30/06/2025: Highly recommended if you want to eat great meat in Viareggio, but all the dishes are really delicious. The staff is very kind and efficient. I have already been there five times, every time friends or family come to visit me. The location is small but cozy, even if I find it a little dark.

18/06/2025: It happens that one evening you decide to take a walk after dinner and while walking you realize that you have lost a piece of the house keys. So you start to go back and forth, because you can't give up, it's a dear memory, but it so happens that you start to feel an urge, but pretending nothing is happening you continue back and forth. At a certain point you just can't take it anymore, you really need to go "plin plin". You look around and see a restaurant, a little embarrassed you approach the entrance of the room and seek someone's attention. With not too much enthusiasm a gentleman in a blue shirt of average height approaches and you ask him the fateful question with a certain answer: "Excuse me if I'm a bother, I wanted to ask if I can use your dressing table?". And instead he surprises you and you hear him say "No, it's reserved for our customers". Having no other option you add: "I apologize, but I really need it!" Raising his arm with a gesture that seemed like Ma va a.... he says to me: "Mavaaaaa". Not caring, and not understanding if it was the indication or something else, I use the toilet, which is also very well-kept and clean, and within two minutes I leave, not missing the opportunity to thank him, but adding that he was not kind at all. Leaving I noticed that the place was full of people and the dishes, which were also beautiful, seemed appetizing, who knows, maybe one of these evenings I will come for dinner hoping to find more empathy and kindness. Nothing is owed, of course, but .... A 55 year old. PS I didn't even find the keys, it's not really my evening.

10/05/2025: I had read the reviews. I tasted an exceptional first course with prawn and pistachio dressing. Fabulous. I "fished" the ravioli with scallops and burrata from another plate... divine. Then a very light fried dish that you could tell had been cooked in new oil that hadn't been burned for centuries. Truly an exceptional experience. They offer various formulas that satisfy everyone. The bill was fair, in fact, not at all expensive. I met two sisters with a beautiful smile. Final vote? For people who prefer tasteful simplicity over fake places... 10/10. Nice to see that there are still young people getting involved. Excellent with praise.

23/06/2025: This was the most delicious restaurant during the 4 days in Viareggio. It was full of the flavor of fresh seafood. In fact, there is no special technique, but it is intuitively just a delicious place. Two men and a woman ordered 3 dishes, and although the portions were large, they were delicious and we were able to eat them all. The seafood carbonara was particularly impressive. The spiciness of the peperoncino cuts through the greasiness, so I think it will suit the Korean palate well. The bacon also went well with the seafood, creating a good balance. The vongole and grilled squid were also better versions of the already familiar delicious flavors. The staff was also friendly.

10/06/2025: Restaurant in Viareggio that a friend of mine recommended to me. Very rich menu. I ate the mussels stuffed with meat with tomato sauce. The large mussel shells filled with lots of meat but little trace of the mussels. Spaghetti allo scoglio with very fresh clams while the mussels were clearly quite dated, in the whole dish only a nice full-bodied one. Other fish did not arrive. At the bottom of the plate a lot of water from the not exactly perfect draining. The spaghetti cooked well even if a little salty. Very kind staff and fast service....... Offered a digestive at the end of the meal.

13/06/2025: Restaurant that certainly has a great history but that seems to have lost with the passage of time. Improvised and inadequate preparation of dishes for the prices. It seems that in the kitchen there is the usual Pakistani who has no idea how to prepare traditional fish dishes

08/07/2025: It's my absolute favorite restaurant. I discovered it two years ago and went back two months ago. The staff are friendly, kind, and the dishes are perfect. It never disappoints me; it's absolutely my first choice when I want to eat fish. ❤️ The place is spectacular, I don't even have the words to describe it!

07/07/2025: Great experience. Superlative food, sure the price is higher on average but I think it's worth it. Surely, if I were to return to Viareggio, I would like to return for a dinner and try other dishes on the menu even if it would be difficult not to try the tuna steak again, exquisite. Excellent service.

30/06/2025: Truly welcoming environment! It feels like entering a place where time has stopped in the 1920s! Excellent quality of the raw material You absolutely have to take the trio of appetizers (all delicious). The first courses were also excellent and the desserts were fabulous. A rosé wine that made the winning combination with the one we had taken (chosen directly by Leonardo). What can I say? Everything was excellent from the appetizer to the dessert! I will definitely return

28/06/2025: Super welcoming place, you can tell that everything is designed to perfection, very nice decor and everything very clean. the staff is kind and attentive to every request. varied menu and suitable for every palate, prepared with excellent raw materials. perfect accompanying wine, we had a really good dinner, top quality/price ratio... we will definitely be back! compliments again to the owner, a gem.

06/06/2025: The seafood carbonara was plentiful but nothing special, considering it is considered the excellence of the place (dry mussels, full of cream, I would say heavy and cloying... Better a rock), appetizer samples seemed like leftovers. The best was the dessert and the fried food from the next table seemed good but I still have to understand all these excellent reviews for the food. Go around Viareggio more even at the same cheap prices, there are better places to eat.

25/06/2025: the experience was surprisingly positive. As the name suggests, you expect a simple, informal environment with affordable prices. And so it was: We ate a lot, spending very little, but the real surprise was the quality: definitely above expectations for a place of this type. The service was calm, easy-going and friendly, perfectly in line with the style of the place. You don't expect formality, but rather hospitality and simplicity, and in this Bar Stadio fully hits the target. The environment is consistent with the name: essential, informal, no frills, but authentic. A place that knows exactly what it wants to offer — and does it well.

05/06/2025: The best meal we've ve had on our Italian trip. The food was divine! We all loved our meals. The service was professional and friendly. Such a shame that we had only found this place the day before we left Italy. It'll be now my place to go to when I'm back in Viareggio.

13/06/2025: The food is decent, the first courses and fried fish are good. The pizza is not the best in my opinion, but it is still good. Prices are slightly below average. A first course and two second courses + bottle of wine + sweet and amaro = 55 euros.

31/05/2025: Great place to have lunch, or dinner both during lunch break and in the evening after a nice walk. The service is fast and the staff is always available. The prices are also quite fair.
