14/01/2025: Sono tornato con piacere a La pignata dopo qualche tempo e sono rimasto ancora più soddisfatto della volta precedente. Pesce fresco cucinato in modo eccellente grazie alla fantasia dello chef, personale educato qualificato e sempre disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo

07/01/2025: Il pranzo è iniziato con antipasto scarsa di quantita, poca qualità in quanto pesce scongelato e cozze vecchie. risotto che nn era molto saporito e secondo frittura scarsa e pesce non fresco. L'unica nota positiva il cameriere molto educato e cordiale. prezzo salatissimo a fronte di una qualità e quantità scadente. Davide

01/01/2025: I spent New Year's Eve there and I will definitely never go back again. A nice place, but I don't recommend eating the fish as it was of very poor quality. The staff, on the other hand, were quite sociable, despite some shortcomings. Luckily, at least, there was music and you could dance.

13/09/2024: vista bellissima ma cibo di scarsa qualità e gusto, servizio ottimo ma prezzi esagerati. menù scarso con poca scelta, cibo davvero schifoso!!!!

02/10/2024: Small restaurant on the sea front almost hidden by the large restaurant next door. We were the first to arrive in the evening and it was quiet through the evening. Just as well as the guy serving tables also seemed to be cooking. It was a small menu but we were pushed towards a smaller choice, we were told mussels were not good in September although we have eaten them elsewhere. We asked for house red wine but got rose. We ordered one baked fish and one swordfish. However a plate of marinated swordfish, octopus and potatoes also arrived as a starter which we later realised we were not charged for. It was very good. The roasted fish was OK but the middle was not cooked. Bread was very good. With a bottle of water the bill was 47 euros. Very good value.

12/09/2024: I thing I never tolerate at restaurants is menu without prices and this is exactly what happened to me at this place. Both waiter and the chef did not speak English and they were not able to explain any prices or help us with ordering in any way. We have ordered Pasta Frutti di Mare which was good , however mixed with a lot of oil which can add taste to almost any dish. After all they didn’t even create a tax receipt, just a handwritten note. The service wasn’t nice to us and even haven’t tried to be , maybe it’s because we were foreigners or because we have ordered only one dish for two. At 19:30 there was no one eating in this place , which adds even more peculiarity to this situation as all other places where flooded with people at this time. I wish I haven’t had this experience as I felt fooled and treated unfair.

07/11/2024: Location spaziale. Una terrazza sul mare! Abbiamo degustato alcuni antipasti proposti dallo Chef come le alici con bruschette e un sauté di cozze. Le alici davvero fresche e polpose deliziose una volta adagiate sulle bruschette condite con olio locale.le cozze erano uniche. Non grandi ma davvero saporite. Le migliori che abbia mangiato ad oggi. Poi, su altro consiglio dello Chef, abbiamo preso un filetto di tonno pinna gialla alla piastra, leggermente scottato. Delizioso e saporito. Il tutto contornato da un'insalata tipica locale con pomodorini, insalata, olive, cipolla e peperoncino fresco. Una bella bottiglia di vino bianco ci ha fatto compagnia per il pasto. Prima del caffè ci siamo fatti fare un sorbetto personalizzato dallo Chef, con fondo di limoncello locale e una spolverata di caffè. Davvero sapori ottimi. Personale molto cordiale e carino. La spesa è giusta se capisce la qualità delle materie prime e anche della location. Sicuramente da ripetere!

28/09/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo posto, a mio parere , il più bello di Crotone per come è situato, in pratica, pranzi o ceni in mezzo al mare. Cibo buonissimo, i proprietari Sergio e Tessy, sono gentili, disponibili e professionali. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
