12/08/2026: We went to this place for the first time, and we will definitely be back to eat there. Excellent Florentine steak, equally good side dishes and an incredible selection of wines. Very attentive service, kind and helpful waiters, exceptional price, highly recommended.

20/07/2026: I had a new experience: I dined at home with gourmet restaurant dishes! Yes, it's an experience I recommend. The service and helpful staff were excellent. Excellent, from the appetizer to the main course; I preferred the fish. I compliment the cuisine, and the pizzas are excellent.

16/08/2026: I don't even know where to begin. Crossing the threshold of this restaurant is like entering a parallel dimension, a kind of magical bubble. Refined decor, a relaxing atmosphere. Even before the food arrives, they arrive: the people in charge of service. They are exquisitely kind, always smiling and polite; they don't serve you: they take care of you and guide you with grace, discretion, and professionalism throughout the dinner. Without any affectation, ostentation, or pretentiousness, but with such generosity and passion for what they do. And then there are the dishes: pure art! Spectacular, excellent, of the highest quality, with the freshest ingredients, original combinations, balanced flavors. A feast for the senses: for the eyes, the palate, the nose. This crazy idea is a whole other level; it would be a shame to go there just for dinner.

14/08/2026: Dinner at Osteria Pazza Idea... isn't just a dinner, it's something to experience and discover. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail...from the decor to the background music that accompanies without being intrusive, the service is impeccable. Each course isn't presented but described, and each one was a delight for the palate. Not to mention the initial olfactory experience...a very pleasant surprise.

27/07/2026: I hadn't been there for several years, preferring to stop at Giorgio's in the center of Viareggio. I returned on Saturday and regretted having "forgotten" Cicero for too long: large, comfortable tables, large plates just the way I like them (I hate small plates where it's difficult to eat fish or shellfish), prices absolutely in line with the quality of the food and the generous portions offered: excellent. The wine markup is honest. The dishes are remarkably good: if you want to satisfy your fish cravings, go to Cicero, period. Service was courteous, attentive, and professional; I was disappointed not to have cash on me to leave a small tip for the waiters.

07/08/2026: Very good and plentiful food, a simple atmosphere with small tables, and average wait times. We tried the razor clam spaghetti, which is tomato-based and features a razor clam sauce (not white, with whole clams). The seafood spaghetti was good and plentiful. The paccheri, which was good according to those who ate it, was perhaps the only dish that wasn't very generous. The fried food was also plentiful (including lots of fried sage and vegetables, all very crunchy), and the fried cod on a bed of leeks was also good. Prices are generally good, although I have a few observations, both good and bad :-): the first courses, at €14, are good and plentiful, but definitely below average. The fried dishes, at €20, are a bit above average, although the large portion makes up for it. The fried cod on a bed of leeks, which cost €20, was six bites, definitely expensive in my opinion. In the end, we spent €31 each for four people: three first courses and a seafood appetizer, two main courses, a dessert basket, two sgroppini and a sorbet, one coffee, and three bottles of water (no wine). 05/08/2026: My favorite! Relaxing atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious food, and large portions. Loved it! Chill atmosphere, super nice staff, great fish dishes with large portions. Definitely going back!

13/08/2026: We found it average. The dishes were prepared as they should be, the service was adequate. We enjoyed the octopus, a fairly generous dish served with an excellent side dish, but we didn't like the desserts. The selection of bottles was decent, with some reasonably priced labels (€18). The only two things we didn't like were the injustice of the three euro per person cover charge, and the microfiltered water, which we found to taste like chlorine, which forced us to buy bottled water, which was also three euros each if I'm not mistaken.

06/08/2026: We go to La Branchina every year and have always loved the truly excellent food and the wonderful atmosphere. One of my mother's wishes was to celebrate her birthday at a table right by the water, so this year we came **specifically a week early to reserve**. It was even more important to us because this is the fifth consecutive year my mother has celebrated her birthday here. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told that our table was inside and that we hadn't requested a table near the water when we made the reservation, which is simply not true. We then waited outside for about 20 minutes, without receiving an apology or an offer of anything to drink. The food and location remain splendid, which is precisely why the experience was even more disappointing. We weren't expecting special treatment, just that our reservation, made well in advance, would be honored. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a very special evening for my mother's birthday and the realization of her little dream of dining by the water turned into a huge disappointment.

21/08/2026: I went to Ristorante Armanda for dinner with friends. The experience was very positive. All the dishes we chose were excellent, the fish was excellent and fresh, and the portions were generous. Furthermore, the staff was truly friendly. I'd also like to compliment Margherita, the young woman who served us the entire evening. She was very kind, attentive to our requests, and professional. Overall, a restaurant worth trying.

12/08/2026: Four of us waited an hour for a plate of pasta each. Disgraceful!!!!!

22/08/2026: A very pleasant family dinner. Excellent, courteous, and punctual service, spacious tables, and excellent local cuisine (trabaccolara, Viareggio cacciucco). Prices are in line with the location and season. We returned a year later, and were offered a table outside, as there were no more seats available inside. They told us it wouldn't be noisy, but in reality, our dinner was marred by the infernal noise of all kinds of vehicles just inches away. Certain tables, at certain prices, simply can't be offered. It's better to say they're not available. We found the prices higher than last year, while the service is still excellent. The raw fish was below expectations.

14/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic food—seafood, fish—and excellent, very professional and friendly service. One of the very best seafood restaurants we've encountered on numerous holidays in Italy!

16/03/2026: We had booked with The Fork, they cancelled the reservation with the reason "closure of the restaurant" instead, passing by us to reach another restaurant we see that it is open...

13/03/2026: Truly excellent restaurant in the Darsena district of Viareggio. A charming and well-kept venue with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive, friendly, and professional. We started with a five-course appetizer, each one more delicious than the last. This was followed by a sublime Viareggio-style risotto, and truly special paccheri with calamari and shrimp. To finish, a homemade dessert: a simply wonderful strudel with ice cream. An experience I absolutely recommend.

22/07/2026: We had dinner for two at this restaurant with a casual, family atmosphere. We had gnocchi with scampi and gorgonzola and a fresh sea bass weighing almost half a meter. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. A wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back. Bill €40 each.

10/04/2026: Delicious pizza by the slice, soft and crispy... tastes and flavors just like they used to be. It's never a bad idea to return, but there's a risk you might not find anything left, so it's always best to book. Excellent.
