A Mexican restaurant with a very unique location and meticulous attention to detail. The dishes are delicious; I recommend the cochinita pibil tacos, burrito norteño, and frozen margarita. Recommended for a family or couples dinner.

A niche spot, homemade food, from tacos to salsas. If you want to go somewhere and feel like you're in Mexico, Habanero is the place to go. The entire staff is amazing, hard to find in Turin. They're truly great!

Last night I went to Habanero, and I think it's one of those places that manages to do something very difficult: create an authentic experience without being fake. As soon as you enter, you're catapulted into a warm, colorful, almost cinematic Mexico. Candles, sacred icons, Frida Kahlo, fabrics, soft lighting, details everywhere: every corner has a story to tell, but without becoming kitsch. In fact, the atmosphere is incredibly coherent and immersive. You can sense a real identity-building effort, not the classic "scripted" ethnic restaurant. The feeling is that of a lively, lived-in, welcoming place. One of those restaurants where the evening begins as soon as you sit down. And then there's the cuisine, which is the real surprise. Here, the Mexican is refined, authentic, full of flavor, yet refined in just the right way. Not the heavy, standardized Tex-Mex you often find, but dishes that maintain character, spice, depth, and the quality of the ingredients. We began by sharing quesadillas and other convivial appetizers, perfect for getting into the mood for the evening. The quesadillas were truly excellent: well-heated tortillas, a stringy yet balanced filling, flavorful ingredients without being heavy. Those photos speak for themselves: seemingly simple, yet carefully crafted. The fajitas were probably my favorite dish: served still sizzling, fragrant, packed with well-sautéed peppers and onions, tender meat, and a subtle yet elegant spiciness. Even the side dishes—rice, black beans, tortillas—were not mere accompaniments, but an integral part of the dish. Everything had flavor, texture, and harmony. The tacos with marinated onion and lime were also beautiful: colorful, intense, with that perfect balance of acidity, saltiness, and spice that makes you instantly crave the next bite. Special mention also goes to the cocktails, which were truly well-crafted and perfectly integrated into the experience of the venue: not just "accompanying drinks," but part of the evening. And finally, dessert: an intense, dark, almost velvety chocolate cake, served with cream and cinnamon. The perfect ending to a dinner full of bold flavors. But what really makes Habanero special is the friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind, smiling, and welcoming in the most spontaneous way possible. They make you feel like a guest, not a customer. And that's a huge difference today. In a Turin full of "Instagrammable" places, Habanero manages to be truly memorable: because beyond the aesthetics, there's soul, beyond the atmosphere, there's cuisine, beyond the cuisine, there's warmth. It's the kind of place where you leave thinking not just "I ate well," but "I had a wonderful evening."

Exceptional cuisine!!! Fresh, high-quality ingredients! Excellent value for money! The service is fast, attentive, and very friendly. Even our little dog was welcomed very well! Highly recommended!

It reminds me of when I was in high school in Mexico City

The location is lovely and very well-kept, and the staff is very friendly. You can tell they put effort into what they do, but given the prices and good reputation, I expected to eat really well, but my expectations were disappointed. I'm vegetarian, and the meatless dishes lacked effort, creativity, and even flavor—elements that seemed to be present in the omnivorous dishes of my companions. I'm sure that if they put more effort into it, they would be capable of producing great dishes, just like the prices they sell them for.

We went to this Mexican restaurant and had a great experience. The place is truly welcoming and tastefully decorated, instantly putting you in the right mood without being chaotic. The food was very good, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Everything was cooked to perfection (and the margaritas were no exception!). The atmosphere was lively and pleasant, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends. The staff was friendly and the service was just right. If you're looking for good Mexican food in a refined setting, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!

I've been to this place several times; it's one of my favorites. Every detail is meticulously crafted, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The dishes are delicious; you can really taste the care they take, and the salsas are delicious, adding that authentic Mexican touch that makes all the difference. I've had chicken fajitas, a ranchero burrito, and of course the frozen margarita... absolutely top-notch! I'll be back a thousand times over.

The restaurant has a really warm and cozy environment right in the Vanchiglia area. Me and my friends had a great time there. The food was excellent and I highly recommend the Tacos de Camaron, the crispy breaded shrimp were incredibly flavorful. We also tried the Fajitas Mix and it was delicious. For dessert the warm Churros with chocolate sauce were the perfect ending. What truly set this place apart though was the wonderful staff. They are extremely polite and welcoming. They also speak excellent English which made our visit super comfortable. Definitely coming back ✨😊🌮
