31/05/2025: Simple and elegant restaurant at 2 steps away from the Lido beach of Fano. The outside facade of the hotel doesn’t represent properly the lovely restaurant inside the building. Very attentive service and incredibly fast. Everything starts with a great selection of amuse buche that includes small bites of different fish including amberjack, grey gurnard and mackerel, accompanied by a glass of bubbles. Then the bread comes, variety of homemade whole wheat flour delicacy and breadsticks. You gotta dip a bite into the Evoo. We tried the crudo, steam crustaceans, brodetto (it was the first day of brodetto feast) and turbot with artichoke. The last one was slightly disappointing as it came not even 100 gr of fish with a poor quarter of artichoke. A portion that would have been acceptable for a set menu not for a la carte. We finished with la “moretta fanese” and a generous “piccola pasticceria” by the chef. Very good value for money and highly recommended if you are in the area. (Bill is very reasonable: 70 euro for person including 2 bottles of Pinot Bianco)

03/06/2025: I've been to this place that has a beautiful outdoor garden where the tables are set up. Really nice, especially in the evening: it's cool and it's perfect for a romantic dinner, a family evening, a birthday party or simply for an evening with friends. Eating here is a real pleasure, there's a nice atmosphere and the staff is super, always present at the right time, without being intrusive. Even though the place was really full, the waiting times were excellent, we never felt "abandoned" at the table. I tried the seafood pizza (which is basically just tomato without mozzarella), but I added extra mozzarella... so much stuff! Maybe a little heavy, but for a treat every now and then it's great. Overall, a place that I recommend for the quality, the environment and the service. I'll definitely be back!

31/05/2025: My wife and I chose to have lunch at “La Rustita” on the advice of local friends and colleagues, who had highly recommended it to us. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations. We had ordered for two: two fish appetizers, a portion of tagliolini to share, a grilled fish, half a portion of fried fish and a liter of sparkling white wine. Of all this, only the appetizer arrived at our table, consisting of a cold appetizer and a portion of mussels each and the wine. While waiting for the first course, we asked for another portion of bread, since we were starting to get hungry, and it was kindly brought to us. However, from that moment on, nothing else arrived. My wife kindly asked a waitress to inform us of the status of our order, in particular the tagliolini. The waitress, kindly, said she would go and check... but she never came back. In the meantime, we noticed that a table near ours, with some children, received three plates of tagliolini after the appetizer, even though they had arrived at least half an hour after us. After about an hour and a half sitting at the table without receiving anything else and with our request having gone unheard, we decided to get up and go to the cashier to pay. The manager of the restaurant, very kind, sincerely apologized and decided not to charge us for what we had consumed. A nice gesture, which we appreciated, but which unfortunately could not save a lunch that was now ruined. We are very sorry for what happened, also because the staff is kind, the food we tasted was really good and the dishes we saw being served at the other tables were inviting and fragrant. This is not intended to be a polemical review, but a constructive invitation to pay more attention to the organization of the service and the management of orders. “La Rustita” has all the potential to offer an excellent experience to customers, but more attention and coordination is needed to not ruin everything with episodes like this. 20/04/2025: Pessima esperienza per un pranzo di pasqua in famiglia, scegliamo un menù di pesce , euro 65,00 a testa ma purtroppo il pesce dov'era?? I due piccoli primi inesistente in 6 c'era un gamberetto in solo piatto , i secondi un piccolo quadretto di spigola senza sapone contornato da zucchine e melanzane piene di pane , poi una porzione in sei di frittura, dimenticata completamente l'insalata che era nel menù , facendo capire che non era stata portata e la risposta è stata , "a ok bene" ma mai vista , un semifreddo , caffè , nulla di digestivo, nulla di prosecco ecc. Uno scandalo, mi dispiace ma per noi è un'esperienza da non ripetere mai più..

04/05/2025: Truly EXCELLENT FISH in a MAGICAL place at HONEST prices!! The place is refined, the quality of the fish is truly excellent and plentiful. The guy in the room and the lady at the checkout are delightful and very attentive people... they made me feel like a princess! I highly recommend the spaghetti with clams (it was sublime!), their tagliolini with seafood and the fried fish was something amazing, fantastic! Crispy, tasty! Even their liqueurs were excellent. All at very honest prices!!!!! Thank you for this special evening which I will always carry in my heart, I send you my warmest congratulations and best wishes for much success!
