31/01/2025: We, a couple, had lunch here twice during our week in Vieste. The first time it was randomly chosen, but we were treated to a fabulous meal consisting of 2 appetizers followed by spaghetti with mussels in a tomato and olive oil sauce and a grilled orata. Everything was done perfectly and generously served. The dessert was a chocolate soufflé with a pistachio filling. The second time was the piece de resistance. We preordered the zuppa di pesce, a combination of different local fishes in a rich broth with tiny vegetables and bread, in order to give the chef time to gather the ingredients. The broth was rich with the taste of the mixture of the five different fishes plus shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari. It was served in a giant vessel with grilled bread drenched with olive oil. It was the perfect zuppa and its memory will live on in my mind together with the kindness of Chef Elia who shared his philosophy of cooking with us. It was an experience that made our visit to Vieste a jewel that will shine on.

02/06/2025: English: Although the quality of the food, especially the fresh fish, was very high, the service was not up to par. We were seven people and we ordered three raw fish appetizers and four cooked fish appetizers. When paying, we were presented with a bill with three raw appetizers and seven cooked fish appetizers. Although the staff agreed with us, the owner refused to correct the mistake, claiming that the dishes had been placed in the center of the table and that therefore the choice of what to eat was left to the discretion of the customers. Not knowing the size of the restaurant's portions, and considering that the dishes had been placed in the center of the table to be shared, we did not pay particular attention to the amount of food we were ordering. Furthermore, we were charged for one more bottle of water than what we actually consumed. Therefore, I advise anyone who wants to have lunch or dinner at this restaurant to pay particular attention to the appetizers, to avoid unpleasant surprises like the one we experienced.

01/05/2025: Entrati senza nessuna aspettativa, abbiamo pranzato nella piccola terrazza esterna molto curata. Menu’ locale con piatti rivisitati e presentati in maniera gourmet. Gradito il benvenuto dello chef ,ottimi i grissini fatti in casa. Cameriere giovane molto professionale. Ottimo rapporto qualità /prezzo.

26/04/2025: Very well looked after, clean and no frills restaurant on the beach. Exceptional service for precision, clarity, courtesy and professionalism. Very good starters, the raw meat really excellent. We asked for fried calamari and they told us that there were none, paradoxically we appreciated this because it shows that they work mostly on fresh fish. For first courses we had a really tasty spaghettone with black garlic, and a risotto which was also very good. The problem is that they were both a little ahead of cooking. Very good desserts, I don't know if the ice cream was artisanal because it was a little cold on the palate, but overall it worked, delicious carrot cake. A place we would happily return to.

23/04/2025: Ormai è un rito, dopo la visita a San Pio da Pietralcina, andiamo a mangiare in questo ristorante. Ambiente familiare, sul mare, cucina semplice, pesce fresco, disponibili anche antipasti crudi...molto buoni. Alla prossima occasione ci torneremo certamente.

10/03/2025: Ospiti di in 50esimo anniversario di matrimonio siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpreso dalla bella location,abbiamo mangiato molto bene ,il servizio e la gentilezza del personale veramente merita un ringraziamento speciale. Siamo di Padova ma alla prossima occasione torneremo sicuramente! Grazie alla prossima

05/05/2025: This place was recommended to us, we trusted it, not at all crowded for an Easter Monday and without infamy or praise, there were two of us, with my partner we sat outside, slow service from the kitchen, unstable table outside in the alley, we ordered a tasting of raw meat for two (little selection) of which the sea urchins served without a teaspoon to help with the tasting and two first courses with octopus sauce and the other with stuffed cuttlefish sauce, ate it all because we are of the opinion that food should not be thrown away as long as it is edible, but really tasteless sauce, the fish only the presence but really tasteless and sauce among other things also undercooked. He gave the idea that it was a simple base of freshly made tomato sauce sautéed at the end of cooking with octopus frogs on one side and cuttlefish scraps on the other. The place is characteristic, the environment is quiet and the waitress at the tables is professional, good looking and attentive, but that's not enough, the cuisine needs to be improved a lot. Adequate price if we had eaten with taste and not out of appetite.

12/05/2025: Il titolo della recensione non è un caso…arrivati in questo posto, accolti in maniera amichevole ma al contempo appassionata e professionale (anche con i più piccoli) ci si sente in sublimazione. Mangiare letteralmente a picco sul mare ma soprattutto mangiare BENE è una esperienza che dallo stato solido di essere umano ti porta in una sorta di stato etereo e mistico. Posto incantevole , gestito da ragazzi preparati e simpatici e cibo preparato dalla chef sapientemente . Degne di nota le orecchiette con scampi e pomodini gialli… Ottima la selezione di vini ed anche i dolci… Per la giornata un po’ ventosa abbiamo dovuto mangiare all’interno (molto bello anche perché le vetrate non lasciano nulla all’immaginazione), ma ci riserviamo di ritornare in una giornata più calda (in vacanza) per mangiare sulle assi del trabucco. Sublime in tutto! Andateci !!!

05/05/2025: Trabucco adattato a ristorante, con piatti interessanti e molto bel presentati. Io ho assaggiato cozze ripiene (ottime) e orecchiette con zucca e seppia (buone ma non ottime) e tonno con grani di senape (diciamo meritava un 8 ma non un 10). Discreta la carta dei vini con molti vini locali , gentile in personale. Stupenda la vista. Conto in linea con la qualità e il posto.

16/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding promise and we chose very well! Excellent fish-based menu and service! A round of applause to Letizia who followed us from the first contact until the day itself, always available, great professionalism and patience; she created a beautiful cake cutting setup. I recommend it for anniversaries and events but also for an à la carte dinner. Lots of choice between raw seafood and cooked and excellent quality. It is located on the tourist port and the place is really beautiful, with large windows to enjoy the view of the sea.

11/05/2025: My review arrives a little late but it is right and proper to do it when you find a place where passion, professionalism and quality can be enclosed in one word "Spectacular" I have often had lunch at this restaurant and have always left satisfied every time. In every dish you can find the quality of the raw material and the search for new combinations and flavours. The menu never bores you and I would like to try every item written... The raw dishes are an explosion of sea in your mouth that make you experience a day at the seaside. The staff is friendly and professional but after all when there is a noteworthy owner it cannot be otherwise. But the icing on the cake comes on Easter Monday where despite the holiday, the sun outside the tables, the service and quality were impeccable, punctual and perfect. Congratulations 💯

17/05/2025: Partiamo dalla calorosa accoglienza di Adriano che mette da subito a proprio agio i clienti e, cura tutto nei minimi dettagli. Le specialità freschissime, delizia o anche i palati più esigenti. È una tappa da fare assolutamente.

03/03/2025: Da “Adriano” il titolare ho trovato qualità, gentilezza e tanta tanta attenzione. Ho dimenticato di comunicargli un paio di intolleranze alimentari e si è trovato in una situazione un po’ delicata ma devo dire che è stato molto bravo. Ha fatto di tutto per rendere la nostra domenica speciale. Antipasti e primi davvero molto buoni, il dolce è stato super . Ritorneremo molto volentieri. Bravo, Complimenti per l’attenzione che hai verso il cliente Dimenticavo…il prezzo è più che onesto.

Il locale offre un’atmosfera accogliente e raffinata, perfetta per chi desidera scoprire nuovi sapori senza rinunciare alla qualità delle materie prime. Una menzione speciale va agli uramaki, vere e proprie opere d’arte gastronomiche che rendono omaggio alla terra di Puglia e al territorio garganico: sorprendenti negli abbinamenti, con ingredienti come la salicornia, che regalano una nota fresca e sapida assolutamente unica.
