09/08/2026: An unexpected, typically Sicilian return
A very comfortable beach, with deckchairs and sun loungers at a very reasonable price. Compared to other beaches, this one struck us for its authenticity.
It has showers and a simple, traditional restaurant.
Mrs. Carmelina welcomed us with a smile and kindness.
Crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere.
We also ate very well and will definitely return. I recommend it!!
21/07/2026: We arrived from Hotel Bel Soggiornó by transfer. The price of 18E/person includes a sunbed and umbrella as well as the round-trip transfer. The beach has a beautiful view of the open sea. This is a quieter, calmer and less crowded stretch of beach. There is also a shower, which you don't have to pay extra for. The restaurant has very delicious pasta and fish dishes, salads at a reasonable price, between 10-20 Euros. Panini is 6 Euros. Espresso is 1 Euro! I couldn't believe it! The service is courteous and polite, fast. We remember the time spent here with fondness!

03/08/2026: I've been waiting a long time for a fillet like this with such a pepper sauce! It was delicious! The appetizers were mediocre, but the main course was definitely worth it. / Friendly staff / Restaurant is on the street and therefore a bit noisy.

the Lido was well-equipped and clean, the restrooms were clean, the lunch was excellent, and the staff were very friendly!! I highly recommend it!
22/08/2026: The beach area is overrated. While it’s beautiful, it’s incredibly crowded. It’s conveniently located near the cable car, but upon arrival, they asked if we had a reservation. Funny enough, I attempted to book with them on their Instagram twice without any response. I even texted the phone number listed on Google, but that didn’t reply either. They told us that they were fully booked and then all of a sudden offered us a spot. However, they charged us 70 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella in August 2026. The sunbeds were very close to each other. There are other beaches in Taormina that even offer shuttle service from your hotel for half the price. Considering these factors, I don’t think it’s worth the hassle and expense.

01/07/2026: A disgrace to Italian cuisine. The risotto was overcooked, with rice swimming in old oil. The white wine was poor quality and barely chilled. Cars drove through the narrow alley, almost passing right through the plate. A typical tourist trap.
29/06/2026: I went to this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed excellent linguine with swordfish and fresh mint.

25/08/2026: I'm talking about the pizza part of the place: a truly fantastic place! Not only for the quality of the pizza, but also for the spectacular location. The balcony offers a wonderful view of the sea and the Ancient Theater of Taormina, creating a truly evocative and unforgettable atmosphere.
The pizza was delicious, well-made, and with quality ingredients. A special mention goes to Massimo, the waiter who welcomed and served us with great kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. He immediately made us feel at ease and made the evening even more enjoyable.
A wonderful experience, which I absolutely recommend to anyone in Taormina! 🍕❤️🌊

23/08/2026: We dined at Rosso Divino and the experience was excellent, perfectly in keeping with the sophisticated atmosphere of Taormina's historic center.
Upon arrival, we were shown the live fish, a gesture we greatly appreciated as it demonstrates the attention, transparency, and care in selecting the ingredients.
The dinner was well executed, with dishes expertly prepared using fresh ingredients, in a pleasant and refined setting. Overall, a high-quality evening, confirming Rosso Divino as a solid choice for those seeking quality in the heart of Taormina.

20/08/2026: We arrived without a reservation and were greeted by very friendly staff who, while we waited for a table (which didn't take long), offered us drinks.
The fresh fish counter, prominently displayed at the entrance, looked promising, and the dishes we selected lived up to expectations.
The charming atmosphere amidst the alleys is occasionally accompanied by pleasant live music.
18/08/2026: The tuna and risotto were delicious, but the pasta lacked truffle flavor. The service was very friendly.

11/07/2026: We really enjoyed our evening at La Capinera! We had the tasting menu with 8 courses and chose a wine package with 4 glasses. The food was over all very good, and the service was even better! We felt very well taken care of during the entirety of our dining experience.
We found it a little uncomfortable that there were no door locks in the bathroom.
10/07/2026: My family and I went for dinner at an interesting restaurant. Good service, great view of the bay. We ordered the tasting menu: two meat and two seafood dishes. Overall, it was tasty, but nothing special. I don't know how they got a Michelin star. We also ordered the wine pairing menu, which was a complete disappointment. Either the restaurant skimped on the wine, or the sommelier was lousy. Another downside is the proximity to the train line (literally right next to it) and the corresponding noise from passing trains, although fortunately there were only three during dinner. For dinner for four and three wine pairings, we paid almost 800 euros. Definitely not worth the money.
