07/09/2025: An experience, both personal and for those at my table, that was unforgettable in every way. From the moment we arrived to the moment we were literally kicked out of the place. We arrived, we asked where we could sit, and no one showed us where without accompanying us, which is something that happens everywhere I've been, but we decided to overlook this seemingly pointless matter, so we had to choose ourselves. As we sat down, a waiter came over and literally threw the menus at us from behind without saying anything (a rather rude gesture). We decided to overlook this aspect as well, even though it was more significant than the first. When they came to take my partner's and my order, we felt very intimidated by what we'd chosen (because he looked at us like a couple of poor wretches). We decided to overlook this as well, because ultimately it was just our gut feeling, even if it was obvious. They brought us drinks by slamming the water on the table in an incredible way, and that was fine... the only positive note, so far, is that everything arrived promptly; they practically didn't make us wait for anything. But let's continue with the story. While we were finishing our first course, they came to ask us what we wanted for the second course, and we simply replied that we had to decide. Two minutes later, my partner went to the bathroom, and the waiter returned, asking me what I wanted for the second course. I replied, thanking him, saying that I didn't want anything else. He then asked me how I wanted to pay and immediately brought me the payment card so I could pay at the table without asking, emphasizing that all this had happened in about a minute. By the time my partner returned from the bathroom, we had to get up and leave. Truly unfriendly in every way. If you want a quick bite to eat and then leave, it's a fine place, but if you expect even a modicum of courtesy, definitely leave it alone. I don't recommend it.

23/01/2025: Thursday evening, only 3 tables (11 people total). We waited over 1.5 hours for terrible food. The service was also poor: not even two breadsticks while we waited. Now I understand why it's always empty.

10/04/2025: The food is delicious, but the service is so slow that one wonders if it was forgotten. Oh~ I really forgot. The roasted vegetables I ordered were completely forgotten. The main dish was not served until the table was cleared.

23/06/2025: Mi ricordo tanti anni fa agli esordi il cartoccio costava 7,00€ poi salito negli anni gradualmente per passare a 14,00€ e considerando anche le bibite è un bel salasso!! per quanto gustosa possa essere è sempre una frittura di calamari. Mi dispiace privarmene ma sarà una scelta obbligata non lo ritengo un posto per le mie tasche.

20/06/2025: Oggi 20 giugno 2025 ho avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo ristorante e sono rimasto letteralmente stregato dal piatto suggerito dal titolare: tonnarelli amatriciani con polpo e pecorino....e chi li molla più, oltretutto uno più gentile dell'altro....ottimo!!!

15/06/2025: Das war genau das, was wir suchten. Ein hervorragendes Mittagessen mit Blick auf das Meer. Man kann im Restaurant zwischen verschiedenen Möglichkeiten auswählen: Self-Service, Essen mit Bedienung, Eiscafe. Wunderbar für einen Tag am Strand.

11/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per caso. La location molto carina e sopratutto in atmosfera rilassante. Pranzo ottimo piatti abbondanti e molto buoni. Consigliamo!

29/09/2025: We found ourselves having lunch with a friend during a stop on a motorcycle tour. The place is fabulous! It was a perfect late-September day for an excellent lunch in a quaint restaurant. We ate fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, mutton skewers, and sautéed broccoli, along with dessert and coffee. Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, and we chatted with the owner about the history of the place. A pleasant break before heading home.

21/09/2025: We went to Patrizia restaurant and our experience was not positive. The receipt even had a different name and address listed ("Vanilla Café" in Rieti), which creates confusion and a lack of transparency. We spent €25 for three iced teas and two desserts, a price completely disproportionate to the amount consumed. The place is beautiful, with relaxing music, but the atmosphere doesn't make up for it: the staff's manners don't make you feel welcome; in fact, they discourage you from staying and enjoying the experience. In short: an expensive place, lacking transparency, and with a welcoming atmosphere that leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it, as it's neither worth the expense nor the experience.

13/09/2025: We had dinner on September 13, 2025, at Il Grottino al Porto. In a plate of spaghetti with clams, I found a piece of metal wire, likely from a steel sponge. This is a serious hygiene issue and a health risk. When we reported the incident, the first waiter simply laughed. Another waiter, when we asked for an explanation, simply shrugged his shoulders, without apologizing or offering a solution. This kind of behavior is absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. With such high prices, one expects professionalism and safety in the dishes. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience: not recommended.

13/09/2025: Casual family dinner. Good food but not very professional. Wine without basket. 45 minute wait between the first and second courses. Also, a nice snapper was shown and not cleaned in front of us, so we started to doubt whether it was ours.

29/09/2025: Crazy price, terrible quality. Sautéed mussels, passable seafood salad, we should have gotten up already. Scialatiello with seafood: 3 mussels, 3 shrimp. Linguine with clams and lupini beans, where were they? Leftover fish, crazy ammonia smell, fish NOT fresh. Fried food, brown color, how long has it been since you changed the oil? They don't have bottled wine, only bulk, 1 liter 18 euros!!! Crazy!!! 139 euros. 5... I'm happy to spend that, but I want to eat fresh and good food, the opposite of today. Plus, two of us had a bad time, and that speaks volumes about the quality of the food served. Bathrooms need hygiene checks. Never go back. You can't feed people in these truly unfair conditions; you can't call yourselves a restaurant or restaurateur. You cannot serve seafood salad in a jar, but above all the food must be fresh, FISH FIRST and FOREMOST. Furthermore, it is good to say hello when the customer pays and leaves the restaurant. 16/09/2025: It's a shame about the art of the medieval village. The restaurant is in such a disrepair. The food is poor, with many dishes missing. Service is 0. Absolute indifference towards customers.

24/08/2025: The chef comes to the table to explain what's on the menu, and this alone speaks volumes about the quality of the products offered. All the dishes exceeded expectations, everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. This will definitely be a regular stop for years to come.

17/08/2025: Excellent. A rediscovery with the old management (ownership) returning. Wonderfully cooked fish and country grass pea soup with Ventotene cuttlefish. We were only there for two nights (unfortunately we left), but it's one more reason to return to the island. Special mention to Daniele, who was very kind and helpful and even took care of my back by providing a special pillow... See you soon.
