16/08/2026: Run away if you have celiac disease. They sell you a gluten-free pizza for celiacs, but they can't guarantee non-contamination. Untrained staff, arrogant and ignorant owners had the nerve to tell us, "Don't worry, celiac disease doesn't end in the emergency room," and to top it off, "We're too demanding on gluten-free." Not to mention, it took more than 40 minutes for four takeout pizzas ordered at 8:10 PM, while the place was empty.

16/08/2026: The ambience is elegant, but the quality of the food is somewhat inconsistent: some dishes are good (octopus appetizer, potato tart, and turnip greens), but there are also some gross errors: a nice, overcooked, stringy sea bass fillet (one suspects it was defrosted or recycled, perhaps from lunch). With the prices they charge, such mistakes are unacceptable!

15/07/2026: My mother and I stayed for 3 days. Mrs. Vittoria and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The B&B is centrally located, just 15 minutes from the beach. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was plentiful with quality products. We highly recommend it and will be back.

13/07/2026: In the pearl of the Gargano, this B&B and restaurant was truly a treat. A relaxing weekend, enchanted by the B&B's strategic location, with the pedestrian street on one side and access to the wonderful historic center on the other. Delicious food, a well-stocked breakfast including fresh local fruit, homemade cakes, croissants, and shortbread biscuits, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The room had a sea view, was clean, and smelled great. Congratulations to all the staff and to Mrs. Vittoria. A heartfelt thank you 💓 Raf Giusy

20/09/2025: Fantastic! Unfortunately, all the menus in town seem pretty much the same. Not so here, because there aren't any. Local cuisine, just the way you like it. You start with a generous selection of appetizers. Not just the usual fare, but typical regional specialties. If you manage to stick around for the second course, you'll be treated to first-class, handmade pasta in various styles. We didn't have time for the main course, but we did have a legendary tiramisu. Handmade, of course, and incredibly delicious. However, people with cat allergies should avoid this restaurant, as they are everywhere. If you embrace this and enjoy the experience, it's simply fabulous. For me, it's simply the best restaurant in and around Vieste.

02/09/2025: A beautiful, rustic country house near Vieste. We went for lunch and received a very warm welcome. There's no menu; the dishes are chosen based on individual preferences or the owner's recommendations. The typical regional dishes are freshly prepared and incredibly delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience to discover authentic Italian cuisine.

13/08/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful, romantic, and very well-maintained. The service is top-notch: the staff is always attentive, helpful, and very polite. We've been to this place several times, and I have no reason not to recommend it. The dishes are also well-prepared and generous. Well done!

19/07/2026: We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed, even though we've been going there for years. The fried food was good, but the quantity was decidedly insufficient for the price. The pizzas had a nice crust, but they weren't cooked evenly: one, in particular, had a burnt crust, while the tomato sauce seemed practically raw, probably undercooked before being used. We politely asked for a replacement, especially since it was intended for children and we wanted to avoid any stomach problems, but the waitress's response was rather rude, simply saying "it wasn't her fault," without trying to resolve the situation. The service was also disappointing: the wait times were long, and on several occasions we had the impression that the waiters pretended not to hear us when we called to order or ask for something. Finally, when it came to the bill, we were also charged for the service for the cake we'd brought from home. If this is a restaurant policy, it's legitimate to enforce it, but it would have been appropriate to communicate this in advance. I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review for a restaurant we've always enjoyed, but this experience was truly disappointing in several ways. More than the food, what left a bad taste in our mouths was the way we were treated. For this reason, we're unlikely to return.

27/08/2026: Quiet place, okay food. We went for lunch as a couple on a Monday in late August. The restaurant is quiet, with limited seating but air conditioning. We had a main fish appetizer and two seafood troccoli. The appetizer consisted of five dishes, of which the octopus and mussels were very good, while the rest was okay (I didn't particularly like the shrimp). The pasta was good, although I would have liked a bit more pasta (my personal preference; the portion we were given is fine). The staff was calm and the service was quick. One thing to note is that the bathroom (very large) is located outside the building, even though it's close by, and the temperature difference between inside and outside (it was 36°C) is noticeable.

22/08/2025: Well-stocked beach, fabulous sea view...a little further on, walking towards the rocks, the sea is Caribbean-like with very warm water, immersed in nature!! I recommend it both for the location and for the bar service, which has a rotisserie full of delicious things to eat and, for those who want, there's also kebab and piadina shop!!! Showers are available for a fee at the price of 3 euros!!!

20/08/2026: The restaurant's location is undoubtedly splendid and evocative, but our overall experience (we were four adults and a child) fell far short of expectations, especially considering the nearly €90 per person. For what we ordered—four appetizers, three first courses, two second courses, two bottles of wine, and a dessert—the price might seem reasonable, but only if justified by the gastronomic experience and high-quality service. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes was neither excellent nor laudable, with truly minimal portions: the octopus appetizer, composed of just four tiny pieces (less than a tentacle in total), is a prime example. The gap between prices and the standard of service was also evident in the ambiance and service. With a €5 cover charge per person—even the full charge for the four-year-old girl who only ordered a first course—we found ourselves seated at plastic tables and chairs. The dining room exhibited several inattentive behaviors: the wine staff appeared poorly trained and unwelcoming, dishes were served with thumbs in the dish, and on one occasion, dishes were left for several minutes on the wrong table before simply being transferred to ours. To complete the picture, restrooms lacked paper and the toilets were broken. The beauty of the natural setting is undeniable, but it alone cannot compensate for such glaring shortcomings in attention to detail, the generosity of the dishes, and the professionalism of the dining room staff.

08/06/2026: The place is nice, clean and friendly, but for five normal appetizers (4 fish ones, and one cold cut), four fish first courses and one tomato-based one, four bottles of water without wine and second courses, €50 per person for a total of €250 seems a bit too much to me…

11/08/2026: The place is very well presented and well-kept, but unfortunately it's also very hot despite being close to the beach, perhaps due to the covered terrace. Personally, I didn't like the pizza; I found it heavy and poorly leavened. If you're looking for a soft, leavened pizza with a crispy crust, this isn't it. The music is rather intrusive and not as soft as you'd expect from a beachfront place. At a certain point, the DJ area, also from the place, the music from the speakers (what's the point?), and the chatter of the people overlapped. It was a real mess, and I felt very uncomfortable. The prices were high for the quality of the pizza and the overall organization.

09/08/2026: Kindness first and foremost, that's how I'd describe a day at the beach: the kindness of the owners and the beach staff, all in a tranquil atmosphere.
