14/09/2025: Great experience. We found the restaurant by chance, and the menu really appealed to us. We chose the €20 menu with an appetizer, first course, and dessert. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it!!

15/09/2025: Restaurant in the historic center of Gubbio. Very traditional menu. Excellent, generous dishes at a reasonable price. For two of us, we paid €45 each for one appetizer, one first course, two truffle-flavored second courses, two desserts, and one bottle of wine. Everything was excellent, including the truly professional service.

15/09/2025: I went today at 12:30, without a reservation. But it's Monday. I don't know about other days. We ate a platter from Picchio. Cured meats, bruschetta, and fried vegetables. I found the ingredients to be very high quality. Two first courses: cappellacci with pears and walnuts, and agnolotti with braised meat. Both were good. The portions are generous. Water, 1/4 cup of fragrant and aromatic white wine, and 1 coffee. 50 euros well spent. The cover charge is cloth. The service is fast and courteous. Luckily for me, the atmosphere is friendly and light. There's no need to boast to make good food. Gubbio is worth seeing, and worth eating. Well done.

Locale davvero molto piacevole e accogliente dove puoi goderti tranquillamente la tua serata. 26/09/2025: A family-friendly and informal atmosphere. The food is excellent; when we're in Gubbio, we always eat at La Balestra. We've known it our whole lives, and it always maintains high standards. Highly recommended, even for vegetarians.

08/10/2025: Personally, I don't understand the negative reviews: I had a truffle pizza: Excellent. I can't remember a better one. My neighbors were also very happy with their pizzas. We got a seat right away in October. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices were very reasonable. Besides, the restaurant's lovely ambiance. I don't know if it's different in high season, but I can't imagine it being different in every respect.
