30/07/2024: A very nice small hotel, beautifully situated on a hill, with a magnificent view on the valley and the little castle close by. Rooms are clean and tidy. Remi and his family bring the best service, attending to your every need. Enjoy the quiet, cool garden to read your book, catch up with work or have a cold Aosta wine sitting at the table under the old Kiwi-tree. If hiking is your thing, make sure you ask Remi for the best possible hikes and places to go. You cannot choose your dinner, but the hotel brings a nice three course meal every evening, asking you in the morning about your possible preferences. We certainly will be back!

27/07/2024: I would have loved to stay in this beautiful hotel, but I was dissatisfied with how we were treated on the phone just for asking for information... a real shame! Answer: I checked many times before dialing your number and I'm 100% sure that was it... for me but I think for other people too kindness is the basis of everything... I'm sorry about how things went.

09/08/2024: Last night we had dinner in this place for the first time, booked by some friends of ours, let's start from the location which is beautiful to say the least, with attention to the smallest details, from the walls to the ceiling to the furnishings which all match perfectly, food, a real surprise, very fresh fish, prepared with skill, we had to try appetizers, first and second courses, all delicious, the two guys who served were kind and not intrusive. Unfortunately I feel like not giving the star that is missing for a small thing that in my opinion should be added, namely a menu where you can consult proposals and prices, which unfortunately is missing, the boy comes and lists the various dishes, where however the customer does not have way of understanding when you are going to spend. Then I must say that at the end of the dinner the bill was fair for the quality and quantity, but I highly recommend a written menu. But I highly recommend it and we will certainly return.

24/07/2024: The evening in this fish restaurant located in the old village of Trentinara was truly very pleasant. Trentinara is famous because it is considered as a terrace from which you can enjoy a unique panorama over the entire plain that goes from Agropoli to Battipaglia with the sea, Capri and the Amalfi coast in the background. The location of this restaurant focuses instead on the more rustic part of the village and on its ancient walls, all made of well-kept stone, which give a warm atmosphere to the rooms. The restaurant is purely fish-based and the menu is not written there as it varies depending on what can be found freshly from the market. The choice is truly commendable and I fully appreciate and support it. A small suggestion is to list the relative prices together with the dishes of the day, just to be correct. Then, but we will only find out at the end of the evening, the cost will not only not be a problem, on the contrary, it will be one of the restaurant's strong points. The friendly dining room staff explained the evening's proposals well to us and we started with two cold/hot appetizers to be divided between 4 and I must say that the choice was spot on given the very generous portions that characterize their entire offering. After bruschetta with tomato they brought us smoked salmon and tuna, a superlative octopus and seafood skewers. Then we continued with some fried courgettes and squid and finally an exceptionally tasty dish of octopus with tomato that you couldn't help but "scarpet"! My children and I then continued with 3 first courses: scialatielli with lemon and shrimp for my little one which I found fantastic, paccheri with fried aubergines and fish for my older one where the seasoning was truly divine and super tasty, while I I've been on some classic scialatielli with seafood. The preparation and quality of the pasta, as well as the raw materials, are exceptional in all three dishes. To finish, my partner and I had a baked turbot with potatoes which, although appreciated for the freshness and quality of the raw material, however did not convince us much in the preparation which we found a little heavy and too greasy. The fried food my little one got was also very good. To accompany the evening we drank an excellent Valentina, pure Fiano, from Ruotolo which never disappoints! Also in the 2022 vintage. As mentioned, the quality/price ratio is truly one of the strong points of the place, as is the freshness of the raw materials used.

27/08/2024: It has good views, as long as they offer you a table for it, which was not the case although the premises at that time were half empty. The food in this case (fried squid and shrimp, tagliatelle with mushroom and amalfi pizza) was not good. No flavor, poor preparation. We ordered two glasses of red wine which were not served on the table for some reason. I asked what the wine was and they told me it was local wine, but I suspected it had come from some cardboard in the refrigerator, it was really bad.

26/08/2024: This place was great! I've been finding it hard to review the places I've eaten at in Italy so far but this place I just had to, just to recommend it to other people. The risotto I had I felt was the best dish I've had in Italy so far, that might not mean much since so far we've been to some very common places but all in all it was absolutely delicious! The portions we've had seemed to have been designed with us in mind, with that being said we're both completely satisfied. (Ordered tagliatelle with mushrooms, sea food risotto, mussels with pepper and fried shrimp + calamari) As a digestivo we had the grappa and limoncello, the limoncello in this case was wonderful! Absolutely one of the best either of us have ever had! All in all with the friendly staff, great location and exquisite food i highly recommend you try to take your way up the mountain path to have a lovely evening at this restaurant.

29/08/2024: Very nice place not far from the center. The food was very good, we had two fish first courses and a mixed fry, all excellent. The only flaw was a misunderstanding with the staff which almost led us to get up and leave....

28/08/2024: Really nice food and very reasonably priced for somewhere so near to the centre of sorrento but service was a bit hit and miss on our visits with forgotten drink orders and cutlery. Maybe it was trainee day. My steak was delicious just a shame about the service

15/08/2024: We arrived after the opening time, but the gate was still closed. When we finally got in, we were greeted very unfriendly. They didn't take the time for us, and came by three times asking if we were finally ready to order. A few minutes after the appetizer, the main course arrived while we hadn't even finished the appetizer. The pesto pasta was incredibly dry, tough, and tasteless even though it was very oily. The pizza with anchovies was okay. The view with the sunset was amazing, but it’s definitely not worth going there for the food and service. All in all, we do not recommend!

12/08/2024: The gate was closed even though the opening time was 20 minutes earlier. The exorbitant prices, the same as Positano and Sorrento, I might as well stay there. Generous portion but nothing special, very neglected location. I don't recommend it!

29/08/2024: I had dinner with friends after ordering three pizzas and three first courses we had to wait an hour and a half to be served with poor results in service and product quality.

20/08/2024: Terrible kitchen-dining room coordination😱😒 There were 4 of us, two couples. 3 of us received the dishes 35 minutes after ordering, the 4th received the grilled octopus after another 15 minutes and mostly arrived semi-raw!! BEGINNER MISTAKE, I think. Waiters apologizing for the lack of a man in the kitchen! With more than 70 people in the room?!?!? So not beginners...But also INCOMPETENT!!! my final thoughts!!! Quality-Price-Service Ratio, Incredible in the negative!!! CONCLUSION....Restaurant to Avoid!!!! In the area, you can eat very well in many other places!!! We respect the Neapolitans and the many of our tourist guests who are SACRED for Naples!!!

14/08/2024: The restaurant was exceptional, both for dinner and breakfast. The room had a splendid view, and the swimming pool, despite being small, was also very pleasant, with hydromassages and a view of the center and the sea. Parking on the terrace is very convenient.

10/08/2024: Speaking of Emilia, I have always gone out to eat in years ago, but last night I ate a bit badly, in fact it dropped in quality, I tried spaghetti à la nè, but they weren't even close to the à la nè, it was pasta and courgettes, you must then use provolone del monaco, not random cheeses, bho pizza was a wholemeal with walnuts, sausage and onion bho! Tasteless savory scialatiello.....then I thought but what if they think I know a tourist who doesn't understand a thing? I'm sorry but it fell .... exaggerated prices mamma ro carmen
