I was recently at this restaurant and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best meals of my life. Each dish was a symphony of flavours, carefully prepared and presented like a work of art. The freshest ingredients and attention to detail made every bite a real joy for the palate.
But what really made the experience extraordinary was the service. Vittorio, the head nurse, is simply exceptional. His professionalism, courtesy and ability to anticipate every need made us feel like special guests from start to finish. Vittorio has a rare ability to put every customer at ease, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere without ever being intrusive. His dish recommendations were impeccable and demonstrated in-depth knowledge and genuine passion for his work.
This restaurant is not just a place to eat, but an unforgettable culinary journey. Congratulations to the whole team and a special round of applause to Vittorio for making our evening truly magical. I can't wait to return!

03/11/2024: My wife and I tried Ristorante D'Aiello on our first day and Italy. The food, service, and views were excellent. This is a great place to eat, especially if you enjoy people watching as many tables overlook the main street. We went during non-peak tourism times, which I would highly recommend if you plan on enjoying Italy without being shoulder to shoulder on the streets and wish to see and enjoy everything on your list.
Special shoutout to our waitress, Elenora, who was extremely polite and whose service really contributed to the great experience we had.

05/01/2025: We had a family reunion returning home after 44 years of a time and family members who never return.
I ran on foot through the alleys, meeting VIPs, Italian and foreign heads of state, this was my Amalfi Coast and this place, together with the Tarì, belongs to those memories, where the prices for us were very high.
Today, 6 of us stopped and took 6 pizzas and a bottle of water.
Total €116.
Good pizza and courtesy, high prices as they once were, this is the Amalfi Coast.

17/12/2024: The only bad meal I have had in Italy was here. Sadly the risotto I ordered was served cold (which was woefully disappointing on a winter’s night) and was bland. My friend’s soup was not much better. The only thing worth eating on the night was the dinner roll.

11/12/2024: Hallo zusammen,
scheinbar gibt es hier auch ein paar Leute mit schlechten Erfahrungen zum Ristorante "la perla". Die kann ich nicht teilen.
Wir waren 2x drinnen. Das erste mal war Mittags. Da hat uns der vermutlich Chef etwas nervig in der Gasse eingefangen. Wir ließen uns das gefallen und haben schnell jeweils einen Teller Nudeln gegessen. Die waren in Ordnung, aber auch nicht weltbewegend.
2 Tage später haben wir dem Lokal noch einmal abends ein Chance gegeben. das war schon besser. Zugegeben die Portionen (z.B. das Thunfischfilet) sind nicht groß, aber dafür ist der Preis mit 18€ auch passend kleiner. Für Wenigesser wie meine Frau perfekt. Mancher Schnäppchenjäger mag vermutlich vom günstigen Preis angelockt, dann über die Portionsmenge enttäuscht sein. Kurzum, wir haben das volle Programm genossen. Starter war die Thunischtartarplatte die hier z.Zt. als Profilbild des Lokals dient. Absolut lecker. Die Hauptspeisen (Tonno und Tagliata) waren sehr gut, ebenso Dolce und Wein. Dazu ein sehr freudlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

04/12/2024: The food is reasonably nice. Portions not too generous. Service and attitude of the staff is crappy. Prices average just like every other touristy spot in Amalfi. The lady who I presume to be the owner was miserable. One thing really ticked me off is that they served a bottle of San Pellegrino mineral water which was obviously refilled and was charged €5.

18/11/2024: Ci siamo trovati per caso, era un po' tardi ed il posto ci sembrava tranquillo e fuori dal flusso intenso dei turisti. Abbiamo ordinato due spaghetti con le vongole ed una frittura. Gli spaghetti erano pieni di olio e con vongole sicuramente congelate in quanto non avevano alcun sapore, la frittura anche questa surgelata e piena di olio. Il prezzo era onesto, ma non ci tornerei.
02/11/2024: Chiaramente i giudizi negativi che leggo sono fatti per recare danno a chi sa fare il suo mestiere. La pizza Cetara e il calzone che abbiamo gustato sono indimenticabili per un buongustaio. Gli ingredienti di prima qualità - la pasta perfetta nella lievitatura e la cottura magistrale - risulta fragrante e croccante senza essere secca. BRAVISSIMI! E continuate così perché c’è bisogno di cose buone!

28/12/2024: Io e te dobbiamo parlare: Siani avrebbe detto “ PUORT O PAN “, io aggiungo il portafoglio. Sono entrata nel ristorante con appetito, sono uscita AFFAMATA perché quando iniziavo a gustare una pietanza, la portata era già finita. Il fritto di “paranza” contemplava solo calamari e mazzancolle spacciate per gamberoni. Il sorbetto al limone, tipico del posto, terminato il giorno prima e, pur avendo da una settimana la nostra prenotazione (per 10 persone), non pervenuto. L ‘ unico aspetto positivo la compagnia del mio tavolo.
16/09/2024: Precioso restaurante en Pogerola, una alternativa tranquila al centro de Amalfi. Tuvimos una cena relajante en la terraza al aire libre, con una maravillosa vista sobre los alrededores. La comida, el servicio y el vino eran muy buenos. Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita.
