The added value of this restaurant is the wait staff: young, super-efficient, and professional, whose kindness and courtesy aren't just superficial, but, in my opinion, stem from a desire to do their job well. 22/07/2026: Pizzeria and restaurant since 1967 in the center of Sant'Antioco. Excellent both for the food and the pizza!! I had the pleasure of eating excellent grilled grouper, equally excellent sea bass fillet in a potato crust, and a seafood pizza as remarkable as the mutton my wife ate. Francesca, the owner, is truly kind and attentive, and Renzo is a truly talented chef. We will be returning to Sant'Antioco in August, and Renzo & Rita will be our go-to for food. 👏🏻👏🏻

09/08/2026: The restaurant's breathtaking location is superb, overlooking the church in the small square in the heart of Iglesias' old town. With dishes like fregola, dorado, and other seafood, "Villa di Chiesa" perfectly represents Sardinian cuisine. I couldn't find a single negative point. Making a reservation is always a good idea, as the restaurant is usually very busy, and deservedly so.

07/08/2026: The service was terrible: they didn't even bring the drinks on time and served all the dishes except one, which arrived another 20 minutes late. To make matters worse, they took forever to bring the bill and didn't even have the decency to offer the delayed drink or dish; they showed no sign of any kindness or sense of responsibility, which says a lot about them.

The underlying theme of the lunch was the prized bluefin tuna, of a truly superlative quality, presented and enhanced in every possible texture and nuance. We experienced a journey of excellence: from the appetizer salad (with tuna offered in two splendid variations) to the delicacy of the tartare, through the intensity of the ragù that seasoned the pasta, and finally a masterful tagliata. The culmination of the tasting journey is reached with a dish that celebrates the purity of the raw material: a true tribute to tuna carpaccio. Here, technique marries the carefree nature of a dish with a mere three-second dip in Mediterranean herbal tea. 20/08/2026: Nice restaurant. Good menu with prices slightly above the local average. The dishes are very well presented and tasty, but overall they lack a bit of depth, both in flavor and presentation.

31/07/2026: I wanted to taste the best tuna... and I found a place where tuna is considered a top-of-the-line product! A place where tuna represents the highest quality because they catch it themselves, take care of every detail, and serve it exactly as it should be to enhance its value. From appetizer to main course, we ate tuna and belly of excellent quality, flavor, and delicacy! The service is top-notch, but don't be intimidated by this, as the prices are perfectly aligned with the market. To wash it all down, a delicious Calaseta rosé... a perfect match for the delicious food.

29/07/2026: Friendly welcome, pleasant terrace. The baccalà appetizers were very good. The tartare was unseasoned and therefore uninteresting. The pistachio cheesecake dessert was just frozen ice cream, nothing special. They were out of tiramisu; perhaps it was good?

24/07/2026: We had dinner here twice during our stay, and it was excellent both times! The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming, right in the heart of Buggerru. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. One thing that made this restaurant truly special for me was that they offer gluten-free pasta, which can be difficult to find. Marta was absolutely wonderful—she speaks English, was incredibly kind and attentive, and was constantly making sure every guest was well looked after. She even offered me gluten-free bread without me having to ask, which I really appreciated. The homemade desserts are fantastic. We tried the Crème Brûlée and the Ricotta with strawberries, and both were absolutely delicious. We also loved the spring salad, the appetizers, and everything else we ordered. A big thank you to Marta and the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Buggerru!

06/08/2026: We went in and it said "air conditioned." It was unbearable to stay inside in the constant 40 degrees. We waited 1.5 hours for our dishes after several errors. Some of the food was good, others were too much to stomach. We'll never go back.
