03/01/2026: The service was extremely disappointing. We had to wait forever for water, food, and the bill… no apology, no explanation. The food was okay, but having to wait that long for it was definitely not worth it.
07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the
Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!!
The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect.
The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again.
Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: Not bad. The quality/price ratio is good. Unfortunately, being a pizzeria, pizza doesn't seem to be available often except on Sundays or in the evenings.
Choosing the meat and fish menu, we can't say we had a bad meal. It's a shame the pandemonium of people made it difficult to converse at a normal volume. Perhaps it was due to the other restaurants being closed for the winter, but the fact remains that there was plenty of noise, and the service was a bit slow and distracted. Probably due to the overload of the clearly understaffed staff.

04/08/2025: Es war zwar sehr lecker, aber die Portionen sind leider ein Witz! Einmal geatmet und schon war das Essen leer. Also ich musste noch zuhause dann mir was zu essen machen weil von 100% Hunger wurden 30% gestillt.

29/05/2025: Fue un poco nervioso venir aquí, ya que las críticas eran un poco arriba y abajo, pero había un plato en el menú que quería probar! Me alegro de haberlo hecho también, haber tomado los espaguetis con crema de pistacho y guanciale -y vaya! qué plato- muy sencillo pero un plato absolutamente perfecto de pasta así que estaba contenta. La pizza de mi hijo estaba bien también por el precio. Me encantó el interior del restaurante también, parecía muy elegante y de alta gama, y el personal era amable también.

2 euro di caffè e 1 euro di servizio ..
A Domodossola non è accettabile.
Capisco perché lavora solo nel weekend con gli svizzeri. Non siamo in Piazza Duomo a Milano!

Leider dauert der Service sehr lange…
25/08/2024: Leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir hatten Fischfilet und Entrecote bestellt.
Das Fischfilet war voller Gräten und in Soße ertränkt. Es schmeckte fade.
Das Entrecote wurde medium bestellt und kam roh! Nach der Reklamation wurde das Fleisch durchgebraten zurück an den Tisch gebracht.
Ein Steak Medium braten zu können, sollte zur Mindestanforderung eines Kochs gehören.
Aus unserer Sicht eine Touristenfalle mit schönem Ausblick auf der Lago Maggiore.

24/04/2025: Gezellig en knus restaurant en heerlijk gegeten. Guiseppe was een zeer gezellige en lieve gastheer die het ons naar de zin wilde maken. Perfecte avond om de verjaardag van mijn moeder te vieren.
31/03/2025: Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Gute Pizzen und ansprechende Teigwaren-Gerichte. Wenn man in Eile ist und trotzdem gut essen möchte, der richtige Ort. Wir können das Ristorante AD nur empfehlen

07/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale durante una visita alle meravigliose Isole Borromee. Il pranzo è stato ottimo, sapori straordinari, personale eccellente, luogo da favola.
Consigliato a tutti, se, oltre alle bellezze del luogo, volete provare i buoni sapori del posto.

25/04/2025: Ci sono stata oggi con la mia famiglia ,ci siamo tornati dopo due anni , abbiamo ritrovato lo stesso staff , abbiamo pranzato in terrazza con una bellissima vista lago ,il maitre Luca molto ospitale,gentile come tutto il personale .Locale pulito .Cibo ottimo complimenti allo chef e a tutta la cucina . Prezzi adeguati perché c'è da tenere conto che la merce deve essere trasportata con le barche ... Lo consiglio !! Ci torneremo !

31/03/2025: Das Essen im Pontile war so ausgezeichnet, dass wir gleich 3 Mal dort zu Abend gegessen haben. Die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich, speditiv und sehr kompetent. Die Speisen waren äusserst lecker, ansprechend zubereitet und angerichtet und zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Wir können das Pontile nur empfehlen.
