13/10/2024: In front of the lake...of feriolo.. A small Portofino on Lake Maggiore... Delicious cuisine and impeccable service... Price? Money well spent!!

01/10/2024: Had lunch on Sunday, the restaurant is on the long lake of Feriolo, a hamlet of Baveno, a small quiet village. The location is remarkable, it feels like eating on the water, the spaghetti with clams, a few, with yellow cherry tomato cream and basil oil, were good. In my opinion the dessert was better, tartlet with pears and chocolate ice cream.

18/02/2025: Locale accogliente e cucina raffinata..... siamo stati serviti da un personale impeccabile,in un ambiente luminoso e abbiamo gustato piatti eccellenti e ben presentati. Non poca cosa. I ravioli ripieni ricotta e spinaci, con burrata e bottarga erano ben bilanciati e sfiziosi. Lo sfilatino ripieno e guarnito di ogni cosa, è stato in grado di sfamare e soddisfare l'appetito di un camminatore come mio marito! E i due antipasti - alici imbottite e fiori di zucca - erano veramente ben fritti e decisamente gustosi! Un pranzetto con i fiocchi che non osavamo sperare un lunedì di metà febbraio in una città semideserta ma suggestiva anche in pieno inverno. Di lì poi il buon consiglio di visitare il borgo di Orta San giulio, veramente da non perdere! Aggiungo che il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto buono e che sono tutti molto professionali e gentili.

07/12/2024: Vengo spesso in questo locale e ogni volta mi trovo benissimo sia per la pizza con prodotti ottimi e digeribilissima che per la cucina con i suoi piatti. uno dei pochi ristoranti dove si puo trovare l ottima Leffe Rossa alla spina .Se passate da Stresa fateci un salto.

03/03/2025: I went the other day, personally the pizza was quite good, a little floury, when the dessert was taken, i.e. meringue pie, an old slice was brought, sour and hard as a brick. When we asked for explanations, the waitress said that it wasn't true at all and that the meringue pie was okay, even though we had left it there they didn't even apologize, they didn't deduct the dessert from our bill. SHAME

05/01/2025: We went to eat on Sunday 5 January 2025 and had a great time 💯 both the cuisine and the pizza are excellent and the managers are very friendly and hospitable

07/10/2024: Wenn wir in Cannobio sind ist es keine Frage wohin wir essen gehen ! Wir gehen ausschließlich in's Il Pontile ! Es ist nach wie vor immer sehr gut !

30/09/2024: Ho pranzato con mia moglie in questo bel ristorante che con un’ottima location fronte lago prometteva davvero bene. Intrigati dal proposta sul menu di risotto con filetti di pesce persico, abbiamo entrambi preso questo piatto. E’ stato un errore ( e con il conto lo abbiamo anche pagato caruccio). Non si trattava di un risotto ma di riso ( solo bollito) guarnito di 4 ( quattro !!!) filettini di persico. In piu’ lo chef, probabilmente per mimettizare la semplice cottura in acqua bollente del riso ( no mantecatura, no soffritto, no vino bianco …) ha pensato di aggiungervi burro e , tanto, aglio! Sinceramente non abbiamo dato al locale una seconda chance e dopo il riso, solo un caffe e via! Unico sincero apprezzamento la gentilezza e la cortesia della signora che ci ha servito.

17/03/2025: Not a huge place, intimate if you eat fish, the meat dishes are not bad either. Honest prices.

26/02/2025: What I didn't understand is whether the young man who accompanied us, accompanied us to the table, took the order, brought the drinks and the various dishes ordered, also cooked them. Certainly the young lady sitting down to draw at a table in the room didn't bother herself much, even though she drew well... Apart from that, the modern and not very large environment was well heated and the food was good and well prepared, even the oysters were fresh and still tasted of the sea, the pasta was rich in prawns and the fried fish was made with fresh fish. Maybe 85 euros are a little above average, but if you want to satisfy a craving....

08/02/2025: Locale carino ed elegante! Le pareti ...rievocano la storia del locale! Personale gentile ed attento alle esigenze della clientela! Ottima la cucina ! Molto buona la pizza, vasta scelta! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Il meglio per pranzare in compagnia....vista lago!

04/01/2025: So first of all you don't really feel welcome quite unfriendly 2 glasses for 4 people and paid extra for it now ordered good food my food was no longer available at 6 p.m. no matter what else ordered portions were outrageously small so we had to stop at the next pizzeria with it We were full. Gnocchi were overcooked and the rest was, well, everything was only lukewarm. For the money, I expect small portions at least quality and fresh warm food, an absolute failure
