11/04/2025: I didn't find any aspects to criticise, perhaps the first course (which I had modified compared to the menu) turned out to be lower than the (very high) expectations, but it's really a trifle. Very fresh fish, excellent choice of wines, perfect food and drink combinations, very kind and competent staff for advice. In short, I couldn't ask for anything better from a restaurant. I won't comment on the price because I was invited but I believe that the quality/price ratio is undoubtedly another strong point of the place. Compliments!!

01/05/2025: The first time we had a holiday in Viareggio we stumbled upon it by chance, reading the reviews. The second time we looked for him. Excellent quality dishes (the ragu tortelli are unmissable) and excellent service make this restaurant a pearl of local catering. Small kindnesses that make the customer feel pampered and at ease in a minimalist but elegant context. Small "furry" guests are also welcome. I can only recommend it highly. Price adequate for the above but well deserved.

31/03/2025: Characteristic trattoria in Viareggio, "famous" for its long booking times (about a year): its fame proved to be such as, from the service to the food consumed, everything was of a high standard. The restaurant consists of a single small, very characteristic room (due to the quantity of photos, wines and anything else present on the walls). The menu consists of numerous small courses of tasty appetizers followed by a first and second course of your choice. In my case I took paccheri with sea bass and gurnard and a mixed fried fish with paranza, both as simple as they were good. Excellent desserts at the end of dinner. The price? €45 with wine (plenty), water and coffee included, I'd say very good. The service was courteous and quite fast. If you want to wait... it's a must try.

Excellent quality/price ratio in a Versilia where it is not always easy to eat well without paying exorbitant amounts... at Buonamico it is possible to find a warm atmosphere and eat excellently without surprises in prices! Highly recommended.

12/05/2025: Piccolo locale al centro di Viareggio, ambiente semplice e tranquillo. Antipasti buoni e ben preparati come i primi, pesce fresco e di buona qualità. Ottimo il trancio di tonno preso per secondo. Ottimo rappotto qualità prezzo. Un plauso ai ragazzi in sala, attenti ed educati.

28/04/2025: Bar-restaurant with an informal look, for those who like to eat traditional seafood dishes. Not too much choice, but the price is affordable (until now, then I don't know)..

13/04/2025: Definitely disappointing given the comments of those who recommended it to me. Two of us shared spaghetti with clams and fried food. The spaghetti is too dry and contains 4 or 5 small clams. First disappointment. The famous mixed fry makes a big splash because it is voluminous, but the quantity essentially consists of a mountain of sage and other fried vegetables. The fry is dry but the fish is quite tough. Further disappointment. At the end of dinner, 10 am sharp, I was urged to get up from the table while I drank the last drop of bitters because the second shift was starting. What a touch! In summary: without naming names, in Viareggio there are many places where the quality/price ratio (and the service!) is decidedly better. I'm definitely not going back.

08/05/2025: Very good Napoli stretched pizza. Very generous dimensions. Very tasty. No particular feeling of thirst in the following hours. €15 with water and coffee.

19/04/2025: Sunday lunch with the family, delicious food, service present but not nagging, the only flaw is that the kitchen is not isolated from the dining room and the fumes and smells that come from the kitchen are related to the customers' clothes.

24/03/2025: Restaurant in the center of Viareggio, a stone's throw from the promenade. Large, well-kept and tidy place, good menu offering, with mainly fish dishes. All good, fast and attentive service. Offer of excellent craft beers which is not always a given. Fair prices. Definitely a good restaurant, I recommend booking as it was full.

16/04/2025: Super friendly, warm and attentive welcome. We chose dishes from the slate suggestions and they were excellent!! The setting won't thrill you but the meal will be great!!!

06/04/2025: We booked at the last minute on a Saturday evening and they found us a place to put us without any problems. The waitress was very kind, helpful and impeccable in service. We will definitely be back!
