I had to take the last few courses away. The only dish I wasn't sold on was the gnocchi, but otherwise, everything was fine.

We were greeted by a very kind gentleman at the entrance, who created an atmosphere of comfort and refinement: incredible design, soft lighting, calm, pleasant music created the perfect atmosphere. Special thanks to the chef! Each of the four dishes we ordered was a masterpiece. The tender fish fillet with perfectly cooked vegetables was particularly memorable, and the sauces were incredibly harmonious. The exquisite presentation of each dish only enhanced the experience. The dessert was simply incredible: the plombir ice cream with black salt and two other ingredients completely rewrote the dessert recipe in our minds. Simply incredible! There are no other words! Our waiter was attentive and perfectly recommended the best wine to pair with our dinner. The service was impeccable, and we felt welcome. The restaurant exceeded all our expectations. 18/10/2025: A quiet, open-air café with a relaxing view of the lake

06/09/2025: The food was very good, including the view of the lake. Points deducted for the service. Too few employees, who even looked away just to avoid having to serve. Old dishes were still lying around everywhere. When you finally got around to ordering, because you were able to move, things moved slowly but surely. Another point deducted for the bill. You didn't see it until after you paid, and it was incorrect, too. Too many drinks were charged. My impression was that the employee was somewhere between intentional and incompetent.

07/12/2025: We're regulars. Excellent food, generous portions, but what makes the difference is the attention to celiacs. They offer everything (fried foods, pizza, desserts). Highly recommended!
