11/10/2025: I went to this place because it is so renowned, my personal experience; spaghetti with clams: they didn't have that NICE FLAVOR that one expects, the spaghetti was not mixed at all with the clams so much so that "in the plating" the clams were just placed on the spaghetti as if they were prepared separately and put on top, in any case zero flavor, washed, then fried calamari: so-so nothing exceptional, super kind and attentive staff at the table.

08/10/2025: This place was pretty good. There was no queue for lunch and the service was nice. Food was of a reasonable quantity but freshness of seafood was a bit lacking overall ok

19/04/2025: I rarely give five stars, but these are truly deserved. Excellent food (you can taste the quality immediately) and a menu with an international, sometimes very unique, approach, revisited with thoughtfulness and grace. Plus, the place is casual and charming, and the owner is a smart, friendly, and well-meaning young entrepreneur. Top.

02/03/2025: The two of us ate pasta and potatoes with provola cheese, a glass of red wine, and a bottle of still water. The pasta was good, the wine was so-so... anyway, they'll never see me again because you can't charge €35 for two first courses and half a glass of red wine (so-so).

03/10/2025: Pretty average fish restaurant. We had much nicer meals for half the price in Amalfi.

02/10/2025: Good restaurant with variety of fresh fish. Ask staff what kind of fish is available as it is not always on the menu.

10/09/2025: I had a fantastic dinner here, the service was brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. The setting was very romantic, we were lucky there was a thunder storm and were able to see lightening over our beautiful dinner. I had the rabbit ravioli as a main and it was absolutely delightful, and my husband had a delicious beef dish. I feel it was very reasonably priced, I’ve dined at Michelin starred restaurants that have charged much more but delivered far less. It was a gorgeous evening ❤️ thank you zi nannina

09/09/2025: A restaurant not to be missed if you're passing through Ischia. Breathtaking views of the sea and the Castello Aragonese. Everything is perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner. Refined cuisine featuring local produce. A menu to suit all tastes and impeccable service. A restaurant to discover without hesitation. You have to search a little to find this wonderful place, which is truly worth the detour.

31/07/2025: We visited Ristorante O’ Pignattello for an aperitif last weekend. The hospitality is sublime, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The staff, from the maître to the commis waiters, is attentive, professional, and kind, making sure you are well taken care of at all times. The venue is meticulously curated down to the finest details. From handcrafted tables to unique ceramic centerpieces, it’s clear that the aim was to create a welcoming space rich in artisanal references to Ischia and the Campania region. The food was the cherry on top. From the amuse-bouches prepared by the chef, to the bread basket and the final sweet pastries, every element was delightful. A special mention goes to the rabbit braciola, a delicious recipe and a creative take on the traditional Ischian rabbit dish truly outstanding. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. Rowena

11/10/2025: The food was good but the menu was not very extensive and could have done with more choices. My husband's starter arrived but not mine, and when I asked the waitress she said ... oh did yiu order a starter 😏 it arrived a few minutes later. We had stuffed seabass for our mains which neither of us particularly liked even though we like seabass. The waitress seemed more much more attentive to the americans on the other two tables than to us. We found it to be a little pretentious and have been in better restaurants in the UK. My menu had no prices on it which is a little old fashioned in this day and age considering women's equality. If we were in Positano again we wouldn't go this restaurant!!

09/10/2025: My favorite restaurant. What can I say about this magical place? Excellent service, courteous staff always available to satisfy any request, under the watchful eye of "Don Antonio," the owner, and "Luigi." The cuisine features regional dishes revisited but still maintains the traditions of the true Amalfi Coast. The location, in my opinion, is the most beautiful terrace in Positano. Highly recommended; try it!

07/10/2025: When we first arrived, the restaurant was empty but the waiter’s service stood out immediately. He was very professional and welcoming. We ordered a 350ml wine but were instead served a 750ml bottle. We let this pass because of how professional the service felt at that stage. The presentation of the entrée (see photos) was excellent, but unfortunately the flavour was lacking and the mussels tasted fishy. The pasta, as shown in the photos, also looked good in terms of presentation but again had very little flavour and was unpleasantly fishy. When it came time to pay, the experience unfortunately took a turn. The staff seemed unhappy that we paid by card, and they asked for tips even though a service fee was already included in the bill. When we declined to add extra, the receipt was thrown at us which felt very unprofessional and left us disappointed. The prices are far too high for the quality of food and service provided. This place is highly not recommended for tourists. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but given the overall experience I cannot recommend this restaurant.

06/10/2025: We just had a drink here. The manager was a lot friendlier than the waiter. A lovely place to sit and have a drink on a little street.

25/07/2025: Catastrophic service, we had to wait 1h30 for our dishes,… Excessive prices but the dishes are passable.

04/07/2025: absolutely recommended place, really excellent food quality, cheap prices and you are welcomed with a smile and kindness, by staff who turned out to be professional and welcoming, we took the straccetti with rocket tomato, a meatball and a saltimbocca, truly exceptional it had been a long time since I tried a pizza dough so good, I absolutely recommend this place.

05/10/2025: Five days in Italy. This was by far the best food I have tasted. We have been to Venice, Naples, and I find my best food here . I want to come back soon!

04/10/2025: Let's just say it was terrible. The portions were incredibly small, and the pasta was completely broken, like it was lumped together and then torn apart before being served. The service was terrible, the waiter had a scowl on his face and I thought I owed him money.

08/10/2025: We stayed for three nights at the Villa Lubrense for the last part of our honeymoon and can't recommend it enough. Amidst the bustle of the Amalfi and the rest of the Gulf, this hotel is quiet and restful and would be great for both a weekend retreat or a longer-term stay. Its location is unbeatable, with amazing views of the Gulf, Vesuvius and Naples. There is a small, rocky beach that is about a 15 minute hike down the rock face. By the beach are a few restaurants (the one we went to had the best pasta we had in Italy). It's also easy to get to the Bagni Regina Giovanna (a must-see and worth the 30 min walk from the Villa - or 20 mins if you take the bus to Capo) and to Sorrento (about 15 mins by bus which costs 2 euro and comes every 20 mins). If you feel comfortable renting a scooter, it would definitely be recommended, as the bus is not fully reliable - make sure you note where the bus stops are. Overall we had no issues though. I also want to specifically thank Fabiola for the wonderful service. After a difficult day (and a mistake on my part) we arrived late and Fabiola stayed late and picked us up herself - it saved our honeymoon and I'll always remember the gesture!

02/10/2025: The complex is beautiful, our room was not good, lots of background noise and old, breakfast was often simply empty, a ten-minute wait for a roll, sausage out... If you love breakfast, it's terrible. ADDITION, ADDITION: For the last three days, a different person has prepared breakfast, and lo and behold, there was sausage and eggs... The response to my hotel review, that we were late for breakfast, is not true; we were at breakfast between 8:10 and 9:30.

28/09/2025: There were 10 of us for lunch, and the quality of the products was truly exceptional. We had two different first courses: tuna genovese and spaghetti with clams. Everything was excellent, as was the fried fish. The quality and price were fair.
