29/08/2025: We chose this restaurant while visiting downtown Bolzano because it's slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. It could be described as a little oasis in the city center. Excellent food and generous portions. Very friendly staff, and a good location for those visiting the archaeological museum.

27/08/2025: From start to finish, this dining experience was nothing short of magical. The truffle gnocchi was an absolute standout—pillowy soft, perfectly cooked, and coated in a rich, fragrant truffle sauce that struck the perfect balance of indulgence without being overwhelming. Each bite felt like pure comfort elevated to fine dining. The outdoor seating made everything even more special. It’s a truly romantic setting—soft lighting, thoughtfully arranged tables, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger long after the meal. It’s the kind of place that feels tailor-made for date nights or celebrating something meaningful. What tied it all together was the exceptional service. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making the evening memorable. Every recommendation was spot-on, and little details were anticipated before we even had to ask. This restaurant is a rare gem where food, atmosphere, and service all shine equally. I’ll be dreaming of that truffle gnocchi until my next visit!

20/08/2025: This hut is not recommended. It's more of a Michelin-starred restaurant in the middle of the Dolomites, or rather a posh après-ski bar. The prices are very inflated, even considering that it's located in the mountains and the corresponding transportation costs are included in the price calculation. Unfortunately, we were only served at the beginning. After that, no one served us again, not even when two more people arrived. The staff started packing up two hours before closing time, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere and felt like being kicked out. After waiting for over an hour, we paid and left. The restroom is worth seeing, though. I hope that the Emilio Comici Hut will focus more on customers who don't want to spend €300 on a single visit. It's better to seek out other dining options.

20/08/2025: What a great (and affordable) lunch! We had to wait until we could order, but once we did everything went fast and smooth. Great place also for kids with a big slide outside. Great toilets. Price was good. I recommend this to all my friends if they go to val gardena

09/09/2025: We went here on the recommendation of our hotel (who had given us a top tip the day before: Sal Fëur 👌)… new owner for a year – WHAT A MISTAKE!! Wretched kitchen, how hard can it be to make Zwiebelrostbraten… worst quality meat ever – too bizarre! My red tuna (€32 without a side) was okay, but the recommended side dishes: Bratkartoffelen (€7) and grilled vegetables (€10), which tasted like they were reheated from a week ago, were served on the same dreary white flatbreads from the 70s. Because they didn't have Prosecco and we thought "champagne" at €12-15 a glass was a bit much, we ordered a Pinot Grigio, which looked like a rosé and tasted like vinegar, and a Lagrein that tasted "dusty." And with those pretenses, they served the food on a broken plate. I ate with my coat on because I thought it was cold. The lady at the table next to us couldn't finish her pizza either and gave up after a third. The table next to us were also constantly chipping away at their pizza. Well, we were screaming outside after 45 minutes. 😝 Never again, and I'd like to spare everyone this mistake! (I rarely write reviews, but this was so bad that I took the trouble.)

31/08/2025: We stayed for 4 nights at the Alpenroyal Hotel in August 2025 and had an incredible time. I rarely write reviews but the staff and property deserve it. Service: I'll start with this... 12/10, A++. The staff across the hotel were simply amazing. Friendly, proactive, knowledgeable, helpful. They turned a great experience into an unforgettable one. Thank you Check-in: Smooth and easy. We arrived at 3 PM and our room was ready early. We were upgraded from a Junior Suite to Junior Suite Deluxe. The staff helped park our car and move our luggage Room: Exactly as pictured on the website (actually felt larger in reality). Beautiful with breathtaking views. The photos don't do the views justice Location: Short walk (15 minutes) to the Col Raiser lift which we believe is the best way to start the iconic Seceda hike without the crowds. Also a short walk to the center of Selva Spa: Massive, clean, and modern. Multiple dry sauna and steam room options and a relaxation room. Great hot tubs and pools too (both indoor and outdoor w/ views of the alps) Restaurant and Bar: We didn't get the half board option but had breakfasts, a few lunches, and a dinner at the hotel. Excellent food. Extensive wine list (great by the glass options too). Cocktails were delicious. We loved doing night caps at the bar and enjoying the live piano man Hope to be back sooner rather than later!
