05/08/2025: The pizza was very good, and the gluten-free pizza was among the best I've ever eaten (even though they shared the oven, which meant it was contaminated), which I wasn't expecting in a tourist spot so close to the arena. Prices were a bit high, but normal for the location.

02/08/2025: This place is for connoisseurs only. Completely off the noisy, hyper-Asian Piazza San Marco/Rialto circuit... In a quiet little square, a real tavern! White tablecloth, excellent service. Very good and tasty dishes. Good wine and a perfect atmosphere. 40 to 50 euros/pp. I loved it.

19/06/2025: Beautiful outdoor setting, we had fun, ate great food and enjoyed the atmosphere, polenta was a bit too salty for our taste but the ribs were excellent. The octopus was well grilled, the foccacia was perfect and the pasta was also delicious. A bit pricey but definitely worth a try.

16/07/2025: Excellent place. You walk in and they're tempting (the fish counter is visible from the first glance). Stefano is fantastic, and knows how to recommend various food and wine pairings. The oysters and Mazzara shrimp are excellent. The sea bass is excellent, served by his wife (forgive me if I don't remember her name) with extreme care and skill. I'll definitely be back. Review

27/07/2025: We had dinner yesterday for two and had a wonderful meal, with excellent tagliata and vegetables paired with a good bottle of Refosco. The only complaint is that we paid one euro each for the two glasses of water we ordered with the wine. Highly recommended, even if they could have included it in the €3 cover charge. A bit of a letdown, in our opinion.

13/07/2025: We had a wonderful lunch in the cool and peaceful internal courtyard, surrounded by plants, bamboo groves, and flowers, with a large, beautifully set table. The owner personally takes orders, explaining the menu and carefully recommending the perfect wine pairing. Everything was delicious, but the bigoli in duck ragù and the desserts, including the excellent crème brûlée, were truly exquisite.

25/07/2025: I am so grateful I was able to reserve a table at this gem! There is a reason so many return over and over. We were greeted with open arms when we arrived early for our reservation. What an extensive, beautiful wine list! We chose an incredible Gaja Barbaresco. The “welcome bruschetta” was stunning. The tiny peaches in truffle oil!!! Oh my Goodness! The specials of the day were plentiful and made it difficult to narrow down choices. We started with wonderful fresh raw oysters and octopus in tomato sauce. The whole sea bream and cuttle fish were perfectly prepared with gentle seasonings, not overpowering the freshness of the seafood. The atmosphere, so intimate! The staff, impeccable! Thank you Sebastiano for taking such good care of us! I even asked that he sign a book for me…not only did he sign it, but the entire restaurant staff signed as well! If I return to Venice, I will book my reservation here as soon as I book my flight! Again, many thanks!

20/07/2025: Stopping here was the best idea we ever had! We stopped outside, and the waiters couldn't have been more kind, polite, and helpful! George was AMAZING even though he knew we were only going to order wine and an appetizer. We ordered the appetizer and everything was amazing. Just to reiterate that this is a genuine review from people who are very picky about food, service, and atmosphere, and that in our opinion, it's worth coming if you want to have a glass of wine and an excellent appetizer!

31/07/2025: Congratulations. If you’ve found this review, you’ve unlocked a hidden gem of a pizzeria. We arrived at fair Verona, and it was bustling with tourists. We wanted to experience something more local and relaxed. We were advised to seek this place out down a quiet residential street. It didn’t disappoint. The pizza was made from quality ingredients and fired in the oven at the perfect temperature. The crust was perfectly browned, almost taking on a caramelized flavor. It remained crisp and served as the perfect canvas for the delicious cheese, tomatoes, and tomato sauce that were so rich in flavor. Definitely stop by and check out this 100+ year-old pizza place.
