13/06/2025: We had booked for outside at 20:30. When we arrived the restaurant was heaving and our table was unavailable.
We were offered a glass of prosecco and waited. We were offered a table inside which we grabbed.
This place is really busy.
Gianne Luca is a true performer. He entertained and informed us about the specials and the menu.
The food was prompt and delicious.
An excellent meal and we would go again in a heartbeat.

25/01/2026: Service is a disaster. Zero customer service.
18/01/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00 on New Year’s Day, but were not seated until 12:47. During this time, staff repeatedly told us it would be “another 10 minutes,” which was said multiple times without any clear update or honesty about the delay.
While waiting, we could overhear staff discussing that the owner had decided to open at 12 following New Year’s celebrations, and that several staff members did not want to be there. When we eventually entered the restaurant, tables were still being set up, and we were asked to wait in a seating area for a further extended period.
Once seated, we were not provided with menus or offered drinks. After asking three separate times for menus—each time being told “five minutes”—a further 15 minutes passed with no service. At that point, we decided to leave.
For an establishment that presents itself as high-end and holds a Michelin star, this level of organisation, service, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Delays can happen, but poor communication, lack of basic service, and unprofessional behaviour are not acceptable at this standard. The experience did not meet expectations, and staff training and customer service clearly need improvement.

11/11/2025: The restaurant is run by an Italian and a Polish woman (both serving customers). The menu is in Polish. It's tucked away in a quiet area. It's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of tables. The food is delicious, just like in Italy. I highly recommend it.
10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu.
The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50.
The cozze is a dream.
Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).
22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

15/07/2025: Preciosa ubicación, buena comida y sensación general! Un lugar seguro para cenar por la noche. La sopa de tomate estaba brillante y la pasta de pesto rojo también.
14/07/2025: Location incantevole con vista sulla cattedrale, atmosfera intima e servizio cordiale. Piatti tipici siciliani ben eseguiti, pesce fresco e dolci artigianali ottimi. Ideale per una cena romantica nel cuore di Taormina.

28/10/2025: It's a wonderful restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine, very friendly staff, good wine, and a lovely atmosphere. Nothing to say, just highly recommended. We always love coming back. The best place in all of Taormina.

24/06/2025: La mia esperienza in questo ristorante è stata decisamente negativa. Il pesce crudo, che avrebbe dovuto essere il punto di forza del menù, era chiaramente al limite di freschezza, se non passato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è inaccettabile: prezzi alti per piatti privi di gusto, mal bilanciati e dall’aspetto trascurato. L’estetica è trascurata, con accostamenti discutibili e una cura inesistente per i dettagli.
Inaccettabile poi trovare nel piatto il carapace del granchio lasciato lì senza alcun criterio: una scelta di pessimo gusto, che compromette sia la fruibilità del piatto che l’esperienza complessiva.
Unica nota positiva, la possibilità di cenare all’esterno con vista sulla piazza. Peccato che anche questa venga rovinata da una postazione scomodissima, con tavoli così stretti da rendere difficile l'accesso
22/06/2025: Molto deludente. I balconcini panoramici sulla piazza, sono piccolissimi e scomodi. I decantati piatti di pesce senza carattere, sapori slegati e, per questo, ingiustificatamente costosissimi . Spaghetti all'astice meno che mediocri, della pasta tipo gnocchetti con broccoli e gamberi rossi di Mazara, con gamberi senza sapore assolutamente non freschi ed affogati in un incomprensibile sugo con broccoli che induce seri interrogativi sul percorso formativo dello chef. Insipidi e malamente riscaldati gli antipasti. Dulcis in fundo, cannoli siciliani insignificanti ripieni solo ai lati, con cannolo praticamente per lo più vuoto. Il conto è stato il colpo di grazia 241 euro in due. Questo ristorante è un enorme bluff.

02/05/2025: Nos sentamos a tomar una copa, vino un camarero arrogante que ni siquiera podía decir POR FAVOR. Nunca he conocido a un camarero más grosero, no podíamos esperar a tomar nuestras copas y marcharnos, horror.

En primer lugar el servicio - simplemente se olvidaron de lo que pedimos, nos trajeron antipastoso típico que es como plato de bienvenida en todas partes en Taormina, y simplemente lo agregaron a nuestra factura más tarde! Olvidé que preguntamos por vino y demás. Pero lo más interesante fue que al final cuando recibimos nuestra factura nos confundimos ya que adicionalmente a “por coperta” deberíamos pagar un 10% como “por servizio”!! Y usted no encontrará esta línea en ningún otro restaurante allí. Así que, definitivamente no recomendaría este lugar! BTW. La comida en sí era demasiado gorda, aceitosa, no sabrosa.

08/05/2025: Vino a través de este lugar en nuestro primer día en Taormina para el almuerzo. Tuvimos un gran almuerzo en una bonita terraza. La pizza era la mejor que tuvimos en Taormina y una gran carbonara también. Terminé viniendo aquí para almorzar dos de los cuatro días aquí. Buena relación calidad-precio y lo recomendaría.
04/05/2025: Lindo comedor con vista, pero eso es todo. La comida es promedio, pero sorprendentemente el vino fue diluido. Pedimos una jarra de vino tinto de la casa y nos quedamos atónitos cuando lo probamos y obviamente era medio agua. Nunca he tenido esto en ningún restaurante.

Tiramisu'

20/10/2024: Giro il mondo per lavoro e mi occupo, manco a farlo a posta, di ristorazione. Sono venuto qui al tiramisù 2 volte finora e posso confermare che preparano il miglior linguine all'astice possibile. Semplice, genuino, pochi ingredienti, espresso, buono. Con le materie prime che usano il piatto è da 110. Se cambiassero tipo di pasta sarebbe 110 e lode con bacio accademico. Però non posso assolutamente non menzionare Silvio, valore aggiunto di questo ristorante. Elemento di indiscussa simpatia.
