13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local. The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view. It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla. Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent. We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people. Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers. All very good. The staff is very kind and very professional. I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.

02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.

Chianalea (Scilla), this restaurant with a platform overlooking the sea not only offers top quality food, fresh fish, recipes that combine tradition and originality, but also reserves kindness and availability from the staff, always careful to satisfy customers' palates. A glass of wine in front of a breathtaking view, a welcoming environment, refined in detail. I would say that there is everything you need to make it a little pearl.

27/12/2024: The staff speaks English, and that's where the advantages end. Most menu items are unavailable. The waiting time for the meal is excruciatingly long. The waitress constantly confuses orders and tables. A place where you can stop by for a glass of wine and appetizers. The rest didn't work out for them today. The only thing that saved the situation was the view and the interior.

06/01/2025: Noi abbiamo cenato e soggiornato. Tutto perfetto. Stanze pulite, nuove, accoglienti e confortevoli, con una vista da perdere il fiato. Ristorante eccezionale. Da consigliare assolutamente!!! Prezzi molto onesti.

01/01/2025: Premetto subito che è stato riconosciuto l'inconveniente con relative scuse ma quando va a monte un pranzo di Capodanno servono a poco. Ho percorso circa 180 km per arrivare al locale. Ordinato un antipasto misto, decisamente insignificante per il prezzo richiesto..... per non parlare del primo, filei al pesto di pistacchio con vongole, rimandato subito indietro insapore, scotto, senza sale, vongole messe a mo di decoro completamente fredde. Le scuse in questi casi servono a poco, il titolare avrebbe dovuto tirare le orecchie al personale di cucina per aver presentato un primo non saltato in padella con le vongole ma messe sopra completamente fredde. Non ho reclamato per la frittura pessjma di mio figlio perché mi sembrava di inferire troppo.... sarebbe il caso di rivedere qualcosa con il personale di cucina.

Abbiamo provato tre volte per giungere alla conclusione che è meglio un panino in autogrill,.

18/11/2024: Ristorante scelto per la sua posizione panoramica (molti gli scalini per arrivarci). Mi sono seduta all'esterno, sul balcone panoramico, e ho ordinato il tanto decantato panino con pescespada (12 euro) e una birra (4 euro + 2 per il coperto). Non male il panino, ma non memorabile. Atmosfera quasi surreale per me, unica cliente presente, ma con uno splendido panorama di sfondo. Pochissime e indispensabili le parole scambiate col gestore.

01/11/2024: Incommentabile, 2 ore per mangiare dei panini che non credo neanche possano essere dichiarati tali, pesce spada inesistente, servizio assente. Abbiamo dovuto persino prenderci i menù da soli. In aggiunta sala semi vuota, quindi non si riesce a spiegare attesa. Non consiglierei questo posto neanche al mio peggior nemico. Non è possibile selezionare un voto minore di terribile purtroppo

09/02/2025: I don't recommend it. All the staff spoke English except one person who served us. Food dry and underseasoned. The staff kept looking at us and making comments under their breath. The menu includes Limoncello, which was nowhere near the real thing. I don't recommend it to anyone
