28/08/2024: We were on holiday and during a day of touring in Bari I discovered this restaurant by chance. Excellent gluten free cuisine and more. From the appetizers to the desserts made by the owner who unfortunately I don't remember the name of, but I remember that she is also celiac. I highly recommend it for celiac friends.

11/12/2024: We ate at this restaurant during our night in Bari and it was amazing! The room is decorated beautifully and the service is very attentive. The food was delicious: every meal we took were well prepared, dessert was especially delicious! No doubt we will come back on our way back!

05/12/2024: I liked everything! The linguine with red prawns are special! Ditto the French dessert with pistachio and salted caramel. Friendly and very professional staff, welcoming and elegant environment. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes!

18/11/2024: The Routard guide recommends it. And it’s verified. We ring the bell and enter a restaurant with character. The service is “very attentive”. And the cuisine is refined. The regional wine recommended to us by the owner (who speaks French) was perfect. An address in Bari to remember.

02/11/2024: I had the pumpkin flan and the rabbit with chestnuts. The flan was really good, but the rabbit did not impress me. My bf had a very disappointing pasta (chestnuts, pecorino, and pancetta, I think) that I also tried and we both thought it lacked flavor. The pork filet was a bit chewy, too. As a regular restaurant, I would maybe give 4 stars, but for their prices I would expect better.

07/08/2024: During our stay in Puglia I did my search for recognized restaurants in the Polignaro a Mare and Bari area. I found this Michelin recommendation from the La Bul restaurant in Bari and we were definitely delighted with the treatment of chef Antonio Scalera and his sommelier. We chose the dark and amorios tasting menus with the wine list that goes with each dish. The combination of flavors in each of the dishes was delicious. The wines , original from Puglia region, for the menu were very good . The restaurant also has an a la carte menu. We have tasted restaurants with Michelin stars in the US and Europe and this restaurant has nothing to envy them!!! It is excellent!! And the prices are very reasonable compared to prices in the US. Definitely the best food I have eaten in this area. If you are going to be in the Polignaro a Mare or Bari area, I highly recommend this culinary gem!!!

09/10/2024: Le charme italien résumé dans la qualité de l'accueil. Nous nous sommes totalement laissés guider dans le choix des plats et du vin : Pâtes crevettes au pesto avec un primitivo ... Sublime.

25/08/2024: Excellent dinner, traditional dishes with a modern twist, excellent location. The raw appetizer was good and plentiful (presentation could be improved). Prices corrected. I recommend it.

12/08/2024: We came here on the recommendation of a travel blog. The food was very tasty, prices were a little higher than usual in Bari, due to the reputation. The arrogance of the waiter was somewhat unpleasant, as he was visibly annoyed at our refusal to drink wine. Of my 7 mussels, 3 were closed. When I told him this, they were opened, but again in a way that made it clear how impossible he found my request... and then we didn't even have espresso or liqueur for dessert .

18/08/2024: Overall, we had a good experience with friendly service. The food was enjoyable, though not particularly remarkable. The appetizer featuring different intensity olive oils was a standout and a really unique experience. The pasta with truffle was super tasty and even came with a small piece of real truffle, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the cod and lamb chops fell a bit flat. The wine suggestion was a great match with our meal. The location is convenient, and the restaurant itself is cute. Just a tip—try to avoid sitting outside if you can, it gets really warm out there!

17/08/2024: The service is particularly jerky, they urged us to order food, when they brought out the drinks they didn't even distribute them, they just put them in the middle of the table, this is interesting for the service fee of 3 euros per person. The pasta was delicious in the end, but it was a very small portion and anyone could make it for themselves.

15/12/2024: Not excellent but decent trattoria-pizzeria Wood-fired oven... the mushrooms on my pizza were canned and not fresh, which is why it was not possible to rate them 5 stars.. The spaghetti all'assassina was too dry.. Very crowded as a place on a Saturday night

14/12/2024: A discreet place, the house starter is made up of many courses but of sufficient quality with the exception of the octopus salad which was really excellent. As a second course we chose the catch of the day, basically the waiter comes with the trolley and you choose the fish to cook on the grill, and finally you can choose whether to receive it without the fish or not. Rating for the fish 7. The excellent value for money, despite being located 2 steps from the seafront, is worth the 4th star.

17/12/2024: I went to this place for a company dinner and we opted for a €25 menu, with unlimited drinks. We had a number of starters, which were good and we chose individual pizzas. I didn't like the pizzas, very thin dough, mediocre seasoning and burnt edges. As for the digestive, anything without problems. I don't think I'll return.

16/12/2024: Found the place via Google, I called and booked for lunch right away, they were friendly and kind. Impeccable service Il Massimone was really kind, friendly and very knowledgeable, he advised me perfectly, I had an appetizer, a first course, a glass of white wine, water and tiramisu, what can I say for lunch.... DIVINE...!!!! I paid €40, a slightly high price for a first course and a second course and dessert without coffee.... thanks see you next time

Abbiamo assaggiato un piatto di strepitosi spaghetti all'assassina e uno di ravioli gamberi e pomodoro delizioso, preceduti da un piacevole antipasto con pesce e polipetti verdure. 12/12/2024: Il ristorante si trova picchi metri dal mare.Lo staff e’ gentile ed’abbile.I proprietari lavoratori e bravi attenti a ogni cliente.per parlare poi della cuccina che ho mangiato come una pazza ho pagato il piu’ che giusto ma la qualita del cibo superava tutto.Quindi mi e’ solo dispiacciuto perche’ non ci ero andata prima.

14/12/2024: Muy buen servicio por Angelo. Primi vino rápido, pero no segundo. Tratando de emular un restaurante francés con salsa decorativa, y más bien porción pequeña. Aunque no probé la pizza, parecen ser de un tamaño normal.

08/12/2024: A welcoming and well-kept place, with a wide selection of pizzas, even if the prices are in the medium-high range. However, the elegant image of the restaurant is unfortunately tarnished by the conditions of the bathrooms, which are not very clean and out of step with the modern style of the rest of the restaurant.

10/11/2024: Abbiamo prenotato con amici per caso una notte con colazione compresa e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dell'attenzione che ci hanno riservato all'arrivo ( un benvenuto con frutta e spumante ). La stanza nuova e pulita molto carina con terrazzo e sdraie. La colazione internazionale abbondante,con grande sorpresa è stata servita con tante proposte . Alla fine ci hanno portato anche le ostriche, tutto compreso! Servizio impeccabile e lavoro svolto con passione, tutto con vista mare. Il cliente si sente coccolato. Vale i soldi pagati Da ritornarci assolutamente
