22/08/2026: After sampling their cuisine here and there, we decided to head straight to their restaurant! It was a great experience! Ideal for a dinner for two or for four people (the restaurant also accommodates larger tables, but in my opinion it's a waste as you wouldn't appreciate the beauty and intimacy of the place). A view of the pier that extends to the beach (it's a shame they're currently doing some renovations). The staff is always friendly, pleasant, and attentive! They're always available to explain and recommend dishes. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional!!! Nothing to complain about, really! Not a huge selection of dishes; don't expect a huge number of courses or a long menu; just a few dishes, well-made and meticulously prepared. THE FINEST. I approve of this choice and I VERY approve of the vast selection of wines by the glass!!! Excellent policy, especially for those who drive but don't want to miss out on a drink with friends! Well-curated dishes, a perfect blend of flavors, fresh ingredients, and I repeat, the quality is not lacking!! In a place like this you certainly can't expect to spend little, the prices are obviously above average!

29/07/2026: Excellent dishes and desserts. We had tagliatelle with ground beef and calamari with zucchini, and for dessert, a pistachio ball. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and prepared perfectly: the pasta was al dente, the vegetables were crispy, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, discreet, and helpful. We were welcomed by a very kind and communicative lady, unobtrusive and very attentive to the needs of her guests. Furthermore, she was very aware of and respectful of dietary restrictions. We felt treated with care and great kindness, something not always found in other establishments.

08/07/2026: On the first Sunday of July, in the company of a dear friend, M., a traveler like us, and her partner, P., we went to dinner at Ristorante La Scogliera in Zadina di Cesenatico. We'd been hearing about it for years, without either my wife or I having been there, and as soon as our friend suggested this restaurant, we accepted. First of all, I'd like to point out that for most tourists, life revolves around the eastern part of Cesenatico, up to the pier, which also gives the western part of the pier some fame, but Zadina is actually quite removed from the Cesenatico nightlife. Instead, Ristorante La Scogliera, surrounded by greenery, just steps from the sea and a splendid pine forest, proved to be a very pleasant surprise both for its location and, above all, for the quality of its cuisine. Parking is quite difficult, and not just on summer weekends, but with a bit of luck and a short walk, you can find it. We didn't visit the restaurant's interior (I plan to do so in winter), as we sat at one of the several tables in the well-maintained outdoor garden, under a cool pergola, undisturbed by passing cars or numerous vacationers. I'd venture to say that "La Scogliera" is a vintage venue, but perhaps this is also a distinguishing feature compared to the restaurants in the canal port; but, no small thing, it's welcoming, quiet, warm, and clean. My wife and I started with a mixed selection of cold appetizers called "La Variazione sul Tema" (minimum for two people), which offers a sampling of 8-9 different dishes, including rammento, red mullet, mantis shrimp, marinated anchovies, giardiniera (prepared by the chef), Catalan-style skate carpaccio, and tuna tartare. The composition of the dish varies depending on the season and the catch, sometimes from week to week: an excellent dish, admirably prepared by the Chef, accompanied by strictly homemade bread and focaccia. Our friends, however, opted for just one dish and waited until we were done licking our fingers. For the second course, some of us opted for another hot appetizer, some for a first course, and some for a second course—obviously fish-based—and we were all delighted by both the delicacy and the generous portions. If you wanted, one dish would be enough to fill you up and then move on to dessert, but since it was our first time, we wanted to order two different dishes and sample two different flavors. So we ordered (in no particular order) the "Mediterranean Golden Calamari" and the "Grilled Calamari Skewers on a Mixed Vegetable Salad." Both dishes were incredibly tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. And then the exquisite "Pan-fried Prawns with Aromatic Herbs" and the delightful "Baked Borsotti" (Baked Bread Rolls), two wonderful dishes once again, sublimely prepared by the Chef. All washed down with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and plenty of water (you never know when the breathalyzers will be checked in the evening). The pleasant flavors and the quality of the ingredients left us feeling full, suggesting we skip dessert (except for my wife, a glutton), and finishing with a coffee. Overall, an elegant restaurant with excellent service. Both innovation and tradition meet in the preparation of the fish, which is always incredibly fresh. The fish dishes are beautifully presented and praised by the staff, with the occasional visit from the owner, who is also extremely kind. In conclusion, I can confidently say that "La Scogliera" is one of the best seafood restaurants in Cesenatico, and the quality/price ratio (slightly higher than the average of almost all restaurants in the canal port) is absolutely fair. Hats off to the Chef who has turned "La Scogliera" into a true gem of a seafood restaurant.

And if you have the chance to meet him, you'll also have the opportunity to have a moment of.... Well, you'll have to go there to find out! Highly recommended 🔝...

10/08/2026: I stopped for a few hours at this beach and found a very helpful guy at the counter. The beach is very large with about 20 rows of umbrellas. You pay based on the number of rows, which isn't a bad idea; the front row pays more! There's a bar and slides with a pool inside the complex, and fine, clean sand.

Located directly on the beautiful Porto Canale, the Leon d’Oro restaurant offers an exceptional setting where you can fully enjoy the typical atmosphere of the Adriatic coast. We had a wonderful evening. The dishes were generous, prepared with high-quality ingredients, and bursting with flavor. The fish and seafood specialties were particularly successful, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The seafood pasta was delicious, as were the fried dishes, which were light and crispy. The portions are substantial, and the value for money is excellent. The staff were welcoming, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were always served professionally and in a friendly atmosphere. You can feel their genuine passion for traditional Italian cuisine. Another highlight is undoubtedly the location, right in the heart of Cesenatico's historic port. Dining on the terrace with a view of the boats at sunset makes the experience even more memorable. If you're looking for an authentic place to enjoy excellent Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting, I wholeheartedly recommend Leon d'Oro. We will gladly return on our next trip to Cesenatico. 18/08/2026: Both outdoor seating with a beautiful shallow pool and indoor seating for the winter months. The food is very good and plentiful, but the wait from arrival to completion is very long, so it's fine if a customer is relaxed and has the patience to spend the evening there. Good value for money. The waiters aren't very experienced.

16/08/2026: Total disappointment, very poor service, we waited a long time between courses, we ordered coffee, we waited 40 minutes and they arrived with dirty spoons full of ice cream. Mediocre food compared to the price paid.
