11/05/2025: What a very special treat in Bari!! Everything was spectacular. A must for anyone looking for fine cuisine a la Puglia in Bari!

10/05/2025: The food was really good, but the service partly affected the atmosphere of the dinner. We took the menu with a wine package. The most disturbing thing was that each glass of wine came about 5 minutes after the food arrived. Also to mention: Knife and fork placed on the table the wrong way round, the waiter spilled the drink after which it was cleaned up but no one apologized or reacted by bringing a new one instead, without asking for it first. Our evening was not spoiled by the level of service, because the food and company were excellent.

20/05/2025: Typically Italian style restaurant, specializing in pizza and pasta. Quiet place on one of the side streets in the center of Bari. Very good spaghetti all'assasina. Friendly service. Modern interior design, nicely presented dishes. Prices similar to other restaurants in the area

19/05/2025: Very good Barese food and pizzas. We ordered the flan and the radicchio parcels and they were a delight. In addition, the first courses were very good.

27/05/2025: In this restaurant you eat very well, the portions are abundant, the staff is impeccable. The prices are very honest. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside it is nice and well-kept. I highly recommend it

26/05/2025: Posto da 5 stelle , non ha mai perso di qualità fin da quando ha aperto , anzi...sono tornato dopo qualche anno e ho rivisto quasi lo stesso personale di sala Non c'è più il buffet degli antipasti probabilmente posto COVID , ma meglio così a livello igienico e di ammassamento La qualità del cibo indiscutibile , crudo di mare livello lusso , antipasti della casa di mare e non rinnovati , primi piatti sempre abbondanti , ho preso le trofie con pesto di pistacchi , le consiglio vivamente, la mia compagna ha preso una splendida grigliata di pesce fresco Alla fine il cameriere per come ti tratta merita sempre la mancia Non vediamo l'ora di tornare

22/05/2025: 5 stars for the food, the service and the place. I tried the appetizer: average seafood salad (I would have liked a portion of mixed appetizer but it wasn't included), the first course is worth all 5 stars, something exceptional for the palate: parsley bavettine with almond pesto and prawn tails. Truly sublime. I would go all the way back to Bari for this dish!!! Good mixed fried food. Dessert: lemon sorbet made by them, a must try, exquisite!!

23/05/2025: The presentation of the dishes is excellent as is their taste. I don't like the style of the place (but this is a subjective opinion). The chairs should be improved, I found them really uncomfortable.

22/05/2025: Llegamos al restaurante por las buenas criticas en Tripadvisor y Google. Hay que tocar el timbre para que abran (es un matrimonio el que atiende, con gente en la cocina, el dueño nos dijo "es como abrir mi casa"). Posee una carta de vinos IMPRESIONANTE (y con vinos de todos los precios, y accesibles). La comida (gourmet) muy rica (platos no abundantes, pero muy sabrosos y diferentes). Precios no economicos pero acordes al servicios brindado. Muy recomendable.

15/05/2025: We had booked through Forks for 8:30 pm. We were surprised to be called by the restaurant and told they'd told us to arrive at 7 pm 😱 something we hadn't noticed. In short, they pressured us to arrive as quickly as possible. We ordered two eight-course seafood menus. Overall, the menu was good, except for the dessert trio, which was too sweet. But we were served much too quickly. We'd barely finished our plate when the next one arrived. Luckily, the person who served us was very pleasant and her service was impeccable 👌 We left at 8:45 pm; the restaurant was almost empty. Maybe they wanted to finish earlier? In any case, bad experience with The Fork who sent us an email to tell us that we had not honored our 8 p.m. reservation for one person (even though there were 2 of us)🤔

12/04/2025: E’ la terza volta che ritorno, ennesima straordinaria conferma cui segue inevitabilmente la recensione. Ristorante a tutto tondo superlativo (Ricci fantastici, tagliatelle di mare straordinarie), antiato e primi buonissimi e soprattutto ASSASSINA ECCEZIONALE. Complimenti da ritornarci sempre!!!

07/04/2025: We had dinner at 2 Aquile driven by the desire to taste their famous spaghetti all'Assassina, which, just as the other reviews say, are truly delicious. As an appetizer we had tuna carpaccio and drank house white wine. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and it's not true that the staff are rude, they were all kind and friendly to us.

24/05/2025: After some time I returned to this restaurant famous for spaghetti all'assassina. Unfortunately I noticed that it has become a restaurant for tourists, the quality of the dishes has decreased a lot and it is aimed at a less demanding public. Too bad

06/05/2025: The food very good..... For what was there we asked for various dishes but none were available. So I say warn before ordering that certain dishes are sold out. Wine list. Ok let's choose a wine, another one will arrive. Sent back. We ask for a finished prosecco too and opt for another. Once dinner was over we were running out of prosecco. The waiter arrives probably around 11.20pm... He takes away the bucket of prosecco..... It wasn't finished.... Without asking I can take it away. Okay, in the end we pay. To apologize for all the shortcomings they offered us a coffee and half a grappa

04/05/2025: On the occasion of my son's baptism we had lunch at this restaurant. Excellent food in all courses. Excellent quality of raw materials and preparation. Friendly staff, ready and always available. The value for money is excellent.

01/05/2025: The restaurant is very nice and the food is good, but I noticed the flaw described by other users, namely the fact that on holidays the service is really very slow. To be clear, we are talking about an hour and a half from arrival to receive the first courses. Since the place deserves it, this flaw must be corrected. Otherwise the service is polite.
