16/07/2026: One big issue, really bad food. The worst we had I. Polignano a Mare. The fish of the day. $104 for a simple orata. People are nice , it not worth a visit.
15/07/2026: We initially wanted to go to another restaurant nearby but it had no free tables. Thank God we stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem! The seafood was incredibly fresh, you just try the scampi tartare. We had also lobster pasta, a lot of grilled seafood, a few bottles of incredible wine and some desserts. They played Leonard Cohen which added so much to the atmosphere. The service was really good despite the fact that the waiter didn't speak a lot of English. They also offer a free parking space and are dog friendly!
A must visit, in my opinion, if you're looking for a chill non-touristy place with fresh seafood.

20/05/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely unwelcome. We found hair in the food, and the clams were clearly not fresh and badly overcooked. When we tried to politely explain that we were unhappy with the meal and service, the staff refused to listen and dismissed our concerns entirely. Despite the poor treatment, we were still forced to pay a service fee, which felt unreasonable considering the way we were treated. The overall attitude of the staff made us feel like a burden, even to the point of dropping the menus in front of us without basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.
17/05/2026: Good food, but very slow and evasive service that does not follow up with customers during dinner.
One of the main courses did not come with the others. The waiter noticed it and said - "wait a minute". We waited thirty minutes for it to arrive😔
The service showed no understanding that it was poor service.

11/06/2026: My husband and I stayed in San Vito for a few nights and had the pleasure of dining at La Colonna. This is the most beautiful place to dine overlooking San Vito Bay and the Abbey. We loved having a drink at sunset there every evening watching the fisherman. The service while friendly was a little chaotic but that made us love the place even more- it felt very Italian and somehow everything just worked. The food was good, not outstanding or memorable, but the hero of the place is the setting - so tranquil and peaceful - definitely worth a visit

08/08/2026: All the restaurants were full, so we headed to this one… which was empty. We can see why… tasteless food, undercooked pizza, typical dishes served only for two people, which severely limits the choices. Avoid it
05/08/2026: We ate carpaccio di tonno incredibly good, and the best thing was the rissotto ai frutti di mare, delicious and with sapori a mare.
We will definitely come back when we visit Polignano

03/05/2026: Unacceptable: Ghost reservation and zero respect.
A terrible experience and embarrassing management. We called this morning to reserve a table for lunch and received a confirmation. Once we arrived, we were told that due to a "communication error," there was no more room.
I find it unacceptable that a restaurant in Polignano would behave like this: they literally left us stranded on the street with two small children, without even trying to resolve the inconvenience they had caused. If you confirm a reservation verbally a few hours in advance, you have to guarantee it. If you're looking for reliability and respect for the customer, stay away.

20/05/2026: Servers are indifferent and inattentive. Food was just ok. We got a glass of wine which might have been 3 ounces, at best . Clearly they know it's mainly tourists coming in and they're one and done so they don't really give a damn. I wouldn't recommend this place. My bad for not reading all the lousy recent reviews before going in.

12/07/2026: Unfortunately, following the advice of those who had already been there, we booked this restaurant. The location is beautiful, but the rest is all to be reviewed. The appetizer arrived but since there were two of us, one immediately and the other after 20 minutes. From 8pm to 10pm we only had the two first courses, spaghetti with clams that were floating in the water (clams without shells) and the same spaghetti with mussels and clams. The taste was not bad but they were too floating. All the customers were poisoned by the biblical times. In the end, we left and paid for what we had consumed (we gave up on the second course given the times). The waiters tried to apologize but it's not their fault, perhaps the management made a mistake. It's a shame because the location is beautiful.
09/07/2026: Although I didn't sit down to eat, I urgently needed to use the restroom. I politely asked for permission, but they refused, saying that they would open in 15 minutes and that they were cleaning the place. Personally, I didn't find the explanation convincing and I felt that they simply didn't want to serve someone who wasn't a customer.
I understand that every business has its own policy, but in a case of real need, I expected a little more understanding and humanity. This particular experience left a very negative impression on me.

31/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. We arrived when the restaurant was almost empty, with plenty of available tables, yet we were only offered the most isolated table in the venue. When we politely asked if we could sit at another free table, the staff refused without giving any reasonable explanation or showing any willingness to accommodate us.
Good service starts with hospitality, and unfortunately that was completely missing here. We felt unwelcome from the moment we walked in. Based on this experience, we would not choose to visit this restaurant again.
31/07/2026: Bad service.. Verry bad... We wait for thr manager 30 min to teell that 10 people have seat separate...

11/06/2025: Consigliatisisimo..abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui per un aperitivo e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Ostriche , gamberi , scampi , polipetti,.tutto fresco e buonissimo.
02/06/2025: Esperienza davvero eccellente! Abbiamo gustato un aperitivo a base di crudi di pesce freschissimi, accompagnati da due calici di vino. Consigliatissimo per chi ama i sapori autentici del mare e vuole concedersi una pausa di gusto e qualità!

29/06/2025: Service expéditif, pas du tout attentionné. L’assiette de l’un de mes enfants a été retiré alors qu’elle n’avait pas terminé et même après l’avoir signalé, on m’a traité comme si j’étais en faute. Quant à la nourriture, la note de 3 suffit aussi.
21/05/2025: Onbegrijpelijk dat het hier niet drukker is. Het is echt heerlijk! De kaart is klein, maar top!!.

22/08/2024: Lido carino, l’unica cosa attrezzata, potete andare li anche senza prendere nulla se vi mettete sui lati del lido. Un po spartano come servizio, unica cosa che mi raccomando è di stare attenti a quando vi fanno i conti (sono furbi e non tanto bravi con la matematica) , chi vuole intendere intenda.
Per il resto nulla da aggiungere, il parcheggio si trova e si trova il classico parcheggiatore che chiede l’offerta. Un posto piacevole per passare una giornata in relax, la location è suggestiva e il personale è abbastanza cordiale anche se ripeto, spartano.
14/08/2024: Sempre bello una garanzia economico e il mare bellissimo e poi io adoro polignano è sempee un piacere ritornare dove si è stati bene

07/05/2025: IL SAGITTARIO, l’unico vero classico ristorante di Polignano a Mare, uno di quelli che ormai non esistono quasi più nelle località turistiche ma che, per fortuna, è riuscito a resistere negli anni grazie alla sua capacità di adeguarsi, evolversi ed adattarsi ai tempi restando sempre ancorato alla tradizione…
Nato come un ristorante a 360 gradi (carne, pesce, pizza), oggi ha inclinato la barra del timone leggermente verso un menù di mare con una scelta vastissima ma, conservando comunque le “certezze” che lo hanno reso noto nel tempo come dei primi stupendi ed abbondanti o come le bistecche che potete ammirare in foto o delle ottime pizze (stile barese).
Uno dei pochissimi locali di Polignano che sono riusciti a mantenere i prezzi ad un livello accettabile, anzi onesto, rimanendo punto di riferimento per tante famiglie e grandi (e piccole) tavolate di Amici.
Super Consigliato!
02/04/2025: Per festeggiare la festa delle nostre ladies, siamo stati a pranzo presso il rinomato ristorante di Polignano a Mare "Il Sagittario". Tutto molto buono, portate extra ed un ringraziamento al sig. Domenico titolare del ristorante per aver esaudito le nostre richieste con piatti che non erano inseriti nel menù. Alla prossima!
