13/10/2025: Let's start with the most important aspect: the food. Nothing to complain about, fresh fish, well-prepared and even original dishes (the gnocchi with mussels and pecorino cheese was exquisite). But overall, unfortunately, I found some shortcomings related to the service. Probably due to it being a Sunday, in a Taranto overrun with tourists (and for that we're all happy), but unfortunately, our service wasn't entirely adequately timed and served. The fact that orders aren't recorded already hinted at this, but there were three of us, and managing to mess up a first course (even though they kindly offered to change it) and appetizers honestly left me a bit perplexed. A bit pricey, considering we ordered an appetizer (a bit meager, being only gratinated mussels, marinated anchovies, and 3 shrimp with pancetta... leaving aside for a moment the fact that we had also ordered stuffed cuttlefish as appetizers, which then became calamari because they were not available and, in the meantime, became calamarata with sauce... but oh well, still excellent, eh, they arrived only after the first courses and I had reminded him that we were waiting for them to arrive). Would I go back? Definitely. But on a less busy day and hoping to see the orders taken down. Come on 💪🏻

10/10/2025: Excellent sea food. Oysters, gratinated mussels, and octopus salad were perfect.

18/10/2025: Truly excellent seafood restaurant! Everything is fresh, carefully cooked, and impeccably served. I really appreciated the focus on gluten-free options: tasty, safe, and of the same quality as traditional dishes—a rare find! The staff is friendly, helpful, and immediately makes you feel at ease. The service is attentive but never intrusive, exuding passion and true hospitality. A place I will definitely return to and one I recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking quality, hospitality, and top-notch seafood!

31/07/2025: Three adults, a very light appetizer to share, a first course for three (yes, just one), water, and off we go. Total bill: €91. No, we didn't go to the wrong restaurant, nor did they serve us caviar and white truffle. The receipt? An abstract poem: no details on the dishes, no clear voice. Just a final total worthy of a four-course seafood dinner each... in downtown Milan, perhaps. The quality? Honest... but only if we were at a passing service station, not a restaurant that demands gourmet prices. We've traveled halfway around the world, eaten everywhere, and we're always happy to spend money on good food. But being taken for a fool, no thanks. A word of advice for the managers: a little more transparency and a little less imagination in calculating the bill wouldn't hurt. For now, let's leave the "Peschereccio" at port... and we certainly won't return.

03/10/2025: I will remember Mario's service for the rest of my life...but I was there 2 years ago...seeing the reviews I would say no...he was old and maybe he doesn't work anymore

19/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, everything seemed good, but I spent the night in the bathroom... unfortunately, my experience was not positive considering the medium-high prices!

Valentina welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel immediately at ease... amazing pool, high quality dinner, kind and friendly staff... clean room and a delicious breakfast ♥️ we will definitely be back ♥️

20/07/2025: Per me tornare a Casa Mita è sempre speciale. Accoglienza calorosa da parte dello staff, cibo super squisito, gli antipasti sono qualcosa di meraviglioso, per non parlare dei primi. Questa volta ci siamo concessi anche un dessert che ovviamente ha superato le aspettative. L’atmosfera e la pace di questo posto non hanno rivali.

02/06/2025: Per il nostro anniversario di matrimonio abbiamo deciso di rimanere nella nostra bella Taranto dove è possibile mangiare bene tutto ma ancor di più pesce e in questo ristorante lo preparano bene e con attenzione. Servizio ottimo attenzione al cliente hanno reso la nostra permanenza eccellente. Consigliatissimo ci tornerò senz'altro.

07/10/2025: The only strong point of this place is its location, but not the rest. A man who I believe is the owner was smoking a cigarette inside the restaurant (health and hygiene regulations need to be reviewed). The food was cooked without love or respect for the fish and the city. The worst thing is that for POS payment, he charged an extra euro in commission for each customer. I feel sorry for such a long-established restaurant in such a beautiful city. You could have done better!

07/10/2025: I was truly thrilled with my experience at this seafood restaurant! The quality of the dishes is excellent: ultra-fresh ingredients and flavorful preparations that highlight the natural flavors of the sea. The staff is welcoming and very professional, always attentive to every request. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a dinner with friends or a special occasion. I highly recommend trying their mixed antipasto and seafood risotto, simply divine. A place I will definitely return to!

16/08/2025: A terrible experience... we ate pizzas with a strangely sweet dough... therefore, no salt. I ordered a pizza and received a completely different one, which I sent back. The tragedy, however, came with the bill, where they charged, or at least attempted to charge, us for the pizza they had made the mistake... which we promptly had deducted... 12 euros for nothing. (And they knew this very well when we requested it.) Finally, as if that weren't enough... two one-year-olds in this restaurant were charged a 3-euro cover charge (for what, for the use of the space?) When we pointed this out at the cashier, the husband and wife team verbally attacked us! A truly terrible experience.

05/10/2025: Excellent food, elegant atmosphere. The deli was my salvation when I planned a last-minute Sunday lunch. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. I can't fully comment on the table service because I used the deli to purchase ready-made dishes, but I think there's no doubt about the quality of the service. Excellent value for money.
