22/11/2025: Had dinner for two this evening. Excellent value for money. The fish is incredibly fresh and expertly cooked. The sardines alla beccafico are delicious, as are the mixed fried fish and the raw ham from Mazara del Vallo. The caponata is the best. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable reviewing this restaurant's dishes, having twice experienced a very unpleasant situation involving gluten contamination with my daughter. The first time, it happened, and we reluctantly let it go. But the second time, despite carefully reporting and highlighting it when booking, the contamination was even more severe, as the daughter (a celiac) immediately became very ill with clear signs of serious gluten contamination. I therefore feel compelled to advise against dining for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, given the restaurant's lack of attention to issues related to intolerances or, even worse, food allergies, which can seriously affect particularly sensitive individuals. I advise the owners to raise this issue with their chef and the entire kitchen staff.

15/03/2026: Found by chance... we were looking for a different place from the ones we had the previous evenings, very nice place and the guys who welcomed us were very kind, they let us sit without any reservations... they welcomed us with crunchy smoked vegetables topped with salted ricotta and hazelnuts... delicious! We had second courses and side dishes, tuna in a crust good but raw in the center, in fact I asked for it to be cooked a little more... lentils and cuttlefish good... as well as the pork cheek... we will definitely be back and I recommend it

06/01/2026: To celebrate our third wedding anniversary with my little family, we chose this beautiful, warm and welcoming location. The qualified wait staff immediately put us at ease. Congratulations to the chef for the culinary experience, but especially to the entire staff (Francesco Castelli and Giada Licata) 🔝

03/03/2026: We stopped for lunch, so we didn't eat much, but what we ordered (pasta alla Norma, parmigiana) was very good. The portions were especially generous. Definitely worth a try for dinner. Prices are reasonable.

13/12/2025: Golf as you'd wish: 18 holes at Verdura Golf Club – completely stress-free, pure enjoyment. Perfect weather, a stunning course, and so relaxed that even the ball seemed to know where it was going (most of the time, anyway...). The welcome was incredibly warm; you immediately feel at home and in good hands. Everything ran smoothly, no waiting, no pushing – just play, enjoy, and admire the view in between. To top it all off, a wonderfully cold, delicious beer awaited us after the round, which definitely performed as well as the course itself. In short: A thoroughly enjoyable day of golf in Sicily that you'd gladly repeat immediately. Highly recommended! Thank you!

29/08/2025: Had a bad experience here 2 years ago. Maybe it was the yeast, but I had a bad night visiting the bathroom a few times. To give it credit, I had a takeout recently which was fine after. Maybe it was just that one bad pizza. But I guess we all have to take our chances!

29/09/2025: The best restaurant we visited in Sicily. Located in the beautiful mountain town of Campobello, it's family-run. The people are warm and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. They serve wonderfully delicious and affordable pizza from the wood-fired oven. They also offer delicious and unique seafood specialties. We stayed in Campobello for a few days and ate here every day. I can truly recommend everything on the menu. Outside, there's a large terrace on the plaza, which also has a small slide and a play area for children.

16/03/2026: For work in Porto Empedocle, I was recommended this Pizzeria Trattoria Il Ritrovo. What can I say? The quality of the dishes is truly astonishing. The pizza is made with fresh, carefully selected ingredients. The dough is light, fragrant, and easy to digest. The first courses deserve special praise. The portions are generous, the dough is always perfectly cooked, and the toppings are rich yet harmonious. Special praise goes to the waiters, always smiling, kind, and professional. Highly recommended.
