08/12/2025: We were there on a Sunday evening. Given that it's a restaurant I already knew, I went back specifically for their duck bigoli. As usual, the atmosphere was lively and energetic. Great team, well done, well done! Especially to Chiara, congratulations for the great service! But unfortunately, I slipped up with the bigolo. The pasta was sooooo al dente and lacked its usual creaminess; it almost seemed separated from the sauce. I'll definitely be back, hopefully for the next bigolo. In any case, for me, it's still an excellent place to try authentic Vicenza cuisine just steps from the center.

17/01/2026: I've known this inn for 20 years, and it's always been a very welcoming place, a true osteria. I returned yesterday after a long time, and it was a disappointment, and I write this with great regret. Although the space is still magical, the food doesn't live up to old memories: after an appetizer, my husband and I ordered the donkey stew, which was tough and indigestible (we both spent the night awake). I don't like writing negative reviews online, so I informed the waitress that it wasn't good at all. Unfortunately, the response was evasive: I'll inform the kitchen. Furthermore, the bottled wines are overpriced. It's an osteria, so at least keep the house wine; it's always a good option for those who don't want to spend €55 a head and still eat decently. The staff is friendly but clearly unprepared: if a customer complains, I think they try to make amends somehow. Which didn't happen. Furthermore, in a real osteria, shifts don't exist: prices go up for everyone and tourism is increasing even in our city, but it's truly sad that this beautiful place has succumbed to the allure of canteen-style service rather than maintaining a strong identity.

The food was truly delicious and refined, using typical local ingredients. The only downside is the price of the dinner (rather above average), but for a place of this caliber, it's definitely good value.

30/12/2025: We went for lunch yesterday. We'll definitely be back! In winter they're open Monday to Friday, so we were lucky. It's a family-friendly restaurant with very warm service from the waiters and the receptionist. The food was plentiful and delicious. They have a high chair for babies, which was a huge relief for us. I ordered gnocchi with four cheeses and my husband had spaghetti with anchovy sauce. For our main courses, I ordered the classic breaded cutlet with potatoes and my husband had escalope with salad. We had room for dessert, but since it was winter, it wasn't available, so we had a nice coffee instead. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food, and, I repeat, it's a cozy and climate-controlled atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful meal near the beach in winter.

08/02/2026: I have been dining at Da Angelo for 20 years and never once have I been disappointed by my meal. The taste is great and preparation is perfect. When you go, you'd better have a good appetite, the portions are tremendous! The family always made us feel comfortable as if we're part of the extended family. I can't wait to go back!
