22/02/2026: We got married in Lipari on October 4th. It was an intimate civil ceremony, with 25 guests in total. Following an excellent lunch and some excellent reviews, we chose Sangre Rojo restaurant for our celebration. Nunzia guided us through the lunch menu and table settings, respecting our desire for simplicity and suggesting what she felt would be appropriate, but also gently and firmly advising us against what she deemed unsuitable. The lunch went very well, and we won't waste time raving about the raw antipasti, the octopus and bean soup, the busiate pasta with anchovies and fennel, and the citrus-stuffed calamari, because they simply have to be tried (no more fuss). A special mention, however, goes to the panna cotta with freshly picked figs, which overcame the feeling of satiety in all (all!) of our guests. The view, with the Lipari coast stretching into the blue sea, did the rest. A huge thank you to Nunzia, her family, and all the staff for their kindness and professionalism! Highly recommended!

30/01/2026: I've been to dinner several times, accompanying guests from the boat I worked on... the restaurant is worth it in every way... the view, the welcome, the professional, attentive, and friendly service... the carefully prepared dishes of an innovative cuisine that still maintains Aeolian and Sicilian traditions... the well-stocked wine cellar. You can also start the evening by booking an aperitif while admiring a spectacular sunset.
The guests were enthusiastic and satisfied. We warmly thank all the staff who made our evenings relaxing and, above all, cheerful, always capable of providing a smile. PS: Book in advance... it's a very popular place.

27/10/2025: I went to this place because some friends recommended it. Besides the excellent food, the evening was enlivened by the pleasant music of Pino Portelli.

21/12/2025: Eating is one of life's pleasures, and at L'Anfora it was all a pleasure. The flavors of the island, the passion of the chef, from the appetizer to the dessert, I treated myself, and so did my father, who is also a chef. An experience I recommend to everyone. The service and the cuisine were all good. Thank you for this moment.
27/10/2025: I spent a lovely evening with friends at this restaurant, located in the center of Lipari, in a charming little alley. The service was impeccable, and I felt pampered and assisted by the staff, who were always available to help with any wine recommendations or other requests. Not to mention the delicious food, made with excellent ingredients (rare to find) and prepared with love and passion, without being overpriced. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. I recommend it to everyone, and I'll definitely be back.

Ristorante Le Terrazze di Eolo

21/10/2025: For me, the island of Stromboli is incredibly interesting. Swimming on the pleasant black sand in the warm sea (early October) with the volcano in the background made a strong impression on me. The town of Stromboli is unique, with narrow, walled streets, along which Piaggio tricycles travel at high speeds – both for goods and passengers.
The lack of cars is a charm. From the volcano's viewpoint (290 meters above sea level), you can also catch a beautiful sunset.
30/09/2025: Absolutely enchanting and romantic location.
The food was okay, but the location is included in the price, so expect to pay a lot more than in Sicily.

19/09/2025: Hotel overlooking the sea... we stayed in this splendid hotel on September 25th and the feeling, from the room, was that of being on a cruise ship with a 180-degree view of the waves. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean. The breakfasts and meals at the partner restaurant "Nino sul Mare," located a few steps from the hotel, were also excellent. The pizzeria with a terrace directly below the hotel makes delicious pizzas; you absolutely must try the pizza with figs, prosciutto crudo, and spicy pistils... a delight! A special thanks to Giorgia, who, with her professionalism and kindness, made our stay even more pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!

18/11/2025: Unfortunately, I live far from this shop, where I would be a loyal customer. They have everything I consider a treat and that gives me peace of mind. Luckily, online orders exist. I was really pleased with the service, very fast, and the package was well-packaged. Thank you.

12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more.
Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange...
Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway.
That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata...
The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

01/08/2025: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo in questo ristorante, su una bella terrazza con vista mare. Abbiamo mangiato pane cunzato, frittura mista, spiedini di pesce spada. Buon cibo, piatti tipici, servizio veloce e prezzi adeguati.
22/07/2025: Luftiger Terasse, Blick aufs Meer, sehr gutes Essen: Pizza blitzschnell am Tischund köstlich,,Risotto und Nudel absolut top! Hauswein kühl und leicht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)
