25/07/2026: A very welcoming restaurant, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. The prices are reasonable; we've eaten at much worse places for the same price. We loved everything: the atmosphere, the service, and the food. It's very well located on the main street of the historic center.

07/05/2026: Sunday lunch was a gathering of local family and relatives, full of Italian flair. The seafood was fresh! The tiramisu for dessert was amazing! And of course, the location offers a view of the temple!

06/06/2026: Great location at the start of the historic town and near the information center. Parking (paid: €2 for 6 hours) right next door. Very welcoming staff and menus available in French. Excellent Aperol Spritz! A wide variety of dishes makes choosing the hardest part! We recommend the amberjack with eggplant pie, the seafood linguine, the stuffed squid/mussels/clams, the tiramisu... The only downside was the slightly long wait for our food, but it was well worth it as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal afterwards. A lovely spot for a delicious meal, perfect before or after a stroll through the old town 😊

06/08/2026: Great value for the money! Il Ritrovo is a great family restaurant which makes you feel as part of the family. All the dishes were delicious.

03/08/2026: The staff is friendly, but being on a pedestrian street, the atmosphere is a bit chaotic. The menu doesn't have a huge selection, but that's a good thing. Some portions are a bit small, especially for the price (e.g., fried sole). The pasta with red mullet didn't convince me, but that's probably a matter of personal preference.

14/08/2026: Embarrassed. Sometimes I wonder how people are used to eating and making sweeping judgments, because this is a place for truckers or business lunches. I'm editing my review because I've been told nothing is made clear: the menu describes raw red shrimp without any explanation, and they serve four red shrimp on two lettuce leaves. It costs €18. On the seafront, they'll get you a mixed raw fish for the same crazy price. Here, the menu is indefensible simply because it's simple; it's just predictable and banal, and has nothing special. Even the caponata, which you'd expect to be delicious without even thinking about it, wasn't very good, and it tasted awful. I also find it strange that all the fish is declared fresh when in reality it isn't, or at least not all of it. If the fish is good, there's no need to overdo it with various condiments. Sauces or anything else. To top it off, a €2.50 cover charge for eating on paper tablecloths, paper napkins, poorly placed cutlery, and not even a bread basket, half a loaf of baguette (not even local bread) badly cut and placed on a small plate. With €10 for cover charges, more than four bags of Turin breadsticks, we could have bought a 2kg pack.

10/08/2026: The pizza was very reasonable and the service was very fast. They explained the specialty fish very well and it was delicious. I would definitely come back if in the area.

21/04/2026: We went there with friends a few weeks ago for an aperitivo. A sunset aperitivo is an experience I recommend to everyone: sipping a drink while the sun sinks into the sea, surrounded by the manicured greenery of the golf course, is pure poetry. The atmosphere is refined yet relaxed, the service impeccable, and the light... well, that's indescribable.

21/04/2026: The property is meticulously maintained, boasting a stunning sea view. Impeccable service, with courteous and professional staff. The restaurant is also excellent, with high-quality dishes showcasing the local cuisine. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a few days of true well-being.

17/08/2026: Rude Owner - I've never felt so humiliated. It's Sunday, August 16th, and friends invited me to this pizzeria. Since I have allergies, I always go to talk to the chefs and pizza chefs to understand what I can eat and verify whether the foods (in this case, pizza) contain the substances I'm allergic to, one of which is "improvement" (an additive/baking powder). Only in this way can I be sure I can eat peacefully and not end up in the hospital. This is a situation I've learned to manage emotionally over the years, and it doesn't bother me when I go out for dinner with friends. ​When I asked to speak to the pizza chef and explained the reason, the owner stood in front of me, spreading his arms and placing himself between me and the counter. I politely explained that only the pizza chef could give me certainty about the ingredients in the dough, since I'd had a manager assure me in the past that the ingredients were allergen-free, even though they were, putting me at risk of getting sick. At that point, the man raised his voice, saying that his word should be enough for me and that I was wasting his time. He didn't answer, when I repeatedly asked him if he personally made the dough. He then took a bag of dried product (which he claimed was used), rudely telling me to read it and that that was enough for me. He added that if he had ten people like me, "preventing him from working with all these questions" and wasting all that time, he would have to close down. After urging him to tone it down—and completely ignoring privacy, given that he shouted out my health problems in front of everyone—I left. I joined my friends at the table, said goodbye, and left. I have NEVER received such treatment, such rudeness, and such aggression from anyone, let alone a restaurant owner. Rudeness and an inability to manage stress are not the customer's problem.

16/08/2026: We had a truly positive experience at Coltello e Forchetta Pizzeria Ristorante! 🍕❤️ Beyond the quality, I'd especially like to highlight the kindness of the owner and all the staff. Everyone was very helpful, polite, and attentive to the customer. A special mention goes to Nadia, who was truly fantastic: she demonstrated immense patience and professionalism, even addressing some issues with great calm, courtesy, and helpfulness. It's not easy to find people who can handle every situation with this attitude. My compliments to the entire staff! It was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back. ❤️

18/06/2026: Perfect location, overlooking the old port. Large and welcoming apartment. Marina welcomed us and provided us with all the best tips for enjoying the island's beauty. A holiday in Lampedusa will always be too short!

16/06/2026: Perfect location for its strategic position, cleanliness, apartment amenities, and above all, the courtesy and helpfulness of the reception. If we ever return to Lampedusa, we'll definitely return to Cala Palme.

I've seen some underrated reviews, but in my opinion, either it's a bad day, it can happen, or it takes courage... If you're passing through, you can't miss it. 10 out of 10

08/08/2026: One of the best dinners I've had in recent memory. Chef Bonsignore manages to capture Sicily and bring it to the plate without distorting it, starting with excellent ingredients and crafting them with technique, sensitivity, and great personality. Each dish features carefully crafted contrasts: savory, acidic, sweet, textures, and aromas intertwine without ever becoming unnecessarily complicated. The result is intense, recognizable cuisine, profoundly Sicilian yet far from predictable. The desire to showcase the product, not hide it behind technique, is clearly evident. The quality truly surprised me: I've eaten at several Michelin-starred restaurants that have left far less impression on me. Here, however, there's flavor, identity, and dishes that will leave a lasting impression. If you're passing through Licata, L'Oste e il Sacrestano is one of those places worth stopping for. Kudos to Chef Bonsignore and the entire team: an experience worth repeating without a doubt.
