31/05/2025: Three families of us ate here. The food was good, but the service was terrible! Our order was wrong, and then they arrogantly brought us the right food, but it wasn't cooked as ordered! Our wives' food was completely forgotten, and then they blamed us! Never again

The restaurant was crowded that day, like many other restaurants.
However, we didn't have a long wait due to the busy schedule. The servers are everywhere and quite responsive despite the large number of customers.
The dishes are decent and reasonably priced. What we ordered was enough for lunch.
09/05/2025: Disappointing, the setting is indeed magnificent with a very pretty view, however the dish was bland and the service was not very friendly

04/05/2025: Good venue. Typical dishes, fast but kind service, cleanliness and order. Varied menu, dishes constructed but not too elaborate. The two of us tasted three dishes: bagnacauda with fresh vegetables, saffron risotto with ossobuco, mix of mushrooms with polenta. Good choice of wines. Price more than acceptable. Advised.

19/04/2025: There were three of us plus the dog, we were warmly welcomed, we were offered a small menu or card, great restaurant on the 1st floor, very familiar, price/performance more than fair and good, we are and were thrilled, would be happy to come back!
30/03/2025: Incinta di 9 mesi, prenoto per tempo un tavolo per il weekend a pranzo. Arrivo puntualissima alle 13 e la signora che mi accoglie mi dice che “ per un disguido” da dato il mio tavolo ad una coppia che non aveva prenotato e mi propone un tavolo fuori dalla sala da pranzo fronte bagno. Le dico che forse dovrebbe far sedere lì la coppia che non ha prenotato e che l’ha pure presa in giro ma nulla.. me ne devo andare.
Pessima esperienza. A mai più.

24/07/2024: We loved this hotel. Paola, its owner, is infinitely kind, the building is very beautiful, its location is perfect for discovering Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The view as well as the direct access to the lake are unique. A paradise. We will come back.

11/05/2025: Lastresa Restaurant: gentlemen, Good Food is served. The quality of the raw materials, refinement and elegance of the dishes make this place the best restaurant in Stresa. During our week in Stresa we had dinner at this place 3 times. Our regret is that we are too far away and cannot return to enjoy those dishes that are a joy for the palate. A round of applause and applause to his chef and his sous chef. Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

01/06/2025: The portions are increasingly smaller (e.g. pasta is no more than 30 grams per serving), even bread consists of about four tiny slices, but the prices, not those! Always on the rise! You still finish eating hungry! I'm sorry because only a few years ago it wasn't like this!
01/06/2025: Great view, excellent service, delicious food. The village itself is also very nice, especially in the evenings. I'd go back anytime.

03/03/2025: I went the other day, personally the pizza was quite good, a little floury, when the dessert was taken, i.e. meringue pie, an old slice was brought, sour and hard as a brick. When we asked for explanations, the waitress said that it wasn't true at all and that the meringue pie was okay, even though we had left it there they didn't even apologize, they didn't deduct the dessert from our bill.

23/05/2025: Un ristorante dove si da il massimo, i camerieri che quasi volano per soddisfare tutte le richieste ed approntare in continuazione nuovi tavoli. Le pietanze davvero ottime, d'altra parte dove c'è tanta gente c'è anche il mangiare buono. Noi in particolare eravamo un tavolo con due celiaci di cui una bimba particolarmente inappetente ed indecisa. Nonostante l'elevata affluenza sono riusciti in tempi brevi a preparare un piatto di pasta senza glutine anche per lei, con giusta cottura e veramente buona. Bravi!
21/05/2025: Sehr feines Essen. Wir waren eine 9 er Gruppe und alle waren begeistert vorallem das Risotto und die Lasagne aber auch der Fisch und Lammkotelett waren sensationell.
Der Service war sehr nett und gut obwohl es sehr viele Leute hatte.

21/04/2025: Lette le recensioni positive,ho voluto provare questa pizzeria. Le pizze sono molto buone, assaggiate: sfilatino, vegetariana e tropea. Personale molto accogliente e gentile.
15/04/2025: Ho trovato il locale tramite ricerca su Google. Mi hanno incuriosita le recensioni e le aspettative sono state di gran lunga superate.
Abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza e assaggiato il cannolo scomposto, delizioso. Il personale di sala ha migliorato la serata.
Consiglio di provare il posto per passare una serata piacevole e mangiare del buon cibo.

31/03/2025: Das Essen im Pontile war so ausgezeichnet, dass wir gleich 3 Mal dort zu Abend gegessen haben. Die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich, speditiv und sehr kompetent. Die Speisen waren äusserst lecker, ansprechend zubereitet und angerichtet und zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Wir können das Pontile nur empfehlen.
