A true experience: excellent food and service
13/07/2026: The service is good, the calm atmosphere on the terrace is pleasant, but the food doesn't really live up to French culinary expectations. The enormous slice of tuna is served practically raw, without sauce or any side dish, and the pistachio crust is unfortunately reminiscent of our breaded fish: no more flavor. Perhaps our choices weren't the right ones, or our French tastes were simply different. It's a shame because it's expensive for Italy.

The lobster spaghetti was sublime.
The spaghetti with scampi cream was also very good.
The mixed grill and grilled calamari were exceptional.
Probably one of the best restaurants in Le Castella and the surrounding area, highly recommended!

04/12/2025: We were a little hesitant at first because the restaurant was completely empty, and we initially thought it wasn't open. However, we went in anyway, and the owner, who also serves as waiter and cook, gave us a warm welcome. It's a small, family-run restaurant.
The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The salad was very simple and uninspired, but fresh and tasty nonetheless. The presentation could be a bit more appealing, but that's not really as important as the taste.
In any case, we felt very welcome and comfortable there. We would definitely come back.

08/06/2026: Authentic Italian – a delight for every palate!
If you're looking for genuine Italian cuisine, this is the place to be! The food was simply outstanding – typically Italian, bursting with flavor, and prepared with great care. Every bite was a winner; we were absolutely thrilled!
The staff speaks very little English, but that didn't detract from the evening at all – we communicated with gestures, and the team's warmth and genuine friendliness more than made up for it. Sometimes, that's exactly the proof you're in a truly authentic restaurant!
What particularly surprised us: the value for money is absolutely fantastic! For the quality and quantity of food, you really pay very little – restaurants like this are rare these days.
If you're looking for an authentic taste of Italy without breaking the bank – this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

11/08/2026: Pinsa and pizza very good, 2026 seafood pizza horrible calamari and cuttlefish frozen and on the pizza still cold and with a disgusting smell, I don't know how you can serve such a disgusting pizza.
05/08/2026: We found it by chance during a stroll along the seafront and chose it based on the excellent reviews. The place is charming, all in shades of white and with fairy lights that make it refined and ideal for special evenings.
The dinner was impeccable: rich and flavorful seafood appetizers, exceptional and top-quality fried fish. The pizzas were also excellent, delicious and much loved by the kids.
All at perfectly average prices.
We will definitely be back.

02/06/2026: Party with loud music and shouting until 2 a.m. Breakfast was rather meager. The hotel is by no means worthy of 4 stars. See attached photos – that pretty much says it all.
02/06/2026: The hotel is like a dusty art museum and quite dated. The rooms have been renovated at some point. The beach isn't easily accessible. Unfortunately, during our stay in the shoulder season, we experienced a very loud party that lasted until 2:00 a.m. Breakfast was rather meager, not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The hotel's surroundings weren't particularly appealing either (see photo).

17/08/2026: I ate at this restaurant twice during my vacation, and I'm honestly sure I'll be back in the coming years.
Aside from the spectacular view, the service is impeccable in my opinion; the waiters are knowledgeable and attentive. The prices, in my opinion, aren't excessive, but reflect the true quality of the dishes, which are truly excellent. I'm not giving the food 5 stars simply because, based on what I've tasted, the starters need improvement, as they're not very flavorful (but that could also be personal preference). Everything else, including the freshness and cooking of the lobster, are phenomenal (it melted in your mouth).
Special mention goes to both the seafood caprese and the panko tuna, which I found to be stellar.
11/08/2026: For the first time, after years of vacationing in Calabria, I visited this restaurant.
The atmosphere was magnificent, especially at sunset and in the evening. The dishes were impeccably presented and of excellent quality.
The staff was very professional and helpful.
I personally had the raw seafood and the panco red tuna. The raw seafood was fresh and flavorful, and the tuna was indescribable.
Highly recommended!!

08/12/2025: We ate well, all seafood-based, the stew was excellent, I found a splinter of the shell in the peppered mussels, the price of 36 euros per person for an appetizer, first course, and second course was very good, it's a shame you can't choose à la carte; if you want just a second course or a first course you pay the same amount, the staff were friendly, the bathrooms were very large, and the nice thing was, there were fresh flowers. It's a shame there isn't a very visible sign outside.
26/10/2025: This restaurant is a bit unremarkable, both in terms of location and menu. It offers seafood dishes with a €29 fixed-price menu featuring a choice of three from nine options. The dishes are well-prepared, but there's no hint of traditional ingredients, and the menu is a bit out of place.

Mangiare un piatto a base di pesce stando coi piedi sul mare e la vista verso l orizzonte è un esperienza unica, piatti deliziosi, impossibile non apprezzare i dolci fatti in casa, si mangiano già solo con gli occhi! 23/04/2025: Gambero Rosso es un lugar encantador en una ubicación costera perfecta en Crotone. Disfrutamos especialmente de las tardes soleadas en su balcón con vistas al mar, ¡un ambiente tan relajante! La pasta con gambas estaba deliciosa, las bebidas eran geniales, y el servicio era cálido y acogedor. Muchas gracias al propietario, su esposa, y especialmente Francesco por hacer nuestras visitas tan agradable!

15/07/2025: Arrivati verso le 21.15, passano a prendere l'ordinazione alle 22, le pizze arrivano alle 23.15. Questo potrebbe già bastare!!! Però, a rendere il tutto ancor più surreale è stata la presenza di una inutile serata Karaoke. Questo tipo di iniziativa può avere senso a metà settimana, non certo al sabato col il locale stra pieno di clienti affamati.
Nemmeno un grissino, un cestino di pane nell'attesa infinita della pizza che nemmeno mi è piaciuta: troppo, troppo, sottile.
