25/03/2025: We had lunch here in Sept 2022. I’m mostly writing a review on behalf of my husband who ordered Pizza Caprese. I’m his words, “I have never had a pizza like this. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I cannot get that pizza out of my head. I would go back to Capris just for that Pizza.” Being used to seeing below average tourist spots in New York City, we were biased that this restaurant would have mediocre overprice tourist food. To our surprise, the food was amazing. I had risotto which was fantastic but the Pizza Caprese was the winner: fresh dough, mozzarella, and tomato. Simple Beauty.

17/03/2025: Che dire, cibo eccellente, basato su prodotti locali e ovviamente di stagione. Si trova sia cucina di mare sia cucina di terra, a seconda della disponibilità, ma sempre di altissima qualità. Non affidatevi al menù, contiene solo i piatti della tradizione ma non quelli effettivamente disponibili, vi saranno comunicati dal personale di sala, che poi è di norma un solo cameriere (attento, cordiale, mai invadente). Prezzi medio-bassi. Ci torniamo quando possiamo, gustandoci anche la meravigliosa passeggiata.

31/07/2023: Servizio orribile. Abbiamo ordinato del cibo e abbiamo aspettato per molto tempo, ma alla fine ci hanno portato dei piatti che non avevamo ordinato. E un piatto è stato cancellato dopo 40 minuti di attesa. Il personale è molto lento. Alla fine abbiamo cancellato i piatti, pagato le bevande e siamo andati via. Il cibo che ci è stato portato era bruciato e al posto dell'insalata c'era solo un pomodoro tagliato. Non consiglio di visitare questo posto👎

03/10/2023: After booking (really advisable) there were seven of us around a booked table for six... not bad... the classic add a seat at the table... the waiter solves everything in no time. ....large, well-lit and tidy car park...of note...finally...the absence of the legendary (illegal....of course) official parking attendant...a typically Made in Italy institution Naples. Even orphans of such an institutional figure... we park and head... in scattered ranks... towards the assigned table... immersed in a beautiful, well-kept garden. Well... all the conditions for a beautiful and carefree evening are already there. We are welcomed with an entree consisting of 1 (one) small fry and a nice fresh glass... good, good... but maybe we wouldn't gain too much weight if the fries were reduced to two....(Peppinoooooo.....he would have said the legendary Totò...) oh well...the initiative is commendable anyway. Live music was the background for the whole evening...classy...present but not invasive....well well.... Bruschetta has arrived by popular acclaim...decent....and various fried breaded vegetables...definitely better... Various pizzas (all 5 stars....compliments to the pizza chef) and a mussel soup with the legendary tarallo 'nzognz and pep (suet and pepper for non-Neapolitans...)...good but not excellent (suspiciously defined. ...soup from the friendly waiter.....)....it delighted our palate....good beers and the accompanying wine (red) was ordinary.....ice cream....coffee various....barricaded grappas and random bitters completed the pleasant evening....the price is also worth mentioning....interesting....20 euros each....live music, parking, coffee and... ...killer coffee included...very nice, fast and patient staff. Will we go back??? Surely....

05/08/2023: All good and plentiful. Honest in both quality and presentation. Recommended.

05/11/2023: Day visit to Capri, in the middle of a rainstorm, no umbrella. Gave up trying to kill time so arrived at restaurant bit earlier than opening. Staff could not have been more helpful, towels to dry off etc. Finally got settled and food, wine and service all exceptional. In particular, the risotto - best ever anywhere. Would love to revisit and try the dinner service.

03/11/2023: A hidden of the main path of this lovely little town is this place. Does not look like a lot, but is superb. Especially this little beautiful garden patio in the back. Excellent salads, pasta and pizza! Really among the best we had. More than worth it to walk a few more steps!!

08/10/2024: Excelente pescado de todo tipo y el ravioli era maravilloso. Buena selección de vinos y un servicio atento. Fue nuestra segunda comida aquí y lo disfrutamos en ambas ocasiones.

21/09/2024: Molto delusa, ero andata per mangiare e ascoltare musica, c'ero stata una decina di anni prima e avevo trovato carino il duo di musicista che giravano tra i tavoli allietandoci con le canzoni napoletane, scopro invece che adesso se vuoi ascoltare la musica ( è vero che si sentiva anche fuori ) dovevi prenotare il tavolo all'interno dove ovviamente la partecipazione è diversa, un vero e proprio spettacolino, sembrerebbe quasi una festa privata, ovviamente però il coperto resta uguale 4 euro a persona sia dentro che fuori e trovo questa cosa molto scorretta, ritengo più giusto che la serata coinvolga sia chi sta dentro che chi sta fuori.
