28/04/2025: I recently went to the Ritterhof restaurant and as before it was a positive experience. Nice atmosphere, attentive service, excellent food and wine pairing, I appreciated the presentation of the dishes which was less satisfying than the mise en place. Good value for money, definitely recommended and going back again.
Ps. It may be out of place, but congratulations on the cleanliness and furnishing of the toilets.

For us, the Pizzeria Principe in Merano is more than just a restaurant – it is a real experience. Every dish that comes to the table here is a small work of art. The flavors, the quality of the ingredients, the perfect preparation - simply incredible. From the first bite you can tell that they cook with passion here. The palate literally explodes with happiness!
But what really makes this place special is the team. The staff is so warm, friendly and familiar that you immediately feel at home. You will be welcomed with a smile, served attentively and pampered all around. This warmth and hospitality can no longer be taken for granted these days - it is appreciated all the more here.
For me, the Pizzeria Principe is an absolute favorite place in Meran. Anyone who has eaten here once is guaranteed to come back. Thank you for so many wonderful moments of enjoyment!
26/03/2025: Very nice location. The pizza is average, quite good with generous toppings, but could be improved by making it slightly thinner and/or crispier. Quick and friendly service, normal prices.

06/06/2025: A true gem in Bolzano – authentic, warm, incomparably good!
During our vacation in South Tyrol, we tried many restaurants – but none impressed us as much as this small, traditional Italian restaurant in Bolzano.
The menu is manageable, but that's precisely what speaks for the quality. The emphasis here is on freshness, regional products, and genuine craftsmanship. Every bite was a little feast – authentic, honest, and full of flavor.
The prices are surprisingly moderate, especially considering the quality of the food. You can tell: This isn't about fancy stuff or tourist rip-offs, but about real taste.
A big compliment also to the warm service – attentive, friendly, and always up for a pleasant chat. We felt completely at home.
Conclusion: We haven't eaten better anywhere during our entire vacation. This restaurant is an absolute insider tip for anyone who appreciates good food and genuine hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

31/05/2025: Don't let the rustic atmosphere scare you—this place might look a little old-school or rough around the edges, but the food is absolutely worth it. Osteria del Picchio serves up genuinely delicious dishes that feel homemade and full of flavor. The vino della casa was also a pleasant surprise—simple, smooth, and paired perfectly with the meal. If you're looking for a true local spot with character and great food, give it a try!

The kitchen creates exquisite dishes, the service is competent, attentive, and sharp-edged—warm, and the ambiance is stylish.
Tip: My Black Forest dessert creation was simply divine. Definitely worth trying!

18/06/2025: Great place to stop towards the end of hiking the Sassolungo loop. Don’t miss the high tech toilets. Beautiful views of Sella mountains with Sassolungo mountains behind. Enjoy the slide next to the hut! Very fun. Note that the kitchen isn’t open all day.
16/06/2025: After standing at the "entrance" with our infant for several minutes, we were asked if we just wanted a drink or something to eat. We wanted to eat. The "manager" would come over right away and seat us. After waiting five minutes and having 20 employees walk past us without even looking at us, we left. On top of that, the prices were outrageous for such poor and unfriendly "service" (soup 14 euros).

Suitable for adults in my opinion
Very kind staff
I spent 2 nights in suite 500 (two adults and a 16 year old daughter) the accommodation is perfect
Great independence and privacy as it consists of two separate bedrooms with two internal bathrooms and a common entrance
I couldn't ask for better accommodation
Beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool - spa, massages, relaxation room, gym everything is managed at the top and the stay at this hotel was truly perfect
A special note goes to the restaurant service FOR CELIAC PEOPLE (our daughter was served with great attention and kindness by a waiter dedicated to her and was able to taste all the exquisite dishes they offer, modified as needed for those intolerant to gluten with great attention and in total safety). Congratulations indeed because I have been traveling for more than 20 years all over the world with celiac children and service like this is rare. Thank you

We were three for dinner and we were really enthusiastic about the experience. If you are looking for a place to enjoy excellent fresh fish, this is definitely the right restaurant.
We enjoyed every single course, prepared with care and with raw materials of the highest quality. The fish was cooked to perfection, enhancing the natural flavors without covering them.
To accompany the dinner, we chose a bottle of wine that turned out to be a perfect match, further enhancing the dishes.
The service was attentive and friendly, helping to make the evening even more enjoyable.

13/06/2025: Large restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff is understaffed when it's busy. The pizza tasted good, but the crust was very thin and soft in the middle; only the wide crust was crispy.
