18/01/2026: I went for lunch with my partner at the recommendation of the owner of the B&B where we stayed for a few days. Everything was excellent, the staff were kind and welcoming. Just a few small flaws, but nothing serious. No à la carte menu. Maybe on Sundays they prefer a fixed menu. I don't know 🤷🏽‍♀️ They only asked if we wanted white or rosé wine/still or sparkling water. For the rest, they told us they'd start with hot fish appetizers, followed by two first courses, and then, if we wanted, fried fish and sorbet. So, of course, we started with lunch, with a small warning to avoid tomato-based dishes for me. Excellent and well-proportioned appetizer, I loved the gratin mussels 🤤 with the risotto I was about to explode and when the paccheri arrived, alas I had to remind the waiter that I couldn't have tomato 🤦🏽‍♀️ he apologized and immediately remedied by having them make linguine with clams which I must say was good but I would have used less pepper (for my personal taste). Then we gave up 😅 I really wanted to try the fried food but I was stuffed. If I were to return to Taranto I would most likely eat there again but I would try during the week to see if things are different.

17/01/2026: We happened upon this place one Saturday and had a truly excellent experience. The food is plentiful and carefully prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly. My compliments go to Nello, who took our orders and was truly friendly and helpful.

28/12/2025: The service was impeccable for our Christmas Eve 2025 dinner. Light and crispy fried food, delicious fish cured meats. The house motto, "The Sea Fried Well," reflects the skill and experience of the chef and manager. 25/01/2026: Since I discovered this restaurant, every time I'm in Taranto I want to go there and tell my colleagues about it. The atmosphere is very refined, the service is attentive and punctual, the dishes are masterfully presented and are delicious and of the highest quality. And when it comes to the fateful moment of the bill, you're even pleasantly surprised. I find it strange not to have reviewed it before. As I said, for years it has been a point of reference for me every time I visit Taranto. I will return and continue to recommend it.
